Probably the best thing about NSP is that all the bandwagoners left the server.

I can honestly say I quite enjoy the peeps we have on the server at the moment. With this new random roll winning and losing means nothing, you can no longer get stuck in tier 8.
Only dudes I’d want back are the original NSP players who missed their home.
And we’d still probably have no queue time, which is even more win.

Well I for one am loving the random roll.
NSP vs SF vs DH is proving to be surprising I think for all sides and a welcome relief from fighting a leech server which just kept putting down our rating.

NSP may not win every match, but we never lose by much even against servers much larger than us. Meaning our rating still goes up.
So this random roll is good for us.

That didn’t stop the shiverpeaks mafia from xfering.
And then they moved back because they didn’t like it.

Well goodluck in wherever you go, but some words of wisdom.

NSP used to go toe to toe with BlackGate when we had the Ascension Alliance.
They left. We lost people.
NSP used to fight DragonBrand. HOPE alliance left. We lost a ton of people.
Guilds continue to leave.
NSP continues to lose, but only by a slight amount.
Entire nightcrew folds. We start to lose to servers like Darkhaven.

All of the guilds that have left NSP either died or hopped to another server after their initial hop. There are few exceptions to this rule. The nightcrew just proved it by ditching Kaineng and moving Blackgate.

Most people dislike new servers unless they have a large guild community to support themselves. And even then, that guild is just known as the xfer guild and ditched its home server. You hold no care for that server or appreciation/ dedication, so you don’t play as hard for it.

My second point is most servers are the same, like dude, they’re identical. Like literally winning in WvW is due to coverage, when you play with a big guild like Os you bring your own coverage with you. You win when you play with your friends, who cares about the rest of the dudes.

And lastly.
You gain nothing out of winning at the end of the week in WvW.
First or last place. If you brought your guild to farm the other server, then you farmed them and have the same amount of Wexp. You still get to read the QQ on the forums.

Most dudes still on NSP recognise this, and I know because I know the peeps who moved off the server.
All they do is get bored of the game and /quit
Shiverpeaks is the motherland.
Can’t live without it.

Nice one birdy, i was walking back to SM after finally taking out those pesky trebs in DH keep and it flips to paper, was a great ninja. That first screen isnt from that ninja though, that was from when you and DH both got wiped

Yeup the first time we ninja’d in too. Except DH was on the north thumbing on the gates for what must have been an age. You guys were all inside trying to stop senior obvious’s zerg while we got in the back.

When we got in we looked in the lords room. Saw a ton of red. Were like, uhoh.
And then DH breaks in and instead of fighting you guys they go straight for us?!
The dudes who would actually be lending them cover fire (until we stole it from under their noses of course). But still, and then they get wiped too? like I don’t know what even.
You can see from that first screen DH coming around the corner as SF charge, like talk about sandwhich.

Got to love the poor class of Os on NSP. After a great fight in which it was 2v6 (me and Pita) in which they finally got us down after we had gotten 3 of them, we had another big fight at vale. It went back and forth beginning as a 3v3 and ended up at least 6v6 with GoM finally coming out on top. I ran into Os back at the ruins and figured I would pay them some respect by bowing. They jumped me so I figured I’d back off and give them space. I went to the bridge at briar and bowed again just to get jumped again. After a few minutes of fighting, they got me (1v6) and their classy commander laughs. I’m not exactly sure what you felt by that but i suppose when it takes 6 to kill one guy, you need to buff your ego somehow.

Between you targets buff line and his “Golden” title you see a black outline in the distance on the arch scratching his head.

Didn’t think you were worth chasing since every time we fought GoM and you started to lose you just ran to an NPC/Camp/Into tower (which is what happened at vale if you failed to notice your mesmers just standing in NPC range lol).

Don’t compare Retaliation to Confusion – even though the two are similar they aren’t the same.

Both have consequences if the enemy attacks, however confusion is much more powerful:
-Works when the enemy attacks anyone, so they can’t just target someone without retaliation and carry on attacking
-Triggers on anything, including heals, stun breaks, some dodge rolls.etc
-Confusion is stackable
-Confusion doesn’t trigger multiple times for something like Barrage (although it does for Tornado/Dagger Storm, I think)

In other words, confusion punishes you for doing anything, but retaliation only punishes you for attacking someone.

While I do think the concept of retaliation is badly implemented (it should hit really hard, but have low duration), it’s hardly the same as confusion.
