there needs some sort of condi damage reduction like Agony but for conditions with a max cap of 30-40% maybe on runes or a gea set so players have to actually trade off some actual stat points and/or rune benefits
conditions are kinda fine necros and mesmers are just broken

This was already nerfed in the PvE/WvW side.
The reason people are all of a sudden noticing it now is because of the runes.

the nerf is so small players will still be able to insta slap 22 confusion stacks
maybe get some 1333-1600 ram and simply overclock your gpu 2×4 gb sticks should be quite cheap
i just believe your lag just cant be that bad in dungeon as i ran the game at 15 fps with my geforce 7200gs
so after you get ram simply overclock your gpu check if “msi afterburner” works for ya makes it easy
if that doesnt work i ll gladly take your gpu if you buy a replacement >.>

all you need is more ram or at least higher frequency 1333-1600mhz
and a better gpu
i suggest you check the gpureview website and compare gpus and see wich has the best performance for yer money some might look good showing 1gb memory and stuff but actually have low bandwith or poorer rendering than other models of same price
Legenderies will Hopefully not be “compensated” nor refunded or anything because those who made two of the same will still have the benefit of having their legendaies with Legendary stats whereas Legendary skins will simply be skins wich will have the stats of the weapons they where applied to
this is clearly a learn to play issue ele has ridiculous damage and survivability and mobility
could try not using staffs for 1 v 1 combat or pvp

other than that buff main attack damage as it stands its a joke for wvw and pvp
same goes for number 3 heal even on full cleric it fails doesnt even cure conditions i think so yeah only number 5 skill is worth a kitten

At level 80 you have 0 condition damage!!!!If I told you I was giving you almost 1000 of any stat for free you would take it.
That 916 power to start means you put 916 points somewhere else.
Say you like 2000 power in your build that means you can start moving points somewhere else earlier because you got 916 power for free.
Obviously the game isn’t balanced around this at all.

Last I checked any other rune gives you 165 of its primary stat whereas a condition damage rune gives you 183. Why do you think that is?

A condition build wants to reach 2000 condition damage he has to invest 2000 stat points toward condition damage. A power build has to invest 1084 stat points. Everyone knows that power> all offensive stats it is the most important offensive stat when building direct damage but you seem to imply 916 power just doesn’t matter. Ok.
Condition damage is the only offensive stat that starts at 0. The base critical damage is 150% so even if you don’t invest in critical damage you will always do more then base damage when you crit even if you don’t want to. You start with 4% critical chance but you say its a fluff stat.
You forgetting condition ignore armor,I be happy with 0 points at lvl 80 and ignoring armor with my power hits…
Not forgotten just not mentioned because I brought up 916 power because people are saying that condition builds only need to invest in 1 stat when power gets a 916 point headstart for stat points. The 2 just can’t be compared point for point but people keep trying so I threw 916 points in the ring.
You are correct so since direct damage and condition act different why are people still trying to compare them as if they act the same? They don’t kill the same, they aren’t effected by defenses the same but still people keep using the argument as if they are the same stats.

that so called 900 base power is made to even out with the base toughness you know so you dont hit 0s on mobs and players conditions have base damage and stack and also ignore armor so
without the 900 power toughness and vit we’d be no diferent than ambient creature

you can only have 1 stack sigil if you want precision get the always 5% precision wich is half of a fully stacked precision sigil

condi spammers were facerolling in pvp until a player buildt against condies then they couldnt kill a tanky player cuz they built to be tanky so instead the tanky players got punished because condi spammers dint want to run power and condi wich its whats happening in wvw now everyone going dire gear
but alas the patch will result in
A- engies decapping and bunkering harder thanks to buffing and shielding turrets
B- Necros becoming the new decappers thanks to the regen while on deathshroud
suggestions pretty much go necro mesmer or warrior or thief
so are pvt eles undieing gods with diamond skin? cuz theirs works at 90% hp instead of 25%

Fixed penalities on the assumption you will use a subset of utilities, kits balanced on the assumption you will use them fully traited…those are all backbones of the engineer balance philosophies.
There is no coherence between engineer balancing and the other classes’ balancing.

engies becomming imune to conditions when they drop to 2.5k- 3k hp in pvp ?

and whatever the average integrated HD graphics is
i dont trust the cpu much either cuz i had a dual core running at 3.1 ghz without overclock on my previous computer
PS not looking for anything fancy just smooth gameplay even if its at low graphics
heck my other pc had a Geforce 7200gs card so it was a miracle i even ran at 15 fps lol or even loaded the game to begin with

you cant compare condis to zerker. Zerker needs 3 dif stats to do dmg and its dmg starts right away but you can die right away too. Condis need 1 stat the other is optional. Condis do dmg over time and can go crazy. You can be tanky or have heals to keep you going as condi unlike zerker.
If anything Condis need a nerf. They are based on 1 stat and you just need to grab that one thing and then the rest you can stack up on hp and armor. Condis have no set balance at all. But condis only work in small fights or things like spvp/tpvp. In zerg fights condi clears happen alot and zerk/power builds are best for that.
Anywhere else but zerging condi is stupid op.

