There are a number of decent rangers, but a vast majority in WvW are TERRIBLE. The ranger being a harder class to master/traits in too many trees to be effective makes the unskilled ranger much more prominent in portraying rangers as being poor in WvW.
Most of these rangers stay in longbow, don’t know how to dodge, mostly stand still and die so fast since they are in full zerker with full damage traits and no survivability. We all know these bowbear rangers who are so predictable that they may as well be a PvE monster. If you die to this type of player, you are either terrible or fell asleep on your keyboard. They are that bad.
Good rangers can and will engage in melee and be effective at it. I’ve seen some decent dual bow users too, but they are extremely few and far between. Most exceptional rangers will use swords/dagger or sword/torch. These type of rangers can 1vsX or escape situations and even mob trains with their various types of escape/dodges. They are great at kiting the enemy around while maintaining their survivability. Greatsword allows for this too, but not nearly as well as the sword/x weapon ranger.
Like what many people have said as well, the ranger class is good 1vs1 and do have a place in zerg skirmishes if they are utilized to hone in on staff eles on enemy zergs, beyond that they aren’t used nearly as much since the water field, while great, is on too long of a cool down to be as useful as other classes who do it better.
Condi engis are harder to deal with than a condi necro – well the ones that know how to play and switch kits anyways.
My vote goes to Coolet of the [Ph] guild. When Kaineng was on its downfall, this guy would single handedly command for hours upon end and take back almost everything. The zerg wouldn’t wipe, he would respond to attacks quickly, know when things needed to be let go and take something else. Truly one of the best commanders I’ve had the pleasure of following. I don’t know if he still plays, but if he does, he is amazing. Other Doritos knew and respected him so much that when he tagged up, we all knew it would be a karma train/bag fest and other Doritos would tag down if he didn’t ask for another group to havoc/lead. We almost always went from owning like 2 things in EB to 75% of the map whenever he commanded.
Jang Gun of [WM] was also great, but Coolet is on a tier higher.

Absolutely! I play all of my characters now and have even bought more gemstore stuff to fit my characters in wvw/pvp. It is so much more fun knowing how much more I can contribute to wvw with account wide exp.
My pets get demolished. Please fix.
The OP presents nothing resembling a credible argument. The OP is strictly resistance to change whining. Change is the only constant. Adapt of die.
This is no different than the 2v1 whines. Endure and overcome.
Or else, find something else to satisfy your need for accomplishment and self-efficacy.
Pretty much this. OP’s original message is a zerk pure dmg dealer whine more than adapting. Many small man’s group have compensated and adjusted their play style while still maintaining their functionality or even improved it. Just because your old tactic isn’t nearly as effective, doesn’t mean they haven’t built other concepts to even help zerg busting groups. Not our fault OP won’t adapt.
Original post is a WHY DID YOU NERF CRIT DMG, OH NOES I CAN’T one or 2 hit no more MY WORLD IS ENDING!!!!
Honestly I think this has been one of the best patches. Thanks for all your hard work as most of these changes have made me fall in love with the game again. Thanks again!
More deserted boss fights like Tequatl and Wurm Trio?
Sounds like an awesome idea! Make those places and the whole open world even more barren!
With that move, more people will focus on all the other stuff this game has to offer – wich equals pretty much playing another game…
This so much, especially for people in lower tier servers. Someone made a great suggestion, make it instanced if it requires Wurm level type of coordination. Teq isn’t too bad, but still requires a decent number of people who need a pretty decent knowledge base of the dynamics. It is so depressing to see this boss being ignored on lower population servers.
I’ve done Wurm and Teq multiple times but have had to guest on overflows and other servers to do it. That does not sound right to me. If it requires that type of coordination, make it instanced. My 2 cents.
I don’t think it will happen either, but who knows. There is such a kitten for Teq/Wurm dynamic that leaves the zones empty and barren.
Good content = Marionette, not overly frustrating and does not require everyone to be on teamspeak. Somewhat challenging and yet you feel rewarded.
Wurm/Teq = It’s great the first time and then it becomes tedious when you realize you have to use cheap tactics like ogre whistles and embers to guarantee your win. The most depressing thing is how empty the zone becomes, especially when you are on a low tier server and you have to guest on another server/overflow to insure that everyone on the map is doing the boss and that it’s coordinated. If they wanted to do this, it should have been instanced. I guess that would affect marionette too, but at least in that case, you could survive if even half the participants didn’t need to run a specific build.
