I just got my 9/9 achievement today. You know? The one they hand out for enduring the fight 9 times. Once per day, and I couldn’t stomach that much because it took me 12 days. It’s impossible on my server.

I don’t mind people getting account wide bonuses from achievement points or special stat gear, but they need to do something of merit. Not: grind, grind, grind.

All I have to say is…..

Anet, instead of knowing that bug and do nothing for those who find this kind of code/bug/ or anything else, that should be bannable, and try it without knowing that, WHY NOT send an in-game mail at everyone saying that THIS code/bug/ or anything else to do, is currently an exploit and should be not be used ?

Yes it will advertise the code/bug/whatever, but EVERYONE would be warned if they use it, they will be banned.

How I saw it was someone posting “preview this (code), screenshot results”

Every other time anyone has posted that it’s been like, a preview code for the scelerite weapons before they were released, or nunchucks, or the school outfit, you know, harmless stuff letting you preview gear.

I did it a couple of times for proof on the forums and to see if it worked, hope I won’t get in trouble now.

Then again, half of NSP and sPVP right now are spamming this code.. It’d be a lot to ban a whole server.

I hope for perma bans for everyone “trying” this out.

What if they didn’t know what it did, using it once unknowing that it crashes people shouldn’t get permabans. Now if they use it more than once, at most twice, they know dang well what they’re doing and should be banned.

But once? How are you supposed to know? All I knew was it was a chat code, and I thought it was for a new gemstore item or one of Tequatl’s skins or something.

how do you tell the difference between people doing it on purpose and people doing it on accident? anyone can claim innocence.

Lol.. Lion’s arch just crashed when someone used the code. You cant get in. You get a network error and get booted to desktop if you try.

I did the same, a friend accidentally found it and told me about it, I whispered a friend and we both DCd. People are spamming it in LA and at metas and its really causing problems.

Yeah happening in LA on tarnished coast right now, nearing 10 d/c in less than 10 minutes. Map Chat has rumors about a command or item linking that causes it, but I have no proof to it. I just hope they have logs and issue bans because it’s well warranted if such is the case.

it is true. and they better ban all the exploiters. you can kick an entire map out of wvw for example.

I will not post the code here, but there’s a broken code link that kicks anyone who sees it from the server. You get an error and it instantly boots you to the character selection. Meaning if someone posts it in map chat, the WHOLE map DCs.

It’s usually open on either TC or JQ almost every night.

Dredge takes way too long, it definitely needs fixing. As for colossus and grawl, they aren’t too bad.

What fractals really needs though, is better rewards. I mean come on, it’s the hardest instance in the game (at high lvls) yet you get way more money doing 3 paths of AC, which is both easier and also faster even with any ‘’kitten-kitten -wuts-dat-dodge-button-thinger-do’’ group you can find.

There’s no real incentive to do any fractal past 28. The drops are crap even at 48. I can do a whole run and only get greens and blues.

One other thing could be to make the fractal weapons that drop in there either A.) Ascended, or B.) a token that atleast lets you choose which weapon you want.

Fractals is my favorite thing to do in the game and I hate to see these problems. :/

I agree. Unfortunately damage and defense scaling reaches a point where it no longer conveys a sense of progression and challenge. For example, once creatures start one-shotting every player, it doesn’t matter how much extra damage they do. We’re also looking into how to meaningfully extend the scalability of FOTM.

Introduce new mechanics instead of giving them more hp and damage. HP and damage really doesn’t make it harder, it just makes it take longer.

Edit: also, PLEASE make fractal lvls account bound! I don’t have time to level 7 more characters up to lvl48. Sometimes I’m in a group with 3 other guardians, and I can’t bring anything other than my guardian if I want my rewards.

Make doubloons of all kinds drop from champion loot bags. Make em about the same rarity as lodestones. Problem solved.

When I was in orr farming with some friends (before champ loot patch) and a Leaf of Kudzu dropped for me A guildie of mine had gotten Spark just a few days before that from that exact same spot ^^ We were all on TS together for both of the drops, which made it even more awesome.

I hate their animations.
They run on all 4.
They are furry.
They are huge.
They are ugly.
Their armor is terrible.

Nothing. I work full time and I’m also a Vice leader in a pretty large guild. I simply don’t have time. :P

I already have one legendary (sunrise) and I’m currently in the process of crafting the juggernaut. Once I’m done with that I’ll make an ascended scepter. I’m in no rush.

As title says. I’m in the process of crafting The Juggernaut atm and I’d like to see what the updated footsteps look like.
