Four years and 5 months in this game for me. I have only saw dev once on a jungle wurm, a ranger with a pet named moon moon. Dev is like a nessie for me, i know it real but i saw it once but maybe it was just a red colored asura. Seeing devs cap something in wvw is like seeing nessie taking a stroll and sunbathe on the shores. Why complain?

As title says, can’t download the latest patch, maybe someone has similar issue, my internet is running fine, can’t explain why is my download so low and then it reaches zero and stops all together.

Let me sum this up op: people don’t play pvp so much because it’s too much stress for not much of the reward, and you cry yourself to sleep after 10 matches. Matchmaking is horrible and everyone is formage.

Wvw is somethig like a-net’s middle unwanted child, it gets minimum attention, it wears clothes that pve have outgrown and they constantly forget to go wvw pta meetings at school saying they are busy with work and just can’t make it. It’s sad really, because the potential of wvw is massive but they claim they don’t have money for sending it to college, but younger and older sibilings are getting new iphones every year and tutoring classes.
People in wvw can repeat same content only so much before they get bored, therefore it’s mostly empty except on reset nights.

Trash talk before the game starts as much as possible to draw the global aggro. When they realize you’re not at mid at least 1-2 will split off to find you.

I deleted my asura guardian because empower animation was asura poledancing around the staff. It was too much.

Let me simplify: cof is here for 4.5 years. Lot of players are here for 4.5 years. Lots of people have done it a thousand times if not more. P1 is one of the fastest most easy path in a dungeon ingame.

There are people who have done it so many times that can run it literaly with eyes closed. They decided to farm it because its fast, so they need the same type of people, who have done it thousands of times, who run zerk so they can melt everything away in a matter of seconds so they can earn as much gold/items in least amount of time.

They create lfg that states speedrun/farm, if you are not a speedrunner/farmer, why join that group, then later complain if you get kicked necause you didn’t meet the group requirements?

Follow up question: In terms of running a 3man fractal which comp would be optimal:

Guard, Necro, PS EA warr or Guard, Necro, Chrono

would condi warr be nice for epidemic synergy?
is 25 might stack > alacrity in a small man group?

not trying to look down on you or anything but, to 3man fractals to lvl100 you would need to know your class(es) and all the weapons they use and skills in order to find the suiting build and weapon combo for your group.

Doing pve content like dungeons or world bosses or little wvw would help. Might stacking, condi synergy aclarity you don’t need to know that yet on lower lvl’s, you’ll ick up things along the way.

Just because something is meta doesn’t mean it’s the best for you, you need to know you can pull your own weight and learn fights in order to to something little more risky like glass canon, and by learning i don’t mean watching yt videos, just do all the fractals from 1-100 with no skipping, you’ll learn it that way best.

Try to 3man it from lvl1 with your friends and see if you can do it, if not you can always run it with 2 extra pugs.

1. It is, but since i doubt you have much experience ingame (like dungeons, that’s like a training for group content) and fractals, i think it would be better to 5-man it, you can find groups almost instantly or start your own in lfg and it fills up within minutes.

2. This is too extensive to answer, seasoned players can do it with whatever builds, it depends how capable are you and how much time are you willing to sacrifice per run. More dmg=shorter run=squishy and so on. Necros and druids are popular because you can faceroll. Food and utility and fractal potions also help.

Fractals also have instabilities starting lvl 20 i think, so there’s that. Just run them in order you’ll get in a hang of it. And don’t forget about agony resistance, the higher the lvl, the more you need.

So, I got a disconnect in a ranked game. Got back into the game after about 60 seconds (restart GW2, joining Mists, joining game). We won the game and i got +15 rating.

Still I got an 11 minutes dishonor timeout.

1. People with no weapons equipped and you can’t report them because there is no option for that

2. People who threathen your team on the beginning of the match ti give them gold,or they won’t play and you can’t report them because there is no option for that.

3. Several people capping empty close as soon as the match starts, standing there and counting pebbles on the ground.

4. People being greedy kittens so we lose the match because two mentally challenged people decided we can cap and hold all three points even tho we were winning with 2 capped ones.

The only response i got is to run the game in window mode, but i don’t want to run the game in window mode i want to run it fullscreen as i ran it for 4 years. The performance isn’t the issue since i have a new rig. And no its not my computers fault since game ran normal for 2 months.

So again, a few months back my windows 10 had some updates, suddenly when i turned on the game the screen went black than a few flashes of my desktop, then login screen. Same thing happens every single time i switch maps and i can only thank god i don’t have epilepsy because i would have seizure every time i switch maps. All my drivers are up to date, didn’t change anything ingame so that would resulted the flashes, still no responses from devs or anybody.