and actually work on groups if you use necros an mesmers with wells an stuff and that whole clones slapping condies in aoe 600 range when killed
hower the real condi threat in large zerg fights in wvw is Sup Arrow carts eat a koi cake and bam 1 minute duration condies doesnt sound like much but when you conside mastered ac mastery you got super wide aoe that applies (8 times?) and needless to say ac skills scale with condi damage as well as condi duration from player
therefore condition damage is actually broken as it works on siege

also the said nerf on healing signet is actually a Buff cuz healing signet will now scale more with healing power so slap a cleric or valkyrie item on an presto super healing
i read that the warriors healing sig is going to be nerfed by 8% and wanted to discuss it,
there is a need to nerf some warrior builds, that is true.first of all i think that the healing it gives, lets say 8k + (8% if you invest in healing power) in a duration of 20 seconds is
obviously a really nice number but it has no side effect like conditions removal.
its is though extremely effective on builds like a condi warrior for example, regain bersk and variations.yet say you take all your trinkets with a secondary healing power stat and your weapon aswell (means you go towrads a cleric build, rather then a bersk build),
so you spend all those stats and wonder how much is your healing sig gonna gain from such an invesment and the answer is less then 8%, so basiclly what i am saying if you neref the sig that is fair but, give a higher modifier gain from healing power, otherwise healing power and cleric, settler builds are wasteful.say you take all your trinkets and weapon and put crtical damage (ferocity, -10% updated), instead of the healing power, the gain is more then 40% crtical dammage.
lastly: there is a simple way to counter healing sig(any healing for that matter), you just apply poison, making it 33% less effictive, why wont you?

if aything conditions are the most broken spec specially thanks to dire gear offering ultimate survivability an damage my fastest kills have been of 7 4 an 2 seconds with nothing but raw conditions
if you’re not having massive damage output with 2k condi damage you’re using direct damage attacks or something or got bad traits
I was pretty excited about the upcoming Feature patch, but as someone who main’s an Engineer, the more details I see about the patch, the more nerf’s I see to my profession.
To maximise my 2 builds (condition and HGH/might dur), I need to mix and match my runes. Now it seems that they are reducing the 2nd stat bonus on all runes, this pretty much makes my current builds useless.
You are also no longer allowed to swap out your stacking sigil, so this means I can no longer swap out my Corruption sigil, to a Bursting sigil, without losing all my +250 condition damage bonus.
All this along with the -10% reducion to Critical Damage, I feel like I will not be motivated to login as my Engineer.
Unless they match or better the stats I currently get with my mix/match runes, and allow Engineer’s to weapon swap like the other professions, this is a nerf that will make my Engineer gather dust on the character select screen.~Bigoak
well do i got some good news for you to make you even less interested in playing engineer automated response got nerfed to uselessness and no longer makes you imune to conditions when dieing
how to collect your thief loot bag as Engineer
step 1 throw a mine at your feet
step 2 shoot auto to look as an enticing victim for thief when it stealths
step 3 net shot the sucker follow with jumpshot then insta aoe mine drop and dtonate and mash that #3 as finishing shot if the thief is even alive at this point
oh yeah you ll want googles as utility cuz of the blind imunity use as soon mine at your feet explodes
and this is the lazy way to deal with thiefs makes em angry cuz it makes em die like newbs :L
better yet make mortar a kit give nades 30-50% damage buff and make them our elite instead of stability give it 10s quickness
Id also like to point out how this is a nerf intented for Decap Engineers, a terribly gimmicky build in an equally gimmicky gamemode. A build that has no place in pve or wvw.
Yet the nerf applies everywhere. WvW and PvE. And so, once again, we’re getting another nerf across the board because of spvp. I am starting to hate pvp so kittening much, but not as much as i hate this utterly stuborn and asinine “balancing”.
this is what kittens me off specially now that all you see are Dire warriors dire necros dire mesmers dire rangers and even dire thieves at times with perplex runes
the real broken spec of the game is conditions or anet should make power vit toughness crit damage gear to counter this skill less play with skill less play
condi bunkers at the moment get
30-80% duration buffed on traits alone along with up to 500-600 condi damage
40% duration with food as well as 70 condi damage
aditional 250-300 damage from tuning crystals
25-40-50% duration on some runes as well as an aditional 180-200 condi damage
on a side note someone with fully mastered ac mastery try this with a sup ac in wvw its freaking awesome lol
at this point anet might as well go and say We want everyone to play mesmer thief or necro
kits need to be buffed like
if player = lvl 79 or less kit= exotic-rare 2h weapon stats
if player = lvl 80 kit= ascended 2h weapon stats
or kit = weapon rarity +2h stats
and get rid of the 30% damage drop when sigils on kits was implemented
its the coolest Sounding trait but it is highly impractical to begin with it breaks the whole tactical placement of turrets as you ll dump em ontop of each other to keep shield up
then theres the fact that you ll still be bombarded with aoes that dont really count as projectiles necro marks and well for example ele fire fields then theres the cone attacks wich are not projectiles either same goes for mesmer clones well you mesmers do have 2 projectile attacks tht summon clones so i guess it negates iberserker and iduelist
the key issues are:
Extremely easy Constant stealth access and blind on a pure dps build
Massive damage and No cooldowns whatsoever because of initiative system
skills on all other classes that have 1.2+ Power scaling usually have 20s+ cooldowns (except for 100b) but hey thieves use initiative so spam kill shots per second
GW2’s thief is the cheapest class i ve seen in any mmo so far
idk about you but as an asura im pretty much uncounterable if my target did not bring a stun breaker combat ends as easy as it starts
Stealth>F1>BS>Racial 3s daze+#2(no cast time ftw)and done collect your loot or slap another #2 and finish the job
Chill is perfectly fine as is durations are usually short maybe not if you fight a necro tho
immob on the other hand is just game breaking being able to stack good luck escaping classes that slap 20s-30s+ immob chains every 10-15-20s
lockdown is huge in pve small teams that need to lock champions in place ya know like oh idk frigging fractals?
here’s why this nerf irks me tho
supply crate+net turret = imbalanced (just how…?)
but thiefs being able to permanently stealth blind and instantaneously kill or teleport without cd all over the place is balanced?
my favorite:Warriors locking you down with hammer knocking and stunning spam and the immob on cripple trait is Perfectly fine you know skills you can use at any time while mobile unlike turrets? Balanced
necromancers hitting through wvw walls with shroud 4 skill is perfectly balanced
elementalists obliterating zergs with meteor+tornado is perfectly fine too
the condi nerf on engi is flat out stupid and heres why in order for the shotgunned poison grenades to stack insane duration of poison the target has to remains motionless wich makes you think well there ya have it thats why net turret gettin nerfed but then theres point b supply crate and net combo only work on single target combat and if your opponent does not know what a condi cleanse is nor stun breaker
who the heck dies to just poison tho?

