I agree with op, but i have seen lots of “amg, double daily fractal again why a net whyyy” threads so i guess no triple fractal daily will happen. They can’t cater to every single type of player.

even if i join some random ts3 to play something in gw2 i never ever heard squeaky teen voices. Teens nowdays must be developing nicely. Voice wise.

I have staff and daggers in inventory in case of change but, i run scepter focus for a year now and i don’t plan to stop it because it’s by far the most fun weapon combo(for me). I stack stuff, i conjure, i can be close to boss without fear it will one shot me (focus for the win) and i also provide some protection for the team. And deal decent dmg.

Discover your most fun weapon combo and stick with it you’ll see it’s much more fun to play what you like than what somebody else wants.

Sometimes when i do something bad ingame and feel awful i go to quaggan kindergarten and swim with little ones ’till i feel batter.

edit: also: i once transmuted 2 armor sets to look the same, one was zerk, one was soliders and joined the most elitists party on lfg fractals lvl 50 who required meta zerk, i pinged zerk one but wore soliders. None of those pros noticed i run soliders.

I love all the warriors here but the most eye catchy for me are charrs, i see lots of beautiful ones, and i know how hard is to make a charr work different yet stylish. Gg guys.

I actually got 4 chests drops. 2 were berserker (coat and feet) and one was healer coat and condi legs. That did help me out a bit but still a lot of crafting to do to get multiple sets.

Also sorry I am new and only have 1 80 right now. So perhaps my post was premature but that doesn’t mean you have to be rude about it.

it took me over a month to craft my ascended light gear, materials are now cheaper and easyer to get, there is only 24 hours per piece limit. I really don’t see the problem. I don’t want to seem rude mate, i am just pointing out that with little waiting and gathering materials you can work miracles.

Oh look, one more thing everybody got for no reason and i got nothing!!

And I want a solid gold toilet but it’s just not in the cards now, is it?

I would not recommend to trade outside tp with strangers, this will get you scammed and if you trade via mail and get scammed, noting will get your money back.

as a veteran player his thread saddens me a lot.

I got torch precursor a few days back, my first precursor ever in 2 something years. I crafted around 12 rare gs, used my 8 mf stones, torch pre poped up. When tp took the fees, it left me with little less than 80 gold. So…yea

Probably equiping the b-day blaster while jumping and not losing the effect. My wild guess.

Do whatever you want to do. It is not rocket science, if you bought your game i assuse it’s because you want to have fun.

Want to test your skills against other players and lvl at the same tame? Go pvp in heart of the mist. You can gear up your charr to lvl 80, select trinkets for free and match them to your play stile (condi, zerk, solider….)

Do you like defending castles and forts, and try to invade enemy’s teritory, cutting supplies to them by owning champs in the name of your server? Then go wvw and do that.

You get scaled to lvl 80 automaticlly if you do things on these two locations i mentioned above so don’t worry. You are scaled and lvl your real lvl at the same time. Pvp rewards you with tomes a lot and you can use those to lvl also.

Since it’s your first carr i would suggest to complete maps and do pve. Why? Well…
1. Running around maps and exploring rewards you with exp
2. You have to pick every plant, tree or mining node, trust me, if you ever start to craft or sell them on tp and earn some goldz.
3. You are lvl 9 currently and you don’t know didlly about your class or traits since most of it is locked. Stick to pve untill you learn little more about your class and weapon possibility, see how it breathes, learn when to dodge.

Pve is the most forgiving, in pvp there is a possibility more experienced players will be put on the oposite team and trample you every time they see you. In wvw not no much if you are traveling in a zerg, but if you roam alone, the possibility of ganking is high.

Stick with pve for now, on lvl 10 you get to start personal story which is fun. Complete map, gather resources, earn some gold. When the time is right you’ll follow what you like. Is it gonna be wvw, pvp, pve, rp, something else, just give it a little time you’ll know when you decide.

The most important is to enjoy the game. Even if it means running shirtless in LA chasing asuras.

Rng hates me for 2. something years in this game, i doubt it will magicly start to work now in my favour. I’m gonna save myself from more disapointments.

there used to be two or three immobuluses on tp, now there is none for months. I whish i discovered it earlyer when giant eyes were 3 gold, now i can’t even buy a stack because there is no stack to buy off tp. Sad that you have better excess to ascended mats then rare ones.

