Getting this error too with my character who’s in lion’s arch (IP: 64.25.33.63) ONLY my character who’s in LA is having issues and DCing as soon as I load in. I basically can’t play on my main atm :/

Sorry but how the heck do you expect people to pay for another expansion if you can’t even deliver the kitten you promised with HoT? I sure as hell won’t.
I feel as though they should have seen this kittenstorm coming, but it’s good to see that they are atleast willing to respond to player feedback. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get fixed.
This kind of feels like a big slap in the face to anyone who converts gems to gold or gold to gems, and I’m not spending anymore money buying gems until they sort this mess out, because I’m NOT okay with this. Atleast add a way to buy 50 gems at a time, because having 400 gems as the lowest possible is just plain dumb.

- There is misinformation: Numerous systems that show up in the level up guide that teaches you about things in the game when you gain levels are not locked out, the system simply tells you they exist in the game to help give you a better list of things you can do. Just because it’s included in the level up guide, doesn’t mean it’s actually locked out. You can dodge from level one, jumping puzzle from level one, etc.
Maybe if it actually listed them as ’’hints’’ or something instead of ’’rewards’’ it would be more obvious. I, a player since beta weekend 1 with ~5k hrs into the game was extremely confused by this at first too.
I think Arenanet should choose like 3 or so topics and the community can vote between those 3. That way we get topics that are relevant and can be discussed, and the community still has a say.
Don’t spend them yet, wait until the patch hits in case it adds something that you want. The gemstore updates every tuesday. I’d suggest getting a Salvage-o-Matic and a couple of bank tabs though. Maybe some infinite gathering tools if you think the convenience is worth it. Bag slots are good too if you mainly play one character, it can be a bit expensive to upgrade bag slots on all your characters.

Most armors look boring, except for light armor. Cooking/Assassin/ancestral/Pirate outfit all look good, and take the boredom out of medium armor. What’s more, if you got an expensive runeset in armor, it means you are bound to that armor. You can put a skin on it, but then that skin sticks unless you want to waste transmutation charges. I can change on the fly my armor look by changing outfit, me likes. And the 4 dye slots are enough for decent combinations. Got a very nice dye on my ranger’s assassins outfit now, it’s lovely, so why complaint? They bring something new/good, outfits, so I’d say, let more come.
Outfits suck because you can’t mix and match, meaning you’ll end up looking like everyone else.. Atleast with armor skins you can choose which pieces you want to use.
I have a lvl33 character in Wildstar, I love it. The tutorial and the 3-6 zones are a bit slow, but as the quests get more challenging the game gets alot better. If you try it out I’d say get to lvl20 and try out 1 of the 2 dungeons. PvE group content is where Wildstar really shines. That said though, Guild Wars 2 and Wildstar are 2 very very different kinds of MMO’s.