Now lets compare this healing with a warrior healing sig
Base hp regen is 392
30s of healing sig = 11760 hp. More healing than a thief
60s of healing = 23520 hpif you need to complain about a class that can heal a lot its a warrior.
then theres the fact you see the rampaging brute swinging hammers and huge swords at you way before you even notice the thief wich already has his dagger up your rear by the time you notice
i think the problem with scaling is it does not take into consideration upleveled players
heck i dont need fishing to give me stuff to make exotics
it just would be the ultimate chillax and hangout skill countless times i travel just to gave into the water and wish i could just plop down with buddies and fish have a good talk something instead of fighting
well if anything fishing could be used to make food i guess

Refuge is extremely easy to counter and already has a somewhat lengthy cd
warrior healing should be lowered but given higher scaling with healing power thus warriors would have to choose between damage or super sustain or weaker hybrid
necro’s dhuumfire is being reworked and will if im not mistaken burn when using shroud form instead
ele #3 blind aint that a big deal as scepter lightning skills lack dps and arent hard to counter plus odds are eles wont stay attuned to air long anough for another # 3
mesmers are somewhat ok if the kitten clones did not force disengage your target from the obvious mesmer unless it was a stealth+clone
moa aint so bad if you aint 100% glass cannon you got a leap cripple and a weakness screech with 4s cd of course 2 v 1 you should have the disadvantage regardless if you are transformed or not.
It seems a couple clarifications are needed.
-I prefer SoR because I can manage my health well in fights. If you can’t or simply prefer shelter by all means use it. I am not putting it down. I do like it for GvG/zerg play.-Not sure what was meant by picking up soldiers runes. This particular build doesn’t use soldiers runes.
-As far as elites are concerned, RF if the only choice in <5 man fights. However the variation was there for group fight or highly coordinated 5 man havoc teams should they want to run it. I personally run RF all the time except when a commander/driver asks for them.
Hope that clears things up a little.

the only way i see aoe broken is making siege useless
all you see is meteor rains, lava fonts, arrow rain, wells on walls with so wide radius you cant drop siege even on the far back of walls
after checking necro you arent safe even behind the walls as their shroud # 4 skill hits through walls
all siege needs to give iron hide, and its resistance ot aoe skills upped by 60-80% as well
lets not forget the little exploits wich alone are not big deal but with a zerg doing them its huge like eles using meteor and trasnforming to tornadoes and necros doing the same dropping wells and transforming to lich form granting ovr 100% crit rate and doubling their damage
