I don’t know much about the Charr story sadly. But on the bright side, someone might show up in a minute and help you, now that they know you’re a Charr
The stories are not decided by your profession, they are decided by what race and what choices you made during character creation.
Could you please tell us your race and what level you are?
Here’s a REALLY cheap but effective tactic:
Have Caltrops, Signet of Malice, Spider Venom and Dagger Storm.
Run into said groups and drop the caltrops, use dagger storm and use spider venom midstorm.
You’ll get unholy amounts of healing because every dagger hit bounces to nearby targets, meaning you’ll be close to impossible to kill for the 8 second duration while delivering an amazing AoE damage output. When Dagger Storm ends, use Leaping Death Blossom as much as possible, and evade away from the enemies while they bleed to death.
Leaping Death Blossom makes you evade, so you can safely use it.
Also, I highly recommend you backtrack to the last few Renown Hearts you have completed – the karma gear you can buy there will keep you geared for the quest, and gear matters a lot more than you’d think.
I hope this helps.
Also, don’t let this discourage you – if it’s any comfort at all, I can confirm for you that it’s a tough part, and I was having trouble through it as well, and I consider myself to be fairly good.

I seem to be unable to make this work.
I have placed a m3u file in the documents/GW2/music folder, and named it Ambient
It doesn’t play however. Tried renaming it to various other names, but it doesn’t work at all.
Anyone with the same issue? Anyone who knows what I might be doing wrong?
Some trophies are items that you have collected for an event or a renown heart.
They are simply something you forgot to hand in, and you can destroy them without worrying about it.
Troll post, never mind :p
Well played, you caught me.

my head hurts from reading this..
I know the feeling.
Dungeons are the PvE end-game. 8 instances with multiple paths each are more than most games have at launch.
Don’t say they need to have 10+ players to be end-game or challenging, because that simply isn’t true.
and then did i sayd there needs to have 10+ i just ask’d if there will be
Answer: No.
Translation = is this game going to have “WoW” raids at the end
that is all you needed to say man.
From what I have read, I don’t think there are any plans for a “RAID” system in this game (someone has an update, feel free to correct me). Personally I think that is a good decision on their part if you look at the thought process behind it (not going to type it all up, google it, there is plenty of discussion). With Dungeons in the game (not dynamic events.. ) I don’t see a 20 man RAID working very well in GW2
…..seems u dont have alot of info on games man …Raids are not from wow….thas the basic on a mmo dungeons/raids
Stop saying this its not WoW …wow dident invented Raids
raids/dungeons that’s mmo’s
You’re reading it wrong. He was just calling them “WoW” raids because everyone knows what the term means. If he’d said “Rift” raids or anything else, less people would understand.
He didn’t say at any point WoW invented raids.
He was just explaining you won’t find anything above 5-man pve instanced content.
If you want something that requires more than 5 people in PvE, dynamic events are the answer.
I believe it goes like this:
If item X has 10% chance of dropping
then having +20% magic find will do the following:
Standard 10% chance
The magic find of 20% will mean 20% of 10% – in this case 2%.
Add 2 to the 10%
12% chance for the item to drop instead of 10, by having magic find 20%
dynamic events zone scaling ….thas not rly …end game pve…u dont get nothing special…no tactics need’d….only pve atm its the dungeons…and ppl do them very fast…
And that’s the end-game.
This is a question that cannot be answered. Play what you like.
_ _ _ _
There will be more than enough to do for PVE. This game is not as “PVP focused” as most think.
that dont .say nothing…there no pve end game on this game atm…only the events…but that dosent hlp u im reffering to pve like End game Raids that u do with hard work and with your guild and need tactics…..10man + Raids …and more dungeons thta u get GER and set items….not events..that u dont get nothing special
I’m sorry to disappoint you, but if you’ve searched for this pretty much anywhere, you’d know there is nothing besides 5-man instances, dynamic events, and pvp. That’s the endgame. Welcome.
You can’t.
Only Rangers and Necromancers get to have combat pets.
Also a friendly tip!
When waypointing to a city, for example Lion’s Arch, you can save money by picking the waypoint closest to you, and then once you’ve arrived, waypoint around inside Lion’s Arch.
The costs increase based on distance, but this is nullified when you enter a city, as the costs are reduced to 0!
Please, I beg you to fix this.
There are so many hungry players out there, just waiting for that single skill point to work, so we can get our 100%!
Don’t use waypoints as much as you’re doing.
Sell the loot you find to a vendor.
Try the best you can not to die.
Your total cash should only go upwards from there on.
Edit: Thanks moderator, this was going to get ugly.
I can’t say what you’re doing wrong, but you’re doing something wrong.
I haven’t used the Trading Post, and I have no money issues whatsoever.Something tells me you’re spending money on something you shouldn’t.
Ah, there we go. You’re waypointing everywhere and you’re dying all the time.
Try not to do either.
I haven’t needed a repair from level 50 to 80.Then you’re using an exploit, running around in your guilds zerg group, playing an overpowered class or lying.
I’m doing neither.
Read the part where it says “don’t die.” Also, how did you manage to get to 80 and NOT have enough money for the books?
I had 7 gold at 80, with the books purchased as well.
Are you sure you’re not doing something wrong i.e. running straight forward expecting to survive without fighting, taking too many mobs at once, not dodging, stuff like that?
Also, waypoints are coin-swallowers. Don’t use them unless you need to go REAAAAALLY far.
Edit: What class are you playing?
