Funny thing. People complain about not having enough ways to make gold, yet i get more gold then before just by playing a few fractals a day and HoT maps.

I extracted 14 of mine yet still i can’t tell you exact amount of silver i belive it’s 15 silver and if you have 2 infusions it extracts it both, item remains intact. Like Donari said, unlock first fractal mastery and you can teleport to vendor who sells it in fractals.

The question is not why, it’s why not? Because people will allways find something to complain about mate. It’s our nature.

I have about 5 chests in my bank of ascended armor plus one weapon chest. I salvaged one for a glob of dark matter of what is it called, for the collection ach. I salvaged around 30 rings, no globs. So, we are going to be forced to craft ascended to salvage it, in order to get legendary back? Because i expect we’ll be needing a butt load of globs for legendary back.

You can’t buy finished product, but you can buy mats for it (but not all) . You have to craft it yourself.

You need to complete first part of the hot story to unlock the masterys.

Did it with pugs, no lifesteal and about more than 30 seconds to spare. I think we missed one or two lasers.

When the price of the xpac is 20 bucks less then they put on official site, haven’t you paused for a miute thinking….. hey this sounds too good to be true?

As a person who used to run fractals since they started, comparing rewards then and now.. the loot is 10 times better now that it was before.

It’s not an accident. People are less competetive because everyone gets their share of the loot which does not depend on rolling or party leaders. And there are lot of mature veterans from gw1, and less 12yo and troll feeders.

Or you can, you know, take your time and not rush into content? There are several world boss timers online that let you keep track of them. And all of them are placed nicely one after another. While you wait for boss to spawn, you can, you know, gather stuff for literaly 5 min that takes the boss to spawn, of even less if you help with preevents (but that’s just too much work eh?) , earn some extra gold.

All of the world bosses can be done in under 4 hours. All of them.

I was logging in my necro in pvp, unlocked half of the skill wheel, but i got no gs skin like i got staff for my ranger or warhorn for my ele. I got to LA then, still nothing. Anyone with same problem?

Good thing we have xpac relesed for months so many people can answer that.

All crafting proffesions maxed out, 2 legendaryes, didn’t cost me a dime of real money. Maybe 600 gold in total that i sunk in presursors.

Missing dagger and focus. Didn’t had any skins drop for about 2 months at least. The tonic drop rate is even more ridiculous.

Secondly: What gold making options do you suggest to players who are sick of Silverwastes ?

Do world bosses and lvl 80 dungeons, buy rare cloth items for tokens and salvage. You get actos and mats. You can also buy rusttooth from tp and if you have decent amount of gold and 2-3 bl salvage kits you salvage it and sell sigil and ectos and earn about a gold or two per sword.

You know, making a pay pal in 10 min is way more simple then calling your bank and making a new credit card or lifting your restrictions and risking your account being hacked and whatnot. But that’s just me i guess

Well i doubt anyone will have giveaways any time soon, epecially when expansion is new and not relesed yet. Maybe in a few months, maybe sooner who knows.

In 3 years the most worthy things i got: 13 scraps, 3 SAB minis, 2 mail carriers (both were parrot) and around 4 minis that i sold for around 2 gold each. Cca 70-90 opened.

I was doing pvp today and there was this one thief that was the only one who knew what he was doing. So we ended up losing the match. After the fight i whisp him saying gg you were the only sane person on the map. Then he had some weird defensive attitude and then i couldn’t whisp him anymore. So i was scratching my head totally confused why would he block me? I sent him a mail saying: dude, i was complimenting you, you are playing pvp too much so toxicity rubbed on you. He unblocked me and said nobody never complimented him in pvp so he tought i was sarcastic, we laughed and went seperate ways

Around 15 chests, 0 keys. But only time i got keys were around 2 and a half years ago when i was doing map completions on my 4 chars. I dare to day not even 1 of these dropped from killing mobs ever.

^ this. If you like doing fractals it’s worth it. If you do it hoping for great riches, you will walk out dissapointed with a gold and 25 emperial fragments. Just yesterday i was talking how is funny how much uninfused rings i get off lvl 50 or getting nothing on the end.

Or, since it’s a game, and the goal is to have fun, and anything is subject to change, I petition the developers to alter the game such that I can earn the reward while doing things that I enjoy. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t, but it’s still better than just giving up.

So they must alter every single aspect to cater to every single player as they demand? That’s a mighty entitlement my friend.

Nah i just think they are nerfing it because they want people to buy xpac. More ways to earn gold in xpax, not so much in core game.

The thing is: it does. It can be great at everything, or it can suck in everything, depends how well you can play the class.

