Actually did a dungeon run with an AR dude lel. He didn’t know what IoJ meant though sadly so I assume he wasn’t one of your WvW stock.

If you truly know what’s happening in WvW as a whole, then I’m very sure you would/should know what is happening to AR right now. Why did you think AR is currently in last place right now and still dropping in rating within merely three weeks after surviving for so long in tier 5 with BP/Ebay? Simply AR WvW is dead. There are not many remaining within AR WvW that played before three weeks ago. Everyone left, I can confidently say that more than three hundred people (ALS+Crit = 100 people) + (My guild and another one I know ~ 100 people) + (Other WvW lovers) who WvW a lot, had left AR last three weeks. AR is in such a sorry state even roaming guilds are transferring…

So who’s left on AR?
- PVE/PVP (map completers (which is pretty much impossible given situation now))
- People saving up for transfers
- Randoms/New players

That guy didn’t know IOJ? Of course then he doesn’t know WvW, or played in the past 3 weeks (since we were matched up with IoJ).

So where’s AR WvWers now? Around 100 in DB, 100 in BP, and some other scattered across servers

I could I suppose grind up some gold for a Commander tag and quite a few people on my server have even offered to assist me in that endeavor. However with the way the Commander tags are bought now I do not have the desire to get one.

What ruined the Commander thing is that it is just not WvW’centric. It can be and is used outside of WvW for squads, etc. I wish they would make a version of the tag for WvW only and use the following parameters to earn one.

1) It is purchased with badges only.

2) You cannot purchase one if you do not have certain thresholds met in WvW such kitten many towers captured, so many towers defended, so many pieces of siege built, etc. They already track all of that stuff anyways. (okay interesting on the inserted kitten)

3) Once purchased you start as a low level Commander, able to lead a small squad, and given a certain color for your tag. As you are successful in leading groups with your tag on and using again the parameters above, you will gain Commander ranks. Each rank allows such things as larger squad and other possibilities.

If you are still lousy as a Commander and people refuse to join your squad you do not gain those necessary points to advance your Commander rank. A Commander that switches servers drops to the lowest Commander ranking until he garners enough points to advance.

In that manner a Commander tag for WvW has to be earned both from being involved heavily in WvW and also but earning the respect of your fellow players.

A ton of zerging noobs with no clue how to command would have the tag then.
And they would never turn it off because they want ‘levels’.
So the map would be filled with lvl farmers screaming to follow them because they are the bestest.

Guardian > thief

They have stealth, you have so much toughness + block + healing/protection that they burn everything up and get retaliationed at the same time.
They have blind. You have blind. With a sword its faster than Thief.

Except. I can hit you in stealth. And you can’t hit me. While my toughness and blocking is universal.
Advantage gained.

Fat class for the win.
Berz thieves beware. As soon as I see my aegis “Block” come up, I pop another with retaliation. You stealth? Greatsword 5 skill targets you in it. And spin to win will remove half your health while you’re still on the floor.

Pay ALS to move back in (some of you still owe us for upgrades and solo-roam-or-go-home opportunities), and we’ll come naked-cap SM again. For old time’s sake, you know.

Anvil wasn’t a good server to fight.
It was literally a zergilious Borlis pass offhand server.
Which as you should remember, ruined the most even matchup in NA at the time with an organised 2man.

Goodluck in your rebuilding, but you’re better off without ALS.
Winning isn’t everything. Infact in WvW, its quite literally nothing. Lol

Keeping people sharp is one thing.
Being lame, crying and then quiting is another.

I all caps at my dudes sometimes, but its only when they are being bad. We do not have the numbers to be bad.
And I don’t quit after it, I’ll sit there with them until they get it. And when they’ve got it, we tumble roll stuff.
The quiters leave, and what I’m left is a reliable zerg which keeps tight and organised.
Its the secret to being a good commander, having good players. Teaching them if need be.

I’ve had multiple guildies on multiple occasions do it by accident (Sunnyhill is a pretty big offender, don’t know about the Eternal Battleground towers). Not sure if anyone did it twice in a row (maybe testing for science?).

Here is a guy from Ferg’s crossing that glitched himself into Lang. I entered lang then he did Whirlwind assault and he was inside able to kill me. In the 1st picture he accepted my party invite and I got his name. He said “It was a accident” when he entered Lang twice.

Teleporting into towers and keeps is quite intentional since it requires a certain spot on the wall to get in with judges. And he obviously kept doing it/used it to his advantage. Which is an obvious exploit.

He looks like a ghost to disguise what he actually looks like, so if someone screenshots him, he can’t be identified. Only real use for that tonic.
But you got him into party, so we know who he is. Lols on him

Any T1-3 WvW player who tells you the waiting time and unplayable lag is good is simply lying to you. There are multiple posts stating players NOT to go to these servers because they are literally breaking. Its a total waste of time as well as those tiers being full of bandwagon fan boys who don’t actually know how to play the game. You know who you guys are, cough, Zikory. JQ’s fair weather players aren’t showing up because they aren’t insta winning against Blackgate (what happens when you fill a server full of disloyal bandies).

Go to mid tier/mid low tier, (just not the lowest, they are bin servers).
Currently Northern Shiverpeaks, Devonas Rest, Henge of Denravi are facing the closest scoring matchups in NA. We’re literally clawing at each others throats for the points.

And next to zero queues except reset, with steady populations on all servers + no skill lag even for me here in Ireland!
DR and HoD have a more spread population with a larger night/oceanic presence while Northern Shiverpeaks is mainly clumped around EST primetime.
