Personally my problem lies in Skill lag. Too much zerging brings skill lag, which affects the whole map at once. I wouldn’t mind zergs if my 20man group had a chance to use it’s skills in an effort to fight back.

Games with this many people have been out for over 10 years. fact that Anet cant allow their game to function with this population is just mind blowing. What a kitten poor job they did after launch. Their “update” teams should be fired.

Its well known that NCsoft use cheaper hardware than they should.
Its also well known that they are evil villains with capes and monocols, and such.

Combine these two things together and you find yourself with an underfunded project with various technical issues which can only be truly solved with MOAR MONEH.

Arena net are doing what they can with the resources they are given, just like at the start of GW1.
After a while NCsoft goes away and tries to be a fat cat elsewhere. Thats when I presume Anet will gain full control and the real work will begin.

My lvl6 killed a lvl80 in WvW today, albeit an awful lvl80.

If you want to do lvl1 – 80 with a profession in WvW? Do necro.
Stand at the back, throw down rings as you run away, watch the dots appear.
Its more or less the same as being a noob with a normal 80 class, but with each level you become slowly more and more OP.
To the point when you are actually 80, you will be like a 1 man condition army.

Devona’s Rest was stuck in a similar situation. We lost guilds, got stuck in T5 because of the horrid rating system when we were really a T8 server, and went 25 consecutive weeks without a win. Aside from forum threads we never spammed the forums with QQ threads about our situation. You all know the saying, once you hit rock bottom… Well DR did and after months we pulled our kitten together, improved as a server and pulled in our first victory since 2012 just a couple of weeks ago.

I don’t see enough dedication on AR to pull this off, at least not yet. That’s why you spend time complaining about Arena Net as if they are the only source for your problem. I’m sure it will happen eventually though, once you start making an effort.

As of late, our server is the most recent casualty of bailing WvW Guilds which is causing many of our active players to also leave. It might be somewhat hard to believe that a couple guilds leaving a world would cause much distress, but in actuality, it has. Our server has been completely crushed to the point of no return, even against the lowest tier servers.

I do believe it was a combined effort between AR and BP which started a freefalled for NSP nearly down into tier8.
We carried on and are doing well.

Stop crying and start winning.
What goes up must come down.

On a side note, quite a lot of people cheered at seeing consecutive -100 evolution on AR after it got separated from BP.
You have made a lot of people very happy, you should be proud.

Arenanet is no longer sitting on the WvW topic.
As shown by the recent updates WvW has received much more attention than it did in the beginning.

I am one of those people you speak of. With no map complete and 2k hours clocked in WvW, my every bit of gw2 gametime.

This I believe has much to do with Mr Devons appearance on the scenes. Boy hes slick.
With the new “Mastery” trait lines, Dailys being made possible to complete in WvW and even our own vendors, so we never have to leave. I think they’re making good steps towards an overall “win” environment.
And of course numbers beat all. If you want to compare the game to reality only the kungkittenkid wins in a fight 1vs3. If they brought out some advantage to small man teams that made them OP I’d just split my pug zerg up and organise them across the map (easily done with party targets and cross party leaders) and all 10 small man teams swarm your handful with the same advantage which was suppose to save you.

So they were a bit slow off the mark, so what we lost the casuals who didn’t have any real heart in wvw (your gf will tell you all is good as long and she eventually gets there, cough wink) The players that survive today since headstart are the true titans among men. Who will be here till the end of time.

Hold onto your hats, because in a few years I expect WvW to be insanity incarnate. And you’ll see myself at the front of the queue.

Siege has a longer render distance than players. They had 15minutes to drain over 1,000 supply and call everyone in WvW into their bl keeps. Not quite that simple, but it was an immense battle.

Worth every penny.

Ah but I cannot complain too much. As I stated in a previous post I have gotten over 500 kills this matchup, most thanks to NSP’s poor play quality. Yes, I may have met my demise about 10 times but 500 versus 10 is worth it.

International Bird Song Day is nearly upon us

What is Bird Song Day?
Thats easy:

1. Bird Song day is the largest unofficial event on the Northern Shiverpeaks
2. It takes place on Birds Birthday! May the celebrations begin!
3. Its aim is to Queue out the current selected map with players and then give each player a golem
4. The rules are simple, NOBODY WALKS. Everyone MUST be inside a golem.
5. The maximum map limit for players is 100. We expect to have 80 Golems per map
6. For official map selection and times please contact Bird Song or Smitry, on forums or Ingame.

I hope for you to join us on this day of insanity!

I have a counter proposal: and that’s is do what 2nd and 3rd should be doing and that is focusing on the leader and put NSP in 3rd for the week. Let us resolve first and second once we have first resolved 3rd.

This way IoJ gets its moral victory of beating NSP (after all HoD is “meh” right?), and HoD gets, well, HoD gets high morale off any outcome to be honest! …so w00t! for HoD!

Im sure NSP would like IoJ to fight for 2nd while you happily sit in your keep for the win. Playing for 2nd is the suckers bet, I for one dont think NSPs rating has been dumped enough in this matchup, whaddaya say?

It’s a shame that out of the two servers…. SPCA is literally the only guild running under 10. How boring this matchup is. AR used to be horrible with ALS running 40 mans…. And we were on NSP. Switch to HoD, NSP is the same as AR was. We fought AR and DH last week, probably the best matchup we have faced in 4-5 months as far as relativley fair fights. Groups running 10 or less or even 15 or less. This matchup just blows straight up. And we’re still getting a a ton of kills, just the mindset of your two servers NSP and Ioj or whatever your name is is brutal. You should all xfer to tier 1 and play Zerg wars / seige wars 2 there and leave people who like to use character abilities a bit more than 4 keys total a fight down here.

Always had a strong weekend force, weekdays you guys do seem to tapper off.

Weekdays are work and school days. Personally I get 2 hours during the weekdays. Id be willing to bet a good majority of our organized WvW guilds have the same problem. Hopefully with school out we will see more daytime and weekday play from the school kids.