Just being curious, how are they going to handle the downloading on relese date. I hope it will not be downloaded all at once like 15 gigs on the same day because the servers are going to be a mess (low download speed/chrashes). Haven’t found anything on the forum regarding this.

For each character in Equipment > Finishers menu there is the “random finisher button”.

Why for Mail Carriers, Minipets and even Outfits, that button doesn’t exist?

I have lot of them and I’d like that sometimes they change randomly without going to manually edit it everything.

Because random finisher button is randomized between all the finishers, which means the ones you have and ones you don’t have.

That’s interesting because i’m sure i didn’t buy cow finisher. Or quaggan. Or llama. Or giant. Or any finisher to be honest. Yet while doing pvp i get all sorts of finishers while stomping and randomizer is on. I tought everyone has it like that. Can’t be a glitch can it?

Because random finisher button is randomized between all the finishers, which means the ones you have and ones you don’t have.

Imagine that with minipets, which you have to buy off tp for gold, random button would discurage collecting pets and spending gold/gems.

For mail carriers same as pets, but what’s the point in random button if you can allready select which one to use in just two clicks every time you plan on using it.

So…what back do you want? Fractal? Mawdrey? Quiver? You have to be little more specific. What do you like to do ingame?

Such a shame when games companies allow this elitism to rear it’s ugly head. It’s not like there is no precedent for how destructive to a game this is. There’s tons, lol.

Already legendary equipment is locked behind raids completely out of reach of the casuals, that 99% of the population (on WOW figures) who actually pay for this ****.

Not a design or decision that is going to add to my likelihood of sticking with the game.

Today i had the pleasure of doing fractal lvl 50 with a guard that provided nothing for our team but sadness and frustration for a whole run.

Raiding will eliminate that kind of players and that’s just fine. That will simply exclude everyone and their mom from having legendary items simply because they were there leeching from the group spamming 1 while rooted on one spot.

When worn, it will mean player went trough hell and back to have it. Not everyone will have it and it’s fine. Funny how people riot when they have to earn something with their skills rather then their wallets and feel entitled to get everything with minimal effort.

Sw. Breach, labirinth then cf, rinse and repeat. Low lvl dungeons like AC and CoF also gives you gokds + tokens. WvW is a bad way to get golds, but if you have loads of badges you can buy siege and sell it on tp.

Today, I went to do COE with a friend. I put an LFG for “Zerker, experienced, 80” as I’m not in the mood for carry. Joining us were an ele, a PS warrior and another engi. I started being skeptical seeing the ele rushing to the first champ wolf with her Ride The Lightning. As I watched her closely, she was camping Fire absolutely, doing nothing but spamming 1-2-3-4-5 in Fire attunement. So I whispered my friend “Wow, we got a condi ele huh? But she is awfully not optimized for burning.” My friend thought it was fine and I should be chill as we killed the boss smoothly in a reasonable time. After Subject Alpha, my curiosity went ahead of me: “Hey ele, are you zerker?” -“Yup” -“Can you ping your weapons please?” -“[Incinerator][Incinerator]”. The group started clamoring “So, you want us to ping our stuff huh?”, “#DungeonRunSeriousBusiness”, “Why asking for zerker when you play ranger…”. By then, I calmly told them “How’s about you all check out her weapons before flaming me? Her legendary doesn’t even have any selected stats and her transmuted one is actually from TA and not zerker… Excuse me for asking people to respect my LFG!”. It then began the longest awkward silence to the last boss and my friend repeatedly begged me not to kick anyone. With that, I just sighed and told him to remake our group for the next path even though my friend resisted with his reason that the run had been smoothly and we both never went down anyways…

tl;dr – Friend ragequit after 3 paths of CoE because of my elitism to pugs. R.I.P Friendship

Every time i come a cross of any of your posts i thank god you are not on EU.

Today was the first time in a loong time somebody failed mid lane in sw. Much hate on map chat. Other day teq also allmost failed. Probbably a lot of new players.

Just had to drop out of my fractal 50 party because i didn’t want to drag them down. This week is horrible. Lag lag lag dc then i can’t join back, when i manage to return, nothing is respinding, i get dc again, then the client isn’t even loading. Sick and tired of it. Restart game, resrart pc, restart router, nothing works. It’s not me.

I pug allmost everything, and i never ancountered this kind of people in 3 years.

You seem to forget that gw2 IS still mmo, full of different people, there is elitism, trolls and much more like in any other mmo, along with friendly people. Somehow you think gw2 is some magical place where everybody all the time shoot rainbows from their behinds. Just like in real life, unrealistic expectations lead to major disapointents.
But gw2 community in this day and age still has one of the best communities out there. I made quite a few really good friends during this three years.