HoD is definitely middle tier, maybe 4 at best, based on gameplay last night. We all know Eternal is, more often than not, PuG city but this was beyond bad [Bags] and some Airstrike guild kept wiping and wiping and not adapting their playstyle. Played like 2 hours last night and they were HORRIBLE. Their main zerg ran hammer trains that were so disorganized that they wiped to a much smaller zerg of CD’s like 5 times. It was embarrassing. They didn’t even go after the elementalists in the back crushing them with ice bow showers and meteor storms. We just laughed each time when 2 elementalists kept decimating them. We also dropped null fields and wells in front of their feet and they just melted. They have no one going after the back line.
I mean hammer trains are a valid strategy, but if this is the only strategy they employ it’s good game. So easy to beat nowadays, especially with such bad organization. This server will implode if it doesn’t adapt. HoD will have a tough time against FA, IoJ, SBI, and YB that know how to deal with hammer trains easily.
They do have some good guilds [WAR], [KoME], [ERP], [FKB], {BRL], [Bsty] that will keep them up there for the NA time slot though.
(edited by Phantasmal.5631)
I tried BLK farming for 2 hours and it was the most boring thing ever. It was so tedious that I would say more power to the BLK farmers. You probably kill brain cells just by running it twice.
Highly doubt HoD is that good. Their pugs and disorganization will just lead to an implosion fast, unless they some how manage to get commanders on the same page, and prevent tunnel visioned pug k trains
Pretty much this. There are a lot of PUGS out there who are up leveled and die in 1 to 2 hits in HoD, so it’s obvious they are in zerker gear. These same players also can’t fight or dodge or even use basic invuln/stun breaks to literally save their lives. I think this will be HoD’s downfall and why they will probably be middle of the pack. This will be rally bot city. I can only imagine these PvE’rs complaining loudly in map chat as well.
We’ve all seen these players with bad attitudes that won’t change up their PvE fighting style and/or armor to learn WvW first and just become rally bots. Granted they will probably improve over time or leave WvW altogether, but with some nice looking weapons being dangled in front of their face, they will populate WvW like never before. We all know zerker gear is fine with certain builds and classes, but the skill level and utilities you need to take to survive/be effective are beyond what most of these PvE’rs who are new to WvW have.
I know at CD we have a ton of them too and map chat can be a dramedy at times.
Glad to hear this is going in. Hoping the game can recover from the damage of the silence, then late announcement. And keeping fingers crossed that all goes well with this huge patch when the time comes.
-Glad my time between S1 and S2 was not wasted after all.
With the huge number of quality of life changes and skill balance in PvE/PvP/WvW, there is probably going to be 2 or 3 patches every day for the next two weeks after April 15. Great changes and definitely a step in the right direction
So “you will have the same number of points to spend on each of your characters”.
Does that mean that each character has the maximum points determined by how much wxp is in your account? For example, a 100 ranger and 50 engineer are now in a pool and they each can spend 150 OR
Each character pulls from the same pool and it divides the total? For example, a 100 ranger and a 50 engineer are pooled and each can now spend 75?
All of your characters world exp will be combined. The combination of world exp will go to ALL of your characters each having that same WvW exp to use individually.
For example: An account has 3 characters. Character A with 100 WvW rank and Char B with 150 rank and Char C with 1 rank. Char A through C individually will probably get to have 247 WvW points to use in their skills. You have to keep in mind that even though the total rank is 251 there, you won’t get 251. The lower ranks require much less WvW exp and therefore since it takes TOTAL exp, it isn’t as simple as adding WvW ranks individually.
WHOOO HOOOO. Finally!
I’m glad they finally announced an official date. Better late than never. I know some friends are getting interested a bit in coming back. I know some that have left permanently for ESO due to the wait, but at least I will have at least 10 friends interested in coming back for Season 2.
About 40 have left permanently thanks to the delays and waiting so long.
I really hope tomorrow is the big day for WvW. If they don’t announce account wxp, i fear for the future of this game. The suspense is killing me !!!!!!!!!
Don’t hold your breath too long. It’s been 6 months and counting for a lot of people.
1) FA
2) IoJ
3) SBI
4) YB or HoD – HoD has some pretty bad organization at times and so many up level pvers that obviously run in full zerker gear. It’s literally a free bag fest when you see up levels there. These players will probably be the downfall of HoD as they will be free rally bots in zerg vs zerg battles. I do have to say that they have some pretty good guilds that have great response times. Really a wild card.