It was allways a mystery to me why people are so fast in jumping to conclusions. We will see once they apply the changes, no need to be over dramatic.

I think we have prior issues in game then fixing fuman female running animations mate.

They should fix him and other fractal glitches when they fix the rewarding system that gives players (me included), or shall i better say it, doesn’t give players proper rewards especially on higher lvl fractals. I’m tired of not getting not even a ring on the end of the lvl 50.

I’ll stop glitching when the rewards become more then 3 blues and a green and a gold on the end of the 4 dungeon lenght run.

Today i made some rares from my t5 mats, made around 15 rares and had 8 mf stones. Got precursor for torch lvl 80 exotic scepter and lvl 75 shield. Sadly you can’t. Select a random path and hope it’s the one or try to remember what paths you missed.

I play on my toshiba for 2 something years now, running a decent 60-30 fps, only in world bossed it drops around 10. Buy a cooler it will help a lot.

Put a helmet on and problem solved. Or use total makeover kit and change skin and glow colour, maybe hair too to match the outfit. That’s the best you can do since scaling thing won’t happen.

Ele was my first charr i ever made ingame. I didn’t explore the class i just knew i wantes a sylvari ele. I was really surprised by my ele, i loved staff for a year, but then i discovered how awesome scepter/focus is. 2 and a half years later i have warr, ranger, necro and thief, did map completion on all of them, wvw pvp and pve. And i realised, if ele wasn’t my first charr i would probably never make one. Reason is because it’s hard to play class. Knowing your fields, and all other classes aoe in order to blast right and knowing when to blast, stacking boons and do so while being squishy.

I’m glad till today ele is my main because it’s really fun and challenging.

I guess everybody is so fast to forget so many times in the past when party leader rage quit and everybody was kicked from the instance. Also the fact instance owners had tendency to be gluteuses just because they couldn’t be kicked.

To make Blade Shards for mystic forge you need :
50 Watchwork Sprockets
1 Blade Shard
1 Pile of Shimmering Dust
1 Pile of Glittering Dust

Now just need about 1500 Sprockets. LOL, never ends.

I know it’s a pain, during scsrlet events it dropped like crazy i remember throwing away a few stacks after i made advanded spinal blades. Boy did i regreted it later. i’ll send you if i have any sprockets.

if you have at least 1 shard you can turn it into more shards, can’t remember the mf recipe. I remember doing so when i was making spineblades.

I guess standards of behaviour must be upheld, it can’t be helped.

I don’t have much gold ingame, i think highest i managed to gather is around 300. I don’t chase achievents, if they happen, they happen by accident. I mostly do stuff i want to do, few dungeons, little wvw and few pvp matches daily. Only thing i do allways when i log in is fractals 38 and 50. Sometimes i do world boss tour. I crafted one legendary, minstrel because i like how it looks. My long term goal right now is crafting immobulus but it will take some time because of giant eyes and gold. And like achievents, i do stuff i like to do and if i manage to gather a gold or two by doing that, nice. That’s why i enjoy playing gw2.

I got my fifth rifle today in lvl 50. Nice. I can now put it next to my 3 swords, 2 hammers, and 3 longbows in my bank.

I took a week break from gw2, came back and decided to do some fractals. I joined “lvl50 2nd, need second ele”
I play s/f might and fury.

It started bit weird, i joined on ascalon, first gate opened, looking at the map and vets dead along the several uncleared paths. I was wondering how did that happen and what happened to previous 2 members. That became clear soon.

Here is a little piece of glorious chat, we got fire shaman and they still kept arguing and arguing and arguing. I said to myself “nope” and left.

edi: the last insult is from mesmer not ele, i highlighted it in wrong colour because it was so much highlighting going on i got confused.

Anyway, you probably came to your warderobe to change your chars armor but forget about it once you saw a locked dye section and messed around with it, pressed apply to see if you can dye it in locked colours and…. voila.

I main s/f on my ele playing with that combo for allmost a year now, using it for dungeons and fractals. Switch to staff only for world bosses and whisp carrying in the swamp.

Ouch, sorry to see this but i doubt anet can do anything about it since third party is involved.

When i started playing i saved for a month to make myself two mystic daggers and i made them, after a long fractal around 2am i accidently salvaged one of them. I felt like crap. But nice guild member sent one to me after i qqed next day.

All i’m saying is… you would be suprised how please and thank you work miracles in pug groups. Try barking orders at strangers IRL and see what happens.
