I kinda agree to that. If we would play another class with the effort and skill we play ele wed prob be overpowered. Im not saying ele is completely underwhelming but much classes have more natural advantages. And we have to just suck it up. A lower base attunement recharge would be a good change but won’t completely solve our problem im afraid.
We need an elite that others want to avoid at all cost. Not something that makes us a joke (talking about tornado here)
Was it the damage that it did unblockable or the projectiles thay it reflected?
Maybe switch to s/f and swap frostbow for mistform? You will have 2 invurnarabilities and more range to keep you out of harm. And I don’t know if you use it but sigil of energy will also increase your chances.

You might want to try scepter it is better in stacking bleed and burning. And your power is painfully low. Maybe try to squeeze some more power.
Also you could use superior sigil of corruption. But to be honest I think it would be better to focus more oon direct damage and make your condis hurt instead of full condi.

It is like that coz anet likes to screw us over
They nerfed alot of our survivability so even if they turn it how it was we wouldn’t be the never die and run away eles that we were in the past

Well if they changed water dodge trait to a defensive evasive arcana it won’t nerf them that hard. So water dodge is healing ripple and in another attunements something defensive. I don’t think that will give too much problems. You can then choose between the offensive one in 30 arcana and a defensive one in 20 water
I kinda agree and maybe that they change the trait stop drop and roll (or whatever its called) gets turned in a defensive evasive aarcana while making original more offensive. But this is justmy oopinion.
As some said full celestial wont give you alot power but in combination with other kinds it could be the finishing touch. My favorite is combining cavalier and zerker with a hint of soldier since i feel that i wont need alot of hp. The celestial is more like the topping

Well i see it like this: imma burst ele so i wont need boons alot therefore i can put less points in arcana. If i died cos my boons run out of juice means i didnt burst enough. For bigger encounters its just beware of surroundings and gtfo when zergs or bigger groups want to play moshpit
Don’t forget the earth Glyph of storms cant remember how many times it saved me from a group of mobs
I agree some cooldowns are insane (looking at you rtl) if those skills did tonnes of damage then it would be ok but most skills are underwhelming and need a buff or cd reduction
Not just for s/d but also for focus
Create 5 eartpillars that surround you. When a foe touches a pillar it collapses dealing damage and knocking them down. When a pillar is knocked down you get 5 secs of protection
Maybe also versions of another element. Intention is so that foes have to be careful not to knock down the pillars

Well scepter has high burst dmg and dagger has more sustained dmg. And staff idk too inexperienced with staff:p at least focus is out of the picture because its a defensive weapon
Also when leveling take in mind that it can be very discouraging. Ele is a class that starts to shine with traits that synergise and your armor. See it as polishing a diamond in the begin it will be rough and ugly but in the end it’ll pay off.
Noo no ground targeted DT just make it slightly homing, reduce time it is hovering in the air and dont let it do 0 dmg wen u get cc’ed after its cast
They should make an elite Apocalypse like a glyph of storms that is longer, bigger and stronger and uses all elements to wreck havoc.

Lol nice breakdown i just react instinctively dunno what i do but them thieves picked the wrong ele to mess with. I think fighting thieves more helps as it makes countering them kinda like a reflex:p At least thats what happened with me
Sticky mud: give foe a debuff for 15 sec that lets them stick to other foes for 3 sec. Also stickedon foes get crippled for stickduration. Can also add a llittle dmg to itt
Stick occurs when they get to close to others
Maybe a trait that increases condi dmg by x for 20 sec when using a signet. Kinda the earth version of arcane lightning

Indeed, especially if you were using fresh air. I run a 10 arcane build most of the time without fresh air and it is fine (focus offhand reinforces this a bit with its slow cds)
Exactly ive never had more points in arcana than 10 and ive never had a problem with it. Imo it is just getting used to is and the remaining points cam be put to good use

Well i could also say not all elementalists have perma vigor and lacking mobility/swiftness can be partly compensated with some weapon or utility. But we have only 2 skills that grant vigor untraited
Try swapping before those skills hit u’ll still be able to use the fury
^but i agree about renewing stamina being a major sucks. Put it on air 5pt minor or something coz 5 air sucks
What do you mean with a good build? What do you prefer in builds. I don’t want to be rude but without that information it will be hard for the buildcraft people here to give you something what you can use and have fun usiing while still be functional.
Well at least you’re traited to run away in stead of using weapon skills. And I agree the grounded trait is to strong for adept. But overall pretty solid traits. Air line is mainly focussed on dmg and movement and I think you stuck to the theme.
Exactly, i played scepter since release and when accostomed to it it is as viable as dagger. Only difference is that you have to pull some extra tricks instead off blasting your foes away with aoes:p

Are you sure it was a stun and not an immobilize?
Im sure it was a stun i saw the stun icon appear. But maybe it was a 1 time bug or I messed up. ill try to look at it again