6) CD
7) NSP
8) BP
9) SoR
Honestly, instead of giving an unidentified dye for each duplicate they should just give you that specific dye back as item you can sell. ESPECIALLY for people who bought more than one of the expensive dyes like Pyre and other limited event dyes.
I agree 100%, but if that’s not possible for technical reasons they should at least give you one unidentified one from that set of the same rarity.
If nothing changes players (like me) will be greatly rewarded for having unlocked a ton of common dyes. I think I have 1-2 rare dyes that’ll overlap, but a TON of commons.
Players that have multiple gem shop dyes and abyss on multiple characters will be out quite a bit of gold/RL $.
That’s really not fair and not how they should treat their customers.
I have multiple expensive dyes on multiple characters (Pyre, Flare, Abyss, Celestial, Vincent, Divinity, etc) and if all of my characters get access to it, I would gladly sacrifice not getting another copy to sell for the sake of the greater of good of other players. I enjoyed having it on the characters their on, but having access to it on all characters would be icing on the cake. I really don’t mind taking a hit on having purchased many of these dyes including the real $$ I spent in obtaining some of them.
But that’s just me, I’m sure other people have different thoughts.
They will release it in 2060 and then when they cannot meet that deadline, they will go silent and say they will release it in the year 2100.
No – Wurm/Tequatl events make for dead zones and is not fun content unless it’s instanced. Even then it requires use of items like FE powder and other gimmicky dynamics. NOT FUN and even when you succeed the zone utterly feels empty and dead.
Lack of WvW changes and broken promises/huge delays (WvW account wide xp, Precursor scavenger hunt, etc). Causes distrust and people leaving for other games.
Also, there are so many new currencies that even with max bags, bank, etc I have no space for anything else.
Lack of balance for classes and the berzerker only mentality is killing any creative thought process. Let’s see if the new patch makes for more interesting class make-ups.
Yes – Quality of life changes, nice new armors, and gemstore items that do make me purchase them. However, the 400 to 500 gem items are overpriced. I also like most of the new fractal introductions and changes. However, dredge needs to go.
while I had no healing to offer, no health to tank any stray AoE, no low CD CC to provide, no conditions to reliably put, I still had my damage to give in a teamfight when everyone turned theirs eyes away from me.
Putting aside for moment that I actually agree that condition builds were already very strong periphary, and that there was no reason for them to get stronger in relation to power builds, and that many of them are disproportionately easy to play, it sounds like you are misunderstanding the role of your own class. Of the top reasons an organized group takes staff eles,
1. Healing Rain / Cleansing Water
2. Geyser
3. Static Field
4. Lava Font
5. Frozen Ground
6. Meteor ShowerNone of the five most important spells are for dealing damage. Staff Ele is primarily a support character. If anything the ferocity nerf will help you die less quickly to power-based gank.
This SO much! A zerk staff ele is there as a SUPPORT role for the front line members. We will still be strong regardless in a support role. What’s not to like?
warrior vs good players are incredibly underpowered….to most classes they don’t stand a chance at all….anet, pls stop fullfilling the casual pve players wishes…they won’t make the game exist for long…they will hop to any newly released game… you need the dedicated playerbase in order to make gw2 last as long as gw1…nor does the casual player support the gemstore enough….for they are casual…. the warrior needs a tremendous buff in order to stand a chance against the better players….community, please stop lying…the warrior is far…FAAAAAAAR from overpowered
Please, you can afk as a warrior and win thanks to healing signet. You can take zerker stance and be immune to conditions and spam hammer f1, then 3, then 4, then 5. You can use Endure pain and also trait for endure pain to have over 10 seconds of invuln if they manage to even get you to 25%. With a shield you can be pretty much invuln for another 8 seconds. By the time this cycle is over you start your rotation again and be at FULL hp. GG.
Don’t even get me started on warriors with perplexity runes using hammer, mace/shield. Talk about OP that build is it, it stacks 21+ confusion EASILY.
I love rally bots. It should be kept in game. Most of these are terrible PvE players who are in pure zerk gear. It teaches them to learn how to dodge, use invulns, or learn how to mitigate damage.
This is a different mode in game and PvE’rs need to adapt accordingly. The game is easy mode enough as it is.