And btw switching to windowed is not the solution, i want to know why is this happening.

I farmed 10 vials of maganese dioxide from corals for a week, harvested around 250 corals. I needed it for bifrost. Good luck with the berries mate.

Every other match i have at least 3 people capping empty close when match starts. At this point nothing surprises me, i kind of got the feeling the pvp pool of people got some kind of IQ reduction by 40, so i can’t get mad at mantally challenged individuals.

No. Just limit it. No gw2 before 6 pm and no past 10-11pm.

You probably just want to play gw2 really really bad that any other activity seems boring at that time during the day, same with sleep, you are too excited about it and want to play it instead of sleep. I had that 4 years ago when i started the game, and sometimes can’t sleep that well if i’m making a legendary.

Yea, I think the wardrobe unlock makes the chests more interesting. Of course you have a bigger chance of getting some really common thing you just haven’t happened to unlock yet – especially if you’re a newer player. The wardrobe unlock is most valuable for those players who have either been playing a long time or who like to unlock everything. The items they have left for the Wardrobe Unlock to unlock will be fewer and more rare.

But I’m still not going to buy keys until the Festival item is gone. The Wardrobe Unlock isn’t a guaranteed drop.

I know it’s not a guarantee drop but i just wanted to share this since i almost never get any drops worth of mention through 4 years of playing, it was a really nice surprise.

I play fractals with only ele for 4 years, not running meta, doing t4 with 0 problems, nobody complained so far in pugs. Stick with ele, do your thing. If you can pull your own weight you should be fine.

No. When making eternity you need to throw sunrise and twilight in the forge, forge makes it unlocked because you used both skins to create a new one.

After latest win10 update, upon switching maps i get blinking screen that shows my desktop a few times. I updated all my other drivers after that but nothing changed. Anyone experiencing the same and has some advice how to fix it?

Maybe anet should strip seasonal AP content and all other content they worked through the years, and also remove all the, now not obtainable AP’s from players who are also AP hunters and busted their behinds to get them just for sole purpuse to satisfy you, a rather new player.

Well i got two of some kind of rocks from somewhere if you have it on your char it tells you where anomaly appeared. I’m bad with remembering stuff sorry cant remember where i got them

I agree, they just merged us a low wvw populazion server, with another even lower population server, and we are set aginst 4 top tier ones. So i guess two low populations make a strong merge, and other two make it a gank fest. Gg.

A word of caution for people considering sending gifts. I have been fairly active in sending gifts when I could because I enjoy it and someone else helped me out for my one request. That said, I’m guessing here, but maybe 1/4 of the people I have sent gifts to updated their post to note they received what they asked for. The rest never even bothered to update their request post stating they have received some or all of what they asked for. On top of that I have seen many people post several requests and when they do they delete their previous request post to take advantage of generous people.

So if you decide to gift someone use caution because unfortunately there are people that are taking advantage of this thread. Also be very cautious of people that are asking for mats or gold as I’m fairly certain that some people are using alt accounts to make those types of requests. I think I can tell because their post style is almost identical to posts they have made from other alts.

Hopefully honest players can still benefit from this thread. Sadly I’m not going to gift anymore though because many requests are in my opinion shady. It’s too bad some people take advantage of such a nice thing and they should be ashamed of themselves for doing so.

What did you expect from people who ask for items that are over 100 gold (but lets not forget they are deeply ashamed and sorry for begging on forum like every other post states) ? Mmos require a lot of grind if you want the shiny, but its way much easyer to mooch off people who put time and effort into this game. It’s equal as if they are scamming if they don’t edit their posts, i would sevearly punish those who don’t. But since this thread is in gray area, nobody will be punished, just those sheeps who give the moochers stuff for free.

I do the same thing, i have done it for my four legendarys. After that i just take a week or so break because i feel burned out. Now i decided to craft bifrost but this time i’m taking it slow. I will farm my mats, not buy from tp, not spending a single gold from my wallet.

I just want to lose fair and square if i suck and my team sucks, i should lose pips. Not like this. I can see how this can be abused if someone sees their party is going to lose he can exit the game and noone loses pips, but this should be fixed in non premade.

It seems every other match i’m playing i have at least 1 dc ofc in my party since the beginning (not in the middle of the game). And still losing pips on the end of the match. Fix this because it’s not fair. Pvp is nauseous as it is, this is making it even worse.
