What’s happening with HoD?

..seems like the week of the free transfers HoD was everywhere, then SF moved in to the match and since then HoD’s presence appears to be dropping more and more.

is it a conscious effort to not participate as much this week? losing pop to transfers and/or burnouts?

They don’t like being in last place.
I assume players who wanted to get a quick win aren’t in WvW for the hard slog.
Which just makes them lose more.

That and someone figured out if you take HoD’s bl. They don’t retake it for hours.

this isn’t a bug, its working as intended. you can’t guest from an NA server to an EU server, or vice versa.

reasoning behind it is because the data servers are different, or something like that.

But what this difference since I can permanently transfer to it?
Isn’t guesting just a temp transfer?

I’m not sure if this is a bug or for some reason (unknown to me) we’re just not allowed to guest from NA server to a Euro server.

I’m a European player who is currently on the Northern Shiverpeaks (NA) and I’d like to do a bit of guesting back somewhere with more people online in my timezone but I’m unable to do this.

Is this right? Are there any answers to the reasoning behind it? Will it be fixed?
I’d love if one of the Anet staff could answer this.

(My account is from Beta and I initially joined a NA server, I haven’t used any of my guesting rights within 24hours and am able to guest within the other NA servers)

If the time actually doesn’t change to people and their QQ posts I may actually just quit this game.
Euro players have been waiting for this day and literally thousands of them are celebrating for it.

I’m exactly the same about my badges :/
Its the WvW currency.
And WvW players are still stuck with 2nd best to PvE players.

FINALLY
This change is a medium between both NA and Euro, and is pretty equal.

Before NA were getting the best time. Like legit awesome reset time.
While for months euro’s reset has been at a really really stupid time.
So now its like Okies either side.
Especially for me, because I play on an NA server but am from Europe.

Yeh I was just wondering if the devs have suggested at WvW getting Ascended gear with badges anytime soon.
And also the possibility of full Ascended skins, like head, chest, legs etc coming into the game.

Does anyone know?

Rob, I don’t know if you were running around with your guild on reset night in the NSP Borderlands but kitten that was fun. I didn’t realize Os had so many numbers. That fight in Bay with us (PvP and Seed) versus you guys (what seemed like an infinite supply of Os bodies) was awesome. Fighting your zergs was some of the most fun I’ve ever had in WvW (yes, even when you slaughtered us).

No :c I don’t usually appear on reset. Only the odd occasions due to my timezone.
Fighting guilds like Seed, PvP, KING and others which I may have left out are what is fun about SF ^__^

Playing against good opponents is what we’re here for

Ah, maybe the focus has more on you this week, up til now. Pretty much, until late Thursday night of last week, the only place we could hold a tower for more than an hour (at least, that’s the way it seemed – this is definitely an exaggeration) was by attacking NSP BL.

EB was always locked down by SF, SF zergs circled our BL, and – occasionally – we’d get a few brave souls to take something in SF BL… for about fifteen minutes.

At this point, I’m just curious who – if either of our servers – will get pushed down next week. Hoping SF rises and GoM is able to make a comeback; miss the more even fights. SF domination is sucking the fun from WvW, to the point that I actually haven’t been in since the reset.

IoJ will move down and SF will move up.

If you guys are stuck between maps, we were total capping SF bl last week nearly on a daily basis. (Pic attached below, we were blue)
Really not that hard if NSP can do it. Just don’t be afraid of them and go all in XD

I’m saying overall, though. Not a one day comparison.
I made multiple posts about this last week (in our… how many locked threads did we get? XD) and not one person disagreed then. It was the main reason NSP kept the higher score – because we could hardly keep our BL with at least one constant 30-man SF zerg in it (and, usually there were 2-3 zergs of that size).

Hmm. They haven’t spawn camped your bl perma. Like I do see days when you have a tri-WP in there.

They do it to us too, which is why we never really have WP’s. But I get on during the night shift which is the time when they start capping it all. And defend it with the rest of the NSP night crew guilds.

Either that or we reclaim it as quickly as possible after they cap it, which is where HoD is probably losing out on.

Well if he was NSP at launch and then ended up on ET, he might be part of the massive TL-led exodus so he would’ve experienced the queues that followed that mega zerg around.

But then that was back before week-long matches started, which is the last time I remember us having real queues outside of reset night.

In tier 6, after we lost most of our WvW guilds.

Even when we were in tier 5. I don’t really remember seeing a queue time.

The funny thing about Birdsong, is that he trolls, I mean he REALLY works at it….Little posts here and there, never of substance just of “bait”….Several people have warned SF about Os and the trolling….But I have a slight history with ol Birdy here….You see once upon a time when I bought this game my first server was none other than NSP!

And my first or second toon (honestly cant remember) was invited to be an O….I even tried out WvW back then as a noob who had spent most of his time in PVE and PVP….And do you know what I remember about my time in NSP and Os? I remember this blue tag that I thought was so cool (what a nub I know) was kind of a tough guy….I mean all he did was rage in chat all day because Devona’s Rest would roll over us like an afterthought as he led us to their zerg over and over….Eventually I left NSP due to the queue situation (meaning I didn’t like queues at all….) Bounced to ET, where I would eventually meet my soulmate, the beloved SF, whom I loved so much I paid to transfer to the week that free transfers went away or shortly thereafter.

Here. I have attached a screenshot of Os roster during the time when I command.
Os being a Primetime guild, all the Asia and Euro players being very close since we literally become a 5man guild.
I would have noticed an extra chap in there.
I have no idea who you are.
Also no records of you on our compulsory forums.
That and why would I “rage” in chat. We have a vent you know.