Big difference from T1 and T2, he’s in T1 against large zergs.
There are a number of decent ranger commanders out there, but it’s few and far between thanks to the utilities and survivability that guards/warriors/necros bring to the front line.
I can count 5 on BG that command as rangers and 2 are terrible. One of the terrible commanders is in a pure zerker build in the front line. LOL.
In samanosuke’s case, it’s obvious he knows what tactics to use, when to pull back, when to ask for essential skills, etc. Props to you samanosuke! Even more impressive with that lag.
(edited by Phantasmal.5631)
That was some really great commanding with great teammates to back you up. I’m amazed you can read the other zerg so well considering the lag you’re getting. Awesome stuff and really great teammates. For once it isn’t a guard/warrior/necro commanding and a ranger for once. Nice stuff.
I must suck
I play all of my alts regardless of their WXP rank. TBH there are a lot more serious issues in this game right now and some of those have been caused by the shortsighted whining of the player-base so I have a hard time feeling much sympathy for those who’ve been told something is already in the works but can’t take the wait.
It’s not short sightedness at all by the player base. Unless all you do is join the zerg train, then the nuances of having guard leech and guard stat line buffs are HUGE with classes with a low vit. It means having the ability of easily taking on 2 to 3 more people and knowing you can take 2 or more burst hits. That is HUGE when you are roaming.
If you don’t roam and all you do is join the zerg, yeah then you won’t feel it or will feel it’s negligible. The only other thing that is more pressing to fix are the hacks going around so prevalently in WvW.
There is no other pressing matter. So many players have quit/are moving on/moved on because they don’t want to be pigeonholed playing one character or be at a significant disadvantage/hinderance to their teammates if they decide to play their alts. Also WvW accound wide xp has been annouced over 5 months ago. Backpack ascended items have been announced for nearly as long. Change in WvW achievement points have been announced even longer. Has any of these announcements made it in game? No. So you can see the frustrations that we haven’t gotten anything in WvW besides EOTM which is now slowly becoming a dead zone. Awesome stuff.
(edited by Phantasmal.5631)
OP has the worst and dumbest suggestion ever. Really now, a boss that requires team speak and lots of coordination in a STARTER zone if it gets changed like Teq/GJW? Are you serious?
(edited by Phantasmal.5631)
ESO mass PvP looks interesting.
Their PvP isn’t bad at all. It’s pretty fun once you figure out where to go and how to get there. Group PvP synergies are pretty awesome there as well.
I suggest you try it out. It’s one of the few things that should entice people to play ESO.
I mean it’s pretty obvious Anet doesn’t care about WvW with a non-release of the WvW account exp we’ve been waiting for in quite some time now. This game mode for Gw2 is pretty much dead.
(edited by Phantasmal.5631)
WvW Account wide exp introduced December 1, 2099?
Guard nerf really??? 25 seconds for a skill that is extremely buggy (ie the pet doesn’t guard and just stands still while the enemy sits in the guarded circle). You have to trait shouts give swiftness to even make it remotely useful. Its animation also takes forever and is easily interrupted. I have no clue what they are thinking. Terrible.
Would be nice if we can get a confirmation on date for account bound xp.
Someone said December 21 2050.
Hey everyone,
For our upcoming CDI projects, we would like to collect your ideas for professions that need balancing. Since there are 8 professions, we would like to do one at a time and would like you to vote on which one comes first.
Please pick the three professions that you feel need the most help right now and list them in order of priority like so:
Example
1. Profession1 (this needs the most help by far)
2. Profession2 (this needs help, but not more than 1)
3. Profession3 (this needs help, but not more than 1 & 2)Please keep your post to just your 3 votes. If you have any questions, you may ask them here as well.
We will collect the information at the end of the day tomorrow (5:00pm pacific), so make sure to get your vote in before then!
Thanks!
1. Ranger (Easily by far, the WORST class and you have to do so much more to play to the level of other easy mode classes (Warrior and Guardian)
2. Engineer
3. Elementalist
Almost zero since Scarlet Arc is ending in two patches, I doubt very much that they will head over to SAB before April 1st.
I miss SAB, I hope that Moto would sell the kitten ed weapon plans! I have so many trinkets but no plans to make the weapons
I dont’ know what Largos is, so I vote for quaggan
This is a Largos.
I vote Panda….
It depends how this is implemented.
