I do want it! I actually like gear progression, as long as it doesn’t mean new and better gear will be made avaliable 1 month after I’ve completed my set. I really hope ascended armor and weapons will have some unique and good looking skins though, like the fractal capacitor.

Sadly not. The only thing they can be used for currently is the gift of fortune. I do hope they add more recipes involving clovers, obsidian shards, etc in the future, because I’m really not interested in any of the legendaries.

Maybe when they, supposedly sometime in 2013, come out with ascended armor we will see new skins, and hopefully they are flashy. I mean, come on, they are ascended and probably not very cheap to get, give me something fancy!

I also saw a reddit post where someone had found 3 new unreleased gem store armor skins somewhere in the game files.

Edit: I also enjoy customization. Alot. Being able to customize my character to my liking is extremely important to me. Maybe that’s why I have 3.5 characters in cultural T3 armor, and I’ve spent maybe 200 fine transmutation stones, and countless regular ones. :P

An hour for a measly 100g? Doesn’t seem worth it….unless there’s something I’m missing.

Yeah, I have a faster way….go out and kill stuff. I got more gold and karma than I know what to do with. Gold is useless. Karma is useless. Only thing worth anything is Laurels and it’s just a headache farming those.

You are trolling right? There’s no way you can get more than (or close to) 100g for an hour of killing mobs.

Do you even craft? If you aren’t making 100g+/hour, you aren’t trying. I’m baffled by people who seem to be perpetually broke in a game that hands out copper and loot with every other kill.

Yes you can. You just have to be smart. You don’t make gold by spending it. If you are trying to make gold but buying things on the Trading Co., you are doing it wrong. The Black Lion Trading Company is there to make you money at the expense of the players with questionable intelligence. Mobs are there to provide you with items to place on the Trading Co. If you want to make gold, get to killing/crafting and stop your spending.

No, not ‘hour after hour’. I make 100g or more in ~hour (more or less), only when I feel like farming. I don’t farm for gold 24/7 or anything like that.

Another tip: Sell Guild Bounty locations during your farming runs and questing forays. Some guilds will pay 10g or more for current GB locations.

Some people just have no business sense. Opportunities abound in GW2. You just have to learn to recognize them.

And 10g for a gb location? Lol there are websites (dulfy.com) that give you the locations for free. And even if you don’t know the location, finding the guy isn’t the hardest part of completing the guild bounty.

Kill stuff. Salvage stuff. Craft stuff. List stuff. The trick is it must be the right stuff. I’m not sharing that part. You will have to figure that out on your own. I don’t much cotten to competition.

And, only yesterday, I was offered 5g for the location of the GB in Diessa Plateau. A certain “Short-Fuse Felix” , if I remember correctly, who has a rather large patrol path.

I have 2 guardians, 1 sylvari, 1 asura. If I got a legendary for 1 of them, I would give it to my asura. I couldn’t care less wether or not other ppl could see it, I love my asura to death

Arenanet have already stated they are working on a LFG tool. Now, if you don’t want to use the gw2lfg website like most other people instead of spamming for hrs in LA….. well, then I don’t really know what to say.

A question to those of you thinking its too hard. Do you actually do other dungeons in this game?

GW2 has no trinity. (tank/heal/dps) You are not a tank, you can’t just stand still and smack a boss in the face without taking much damage. You need to move around, dodge, and use your skills wisely.

Be more careful with who you trust that stuff to. In my guild only a few people has access to the guild bank, not because of distrust, but because we are careful. If one of our members needs something from there our higher ups can just pull it out for them.

If you do regular pve and you know what you are doing each lvl takes around 1hr. Can prolly do it way faster then that though. I myself dont pay attention to my lvl though. I just go out and explore and enjoy the content. Almost everything you do gives you exp.
