You can’t get hit by a trap or static field if you don’t move. We don’t need any changes that promote passive play. There’s already enough standing around and doing nothing in WvW.

We’d have moved a long time ago if we could keep our guild perks. But we’d be screwing over our PvErs if we lost our guild mission unlocks. Cost isn’t the concern.

It makes no sense for any publisher/developer to back this.

Honestly, the game runs out of solo content once you get to 80.

Meta event chains, champ train, living story, wvw/spvp all require other people to be successful. Pretty much what you can do at 80 as a solo is the same thing you could do at 10 as a solo, there’s nothing new that opens up to you.

If you have 100% map completion or even 90+% map completion with wvw maps left and have completed your personal story up to Arah, you’re done with what the game has to offer a solo. Congratulations!

Now... I am EU player in NA server and I am not in NA servers to PvD I am here because my old guild from GW1 and even it it disband few months ago SoR is my home server like it to you or not. I am not going any other server because you think NA has no place for EU guilds or players. But let me ask why EU has to be separated from NA servers? Correct me if im wrong but the servers from NA and EU are in the same country?

Also, you make it sound like if IRON was the first EU guild that transfer from EU servers to NA servers... like if there was not RG and other guilds before from EU in NA servers before?

You’re taking my post way out of context. Probably pretending to be angry for the sake of trolling but I’ll bite.

I have no problems with EU players playing in the NA bracket. You have friends here and you’re loyal to them, there is nothing wrong with that. I do have a problem with entire guilds moving from EU to NA bracket to avoid competition as IRON did. The consensus is that EU hosts the best guilds, somewhat validated by RG destroying the NA guilds when they moved over for a month. IRON could have stayed and fought them in EU but they moved here to ’fight’ a SEA guild that only had about 20 players. To be blunt, they ran away from superior competition and came here to farm bags off disorganized militia. IRON was also the first dedicated guild to move to NA bracket, RG came later and only stayed for a few weeks.

I would also like to see a combined bracket with US and EU, that way we don’t have these coward guilds throwing everything out of whack. It’s never going to happen tho.

I’m sorry but I agree with BG’s perspective in regards to the euro transfers.

OCE and SEA are in a completely different boat. They don’t have a region of their own to play on so they choose to come to T1 NA. FoO/ATM and WM aren’t here to do PvDoor, they want to fight. It’s unfortunate that very few people(NYS/SAHP/ND) will stand up to fight them . You can’t hold them responsible because their enemy won’t show up.

EU has it’s own region tho and by most accounts it’s a far more competitive region than NA. IRON had the best competition the game offers and instead choose to run here to face a non-existant enemy. It would be like TW choosing to transfer to Piken’s Square. I’m sure that’s something you’ve never considered because it’s absurb, almost as absurb as IRON choosing to transfer to SoR.

All the EU transfers beyond that were the result of IRON’s action. You can’t hold BG responsible for recruiting guilds to compete and you can’t hold SoR responsible for IRON giving up and moving back to EU.

My one request to everyone in this tier is that you please stop recruiting EU guilds. It doesn’t make this tier any better. If those guilds want to fight they’d stay in EU, they only reason they come here is for the gold and the PvDoor. We already have enough PvErs to deal with.

SoR dominated Tier 1 when IRON showed up and had no competition.
BG dominated Tier 1 when IRON went awol and ZDs had no competition.

WvW is in a sad state of affairs when 1 Euro is worth about 20 NA. Who remembers when Ruin left ET and dominated Euro ladder for a month because they had no competition. Its really pathetic that were all at whim of guilds that would rather PvD than fight against other players.

WvW is won by cowards.

You can’t argue with their dedication. There were times when I was working on the merc achievement and would pass a fully upgraded tower with 2 scouts in it. Two scouts in a spawn tower when both enemy servers have maybe 5 people on the map combined, that’s dedication.

Can’t wait for the season 2 version, gonna be the most epic 7 minutes of warg zerging the world has ever seen.