If it is the living story and I can kill other people doing the living story there, this will be all kinds of epic.
If it is regular WvW that has an increased number of living story events, it will not be popular.
I would LOVE and I mean LOVE it if we are able to kill other people in there!
It’s really the player and not the class. I’ve seen plenty of great rangers in Marionette, but the awful ones are TRULY awful. This is more prevalent in Boss #2 where they fail to lure the boss into mines. It is more the ranger himself running around in a circle AWAY from the boss instead of INTO luring the boss into the mine by standing between a mine and a boss. This isn’t limited to the class itself as I’ve seen so many not so smart players who would waste 45 seconds running around and not luring into the boss. It would usually take 3 or 4 people yelling obscenities at the other player to get them to stop wasting time. Usually that offending player stops to type something and dies allowing the other players to properly engage the boss.
The reason why rangers get pinpointed the most is because it is more likely that it is indeed a Longbow ranger with a brown bear in tow not knowing what to do or flat out refusing to listen. It’s the bad players putting the spotlight on rangers and the pets, when it’s really just the player who doesn’t understand how to play the class.
If anything, those with higher APs are more likely bad players, as they go off gallivanting through living story “updates” completing every achievement included, and prance through the jumping puzzle and generally just do through everything but dungeons in order to get more APs.
An example, someone I’m “forced” to play with has about 200 less than me, and I’ve played for many more months than him, he is horrendous in dungeons because he messes about focusing on trying to +1 everybody with APs.
I’ve found the opposite true. Those with lower AP’s tend to be much worse in dungeons than those with higher AP. The ones with higher AP are much more reliable in terms of able to dodge, block, or kite even if they do not know the instances quite well.
Consequently, I’ve also seen those with high AP to be TERRIBLE at WvW and PvP but most will say they do PvE content only – which makes sense. High AP usually mean dungeon runners and PvE content, but not always true either.
This game is so much fun! It takes awhile to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it’s easily one of the best of the mini games.
There’s a number of things that made my friends quit. The worst offender is the RNG aspect of a lot of things, but in particular the precursor aspect side of things. To a lot of them, a part of the journey for that “legendary” is a long worthwhile quest to get there, not a lucky forge from the Mystic Toilet. It’s not legendary if that core weapon isn’t something they had in the beginning or had something they worked at in their journey and not something that is dependent on RNG. Buying it off the TP holds no inherent meaning for them except that it is insulting that they have bad luck.
WvW: WvW xp not being account bound, no ETA on when that change is happening, for all they know it’s 2016. The rewards are terrible there (See Season 1 Reward chest) and since GW2 has 3 different aspects, it alienates them and makes them feel like 3rd class citizens for getting such horrendous rewards for so much work.
It also doesn’t feel like they listen to any input regarding WvW.
PvE: Like what a lot of people mentioned, it’s all about maximizing gold and in doing time gated content. Dungeons are also boring and it makes no sense that CoF is the easiest dungeon instead of AC. It took me a while to validate to a friend that dungeons are super easy since AC was his first dungeon and he Pugged it with horrific results. After showing him CoF he was puzzled as to why AC was so much harder than CoF P1. It doesn’t make sense to me either.
PvP: I LOVE that they are rewarding players with silver and gold. It makes it feel like you’re efforts are being rewarded. I hope WvW follows a similar path, but I know that will never happen after the terrible rewards of Season 1.
Regarding classes: There is so much love for warrior and guardians. Other classes get neglected in the process (See RANGER and Engineer). The skill ceiling for these two classes are much higher than the others.
For a game that is supposed to encourage you to diversify traits and builds, it favors Berserker builds the most. It’s so broken and boring – particularly in PvE. Do something that discourages zerker builds, ie giving mobs perma retaliation. Make champ bosses have perma retaliation or something like that. Anything that will allow for diversification would be welcome.
I do pvp from time to time, but it is kind of boring. Its always capture the points and like WvW its currently zerging with one or two people maybe capturing points/back capping.
The other problem is that people QUIT as soon as you are down 50 points. That point lead is not insurmountable, but a lot of people still quit. There is no penalty for people leaving and it really hurts the gameplay of tPvP. I do wish they do something else besides capture the points and bunkering them because it has gotten super stale.
Who could ever hate my lovable norn?
Those nips/nipples!! Hawwt!
