Honestly i played more mmos more than year each, not wow type, more action dynamic fight type like tera neverwinter etc, allways up to hardest endgame – and i never seen this meta crap, its ridiculous, and this class unballance (is that even possible for so evolved mmorpg as gw2 claims to be????). Makes me wonder.

The thing is, you whine you can’t do “difficult endgame content” yet you don’t run…well anything with anyone. Pugs kick you because you are probably being carryed (which everyone can feel while doing a dungeon run) so you eat a kick. You whine how you join a half dead guild and expect some activity there, everyone inviting you left and right and you joined like 15 min ago.

In non half dead guilds it’s even more difficult. You have to befrend the members and not be a dead weight in pve in order to get invited or invite them. Sometimes they ask you to run a certain build or gear. Now, you can be a rebelious little noob and leave the guild because how dare they ORDER you arund, and you have been playing this game for two full months. Not to mention ts3 is allmost allways a must.

The thing is…. if someone who is playing this game for 3 years gives you advice, he is probably trying to help you. Not to boss you around, just to improve your gameplay so you can carry yourself through any content in this game and shorten the time spent in the dungeon. That’s why people sometimes state AP xx is req, just to be sure player spent enough time ingame so they understand how things work.

Why is zerker meta so popular? Why is elitism so popular on lfg? Because people try to maximize their dmg to speed things up, because the loot on the end/during is not so good. Time is money for some people, especially is they are grinding for something.

Simple solution: make your own lfg (omg i know so much effort) stating casual/friendly/lvl build or class not important.

And another thing, generalising the whole community based on a few lfg reads and 2 pug kick is really showing how much you actually do have experience in mmo/game content in general. Good luck finding a guild and take care.

Dear op. I started this game little less then 3 years ago. When i started, lfg was still not implemented so you searched your group on map chat I was too kicked quite a few times too. Then i decided to run it with my guild once i hit 80. Problem solved. The thing is, nobody wants to carry players because it’s annoying.

Fractals are “end game content” where you complete 4 dungeons in one run one after another, and you get hoards of rings or nothing (and one gold), then you sit in front of the screen wondering what are you doing with your life.

The reason it doesn’t stack is that you buy one item with 25 charges. You don’t buy 25 seperate items, therefore, it doesn’t stack.

3 months ago, 4 full ascended characters later and a lot of fractals later, i somehow managed to find out ascended is acc bound, not soulbound.

The entitelment is strong within this one.

That may be so but remember, legendary back items are coming, which i expect to be even harder to get then weapons.

I find it silly that the person who is leading/formed the group can be kicked at all. That’s stupid.

I don’t know how long you play, but i had my fair share of arrogant obnoxious cringeworthy experiences with previous party leader sistem. The only thing that is suffering is dungeon selling for which i don’t care at all.

When i started gw2 nearly 3 years ago, ever since i watched the trailer i wanted elementalist. She’s still my main till this day and after playing all the weapons builds, i decided to stick with s/f. Meta is staff but till this day nobody complained about my weapon choice. Just now i finished fractal 40 with a group of pugs and after our run i get a whisper i got added to friends by the same people saying i play my class well and if i lack people to run fractals with i’m allways wellcome to their group. Ele is a hard class to play, especially if you are choosing to be a field blaster since you have to have knowledge of every other class aoe and what to blast and what rotation to use, but it’s extremly fun. I have 4 alts, warrior, necro, ranger and thief and i play them too, but ele is my prefed class because it’s challenging. I love my other classes too don’t get me wrong, but ele is my no.1.

Since they changed tp, i can’t seem to find my transaction history on tp anymore. Did they removed it or i’m missing something?

You can get more money by selling mats then gear. Especially cloth. Salvage everything you don’t want to equip. Whites, blues, greens with green kit, sell yellow weapons, salvage yellow armor with yellow kit to get ectos. Exotics is your choice, sell or salvage for ectos, runes and sigils and globs of dark matter.

This is painfully true. About half a year ago i stopped to be hopefull while opening every champ chest, champ bag, bl chests and so on. For 2 and a half years i have been stressing out when will i get precursor, why is my acc cursed with bad luck and so on. Now, playing has become more fun because i don’t bang my head on brick wall called RNG.

I’m not bothered by mossman exploit, but the archdiviner one. My pug party wiped around 12 times for that stupid exploit where you stack on top of the wall, we could have done it 3 times allready normal way. When i suggested normal way they acted as if i insulted everybody’s mum.

No, you only can make it if you unlocked the corresponding recipe, you can’t use discover tab for ascended. Craft it, then you can change stats in mf, i think that would be least expensive option.

The funny part is that the price of the torch precursor (rodgort’s flame) went up quite a bit since torches were announced for warrior elite spec (berserker). XD

They already leave behind trails and have moving particle effects. They are free of currency and not so hard to get since they improved the drop rate

Staff, scepter and focus don’t have any trail and they have minimum particle effects compared to others. Not sure about mace. And drop rate is purely rng, haven’t heard they improved anything.

My friend told me about the game and then i looked for reviews, and found angry joe. Decided to buy the game after i saw it. No regrets.

But ofc he doesn’t have time to sit all day and play mmo-s, he makes a living off yt he has to create other content.