Rewards in this game are all mental. You can do everything in blues. Those people that are doing the champ farm are just wasting their time, don’t make their mistake.

Also agree with not getting a tag.

Tag attracts tons of lvl 20 upleveled rally bait. Don’t use it.

How would you even go about calculating these numbers?

My Ranger’s Rapid Fire tops out at just under 15k. With 5 targets from arrow piercing and quickening zephyr, its about 75k damage in 2 seconds and that’s not factoring in the pet. Of course if I’m in CoE and stacked under subject alpha I’m useless.

imagine how great this game would be if you could progress the way you wanted. Imagine being able to buy ascended gear with badges, glory, or karma. Imagine being able to buy a precursor for 2 million karma or 1000 of each dungeon. token. Imagine how popular and vibrant the game would be again. Imagine if gem store wasn’t the only concern.

Tarnished Coast is the best server if you want to wear a dress and do tea party.
Blackgate hosts the best PvE players and has the strongest coverage in WvW.
Anvil Rock hosts the best sPvP players.

I think someone forgot mercs only exist on EB.

They’re on a 4 month delay for updates which puts the creation date of these achievements somewhere in early July. I do believe Quaggans were still there back then.

Both of you obviously have never fought with Fannwong in the Oceanic timezone before. Fannwong has been fighting with us during Oceanic/SEA prime time despite TW transferring to JQ for a week back in the days. He is also one of our prime commanders during the SEA/Oceanic timezone and has gone to great lengths to rally the sometimes beleaguered Rallians in a timezone that we are the weakest in.

I would suggest you get to know the man better before you judge him based on the guild that he is in.

I know Fannwong, he’s a good guy. I also know TW’s leader, he’s a kitten.

I obviously don’t hold any ill will towards Fannwong because of the guild he’s in. Unlike Indo who contacts my guild leader and tells him to kick me because he doesn’t like me.

EotM 1-5 – Full for A/B/C
EotM 6-7 – Full for A/B

Most of the players on the overpopulated server won’t have anyone to fight against. They’ll get their choice of 4 empty borderlands or an empty EotM map.

Used to be. But alas, people haved moved on.

It’s hard to be a rivalry when one side clearly dominates the other.

Not nearly as bad as people make them out to be.

They’re a walking water field with 20 seconds of stability, 6 seconds of invulnerability, and their own instant blast.

Axe/Torch + Sword/Warhorn with celestial gear, run with the melee train. You’re not going to be as strong as your heavy counterparts but you’re not useless.

Imagine you went to your eye doctor to correct your sight. He insists that he can do laser eye surgery but once you’re on the table he elects to just remove your eye balls and replace them fluffy dice instead.

Don’t worry tho, you can have your eyes back. That is if you’re willing to pay for them

I don’t know what everyone here is complaining about; I found my s1 rewards to be quite unique!

As soon as I opened the Season 1 Rewards Chest, an Anet Dev personally hopped out of the chest, kicked my character in the nuts, and then a laugh track played for about 10 minutes while he made “yo momma” jokes at my expense! Oh, and I got a temporary Dolyak Finisher. Great job, Anet!

It’s going to be an extra kick in the nuts when you realize you won’t even be able to use your limited use finisher on SoR since we’re now in T2.

Sometimes it’s really so frustrating to play this game. Whenever I log in I’m already depressed of the thought facing the cheese specs in tourney’s. A warrior can eat a full churning earth without any problem but I can’t take 3 auto attacks from a kitten hammer.

You guys want an adjustable gvg tournament bracket and they’re still trying to figure out if 1 comes before 2 in a proper working queue system.

Ascended turns 9k damage into 10k damage but it doesn’t change a 2 second stun into a 2.2 second stun.

All the skills in the game need to be reworked as is, but is it going to happen? Nope.

My opinion is this:

Four months ago they fixed the Temple of Lyssa encounter. By fixing it, I mean they added a big kitten gorilla that one shots people with invisible rocks.

Scripted agony sucks but its better than being killed by invisible rocks.