Rangers fare fine in roaming. Try sword/dagger and GS and you won’t have problems. Sword/dagger and axe/torch is great too and so is Sword/dagger and LB or SB. It’s all about learning your dodges and blocks and how to play the sword.
Rangers are not terrible, it’s the mantra of using LB for everything that is giving the perception that rangers are terrible. Why kitten yourself to a weapon that is slow and fairly clunky. Try other things and you’ll see that the rangers are not as terrible as what people are making them out to be.
I managed to get friends and other players who generally just PvE come and try something different. They liked it and played hard and contributed 5+ hours every day that they could. Now that they received their rewards, they all laughed at how terrible the rewards were in the chest. One guy said he gets way more than that from a Scarlet event worth 30 minutes of his time. Needless to say, they won’t touch WvW again and there’s nothing I can say to defend ANet’s WvW team.
It’s a total slap in the face with the rewards that we got. I mean come on! It’s disgustingly bad. We averaged 2 rares each and like 6 greens. No one got even an exotic. We got a range of 2.85 to 5.3 silver. Umm, yeah. Totally atrocious for something that lasted 7 weeks.
The rewards were truly horrendous. It’s akin to getting coal for Christmas. They could at least give us like 10 laurels or something. Two yellows and 6 to 8 greens is terrible. It seems like the WvW team is so out of touch with everything.
Not quite sure how they got more expensive, they cost the same amount of Euro that they always did. Buying Gems with Gold does not support the game, so it’s only logical that the more they can get to spend real world cash on Gems, the better.
We should be happy that we can even convert Gold to Gems in the first place. It allows for playing the game completely free—past the initial purchase of the game—while still being able to get stuff in the cash shop. Obviously enough, a larger amount of the playerbase does not spend real-world cash on Gems, and if they do, they do not convert them into Gold. The Gems:Gold ratios are (probably through some tweaking on ArenaNet’s side too mind you) mainly based on how many players that converts Gold to Gems, and how many that convert Gems to Gold. If more players convert Gems to Gold, the Gold to Gems cost goes down, the more that spends Gold for Gems, the more Gold those converting Gems gets. You can probably blame those that are not wanting/able to support the game with real-world transactions for these increasing costs.
On the same line of thinking, that 25% hike in price for a one time one piece skin (grenth, reindeer) is absolutely noticeable from anyone’s point of view. That’s a steep increase and yes, I know many guild mates and myself who are frowning upon such a huge increase when we are using real money to help support the game. It kind of leaves a bad taste in your mouth to see such a huge price increase and makes me not want to support Anet if they are going to keep increasing prices.
If they do increase prices then let those who purchase gems with real money get more bang for their buck by giving bonus gems or giving us more gems when we purchase gems using real money. Inflation of gold in game has increased dramatically, and yet the amount of gems we purchase using real money is still the same and yet gem prices for items has increased. It makes me NOT want to use real money to buy gems.
The grenth helm and the reindeer helm cost too much in terms of gems. It went from 400 gems on the one piece to 500 gems for unique one item skins in 2.5 weeks. That is crazy. That’s a 25% jump in price. If you’re paying with real money, that seems obscene for one piece of armor.
really ?!
so condition builds who invest in just one stat to do damage are already crying about power builds that need to invest in 3 stats to do damage leaving them with med to no defense at all ?
What you said is absolutely FALSE. Condition damage has a HARD cap of 25 STACKS. It’s fine if its one player putting conditions, but when its 2 players stacking conditions they are handicapping each other in doing so. In a zerg its even worse, you are essentially doing CRAP. Everyone and their mother knows that Power builds are OP compared to condition builds due to the hard cap of 25 stacks in a zerg setting. Plus a ton of mobs have very shortened durations on conditions!
Power damage is independent of any other player actions whereas condition damage is GREATLY affected by how many other people are applying the same conditions.

Thanks for the video. It was a fun view and I enjoyed the staff elementalist play you exhibited.
I really think a merchant that would allow us to exchange ascended mats (Dragonite, bloodstone shards, and empyreal dust) should be implemented.
A lot of my guildmates and myself included do not have a lot of dragonite, but have plenty of the other two materials. With ascended armor crafting coming up, I think a merchant that allows us to exchange the mats would be a Godsend.
Since bloodstone dust is the most abundant, a ratio of 5 bloodstones to 1 dragonite ore would be great and 3 empyreal dust for 1 dragonite ore would help in dragonite ore shortage for players.
Thanks for listening.
