I believe dulfy has guides on obtaining every skin. If you want to make your own guide I guess you ckittene it as a reference point. ( http://dulfy.net/category/gw2/weapon-skins/ (the later pages have specific weapon types))
Yeah, I checked it but couldn’t find info on the items on my list.
I am putting together a guide on how to acquire different weapons skins in the wardrobe but there are some mysterious skins that I can find no information on wiki or elsewhere. They are:
Reaper of Souls (dagger)
Inferno (scepter)
Dark Moon Shield
Summit Targe (shield)
Etched Short Bow (there are two of these with the same name; the other is missing)
Guild Spear Gun (harpoon gun)
Krytan Harpoon Gun
Lionguard Harpoon Gun
Warden Harpoon Gun
Ebon Vanguard Harpoon (spear)
Flame Harpoon (spear)
Krytan Harpoon (spear)
Legionnaire Harpoon (spear)
Lionguard Harpoon (spear)
Makeshift Spear
Polearm (spear)
Primitive Pike (spear)
Shiverpeak Skewer (spear)
Worn Voltaic Spear
Destroyer Scythe (staff)
Primitive Pillar (staff)
Flame Trident (there are two skins with the same name, the other one is missing)
Gladium Trident
Hawk Trident
Lionguard Trispear (trident)
The weird thing is, I have some of these in my wardrobe, but I have no idea where I got them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It’s a good start.
So sick of this doom and gloom. Wait until July when we’ll probably get new areas, races, weapons and all that other stuff that peeps have been asking for. Anet has always delivered, and I don’t believe for a second they will disappoint this time.
You are supposed to fight the mobs in the lava room so that Magg gets safely through. Blame yourself if you try to skip the mobs.
This update still doesn’t help me make temple events. I have no way to know when they are going to happen.
I used to do world bosses fairly frequently before the change because you could do most of them in as little as hour. Now you can do 4 per hour. These days I can only be bothered to do Frozen Maw and Karka Queen. Not to mention that temples are undoable now. Sucks.
Anet needs to read the Wikipedia article about the tragedy of commons. It can be applied here as well.
Yeah, it’s a pain in the kitten to try to unlock those traits that are tied to temples. I for one, don’t want to wait for hours for the events to spawn and so the traits remain unlocked.
Yes, that was my point exactly. At the moment, the gold to gems ratio is affordable only to the super rich players. It used to be that even only a moderately-active player could convert gold to gems and buy some neat stuff from the store, but no more. The 1% have it now. Middle-class is dead in GW2.
We usually do other dungeons while waiting CoE or CoF to be uncontested again.
I bought all the order armour and weapon skins to unlock them in wardrobe, and then proceeded to destroy them. I couldn’t even vendor them back for a few silvers, let alone salvage or forge them.
I don’t mind the lull in content, but I do mind them not telling us what to expect next, and when. Usually, when there is no communication, it means they have dropped the ball in some way, and that is worrisome.
Today I completed my ascended chest piece, the final piece of armor I needed to have full ascended armor. Now I have nothing to do with my money! I’m already pleased with my appearance, and anything I’d want is locked behind content, like the Kodan chest.
So I ask what to spend money on now? I play for fun, like everyone else, and now I have nothing to save for. Do you have any suggestions, or better yet, ways to progress? Some of my ideas:
- Polymock! I loved Polymock and I might as well save up in hopes it will return to GW2.
- Stack of 250 superior sharpening stones.
- Leveling up silly two-man guild.
- Things I can drop to help people out, like infinite merchants. Sadly these are not all accessible by other players.
- Alternatives. Craft ascended berserker. Big meh.
Just do whatever you find fun, man! Be pleased that you don’t have to grind for anything anymore.
Gem price is becoming intolerably high. Clearly Anet needs to tweak their algorithm so that you could get at least 15 gems with one gold. Beyond that, you need to be a super-rich tp player to be able to afford the gem store prices. And let’s not talk about using real money, as the $-to-gems ratio is even more absurd.
There is no “algorithm.” It’s solely based on supply and demand. The reason why gem prices are so high today is because everyone wants to get gems for “free” by buying them with gold rather than with real-world money. Thus, the supply of gems is steadily shrinking, since more people buy gems with gold rather than buy gold with gems.
If you want to actually lower the price of gems purchased with gold, then buy LOTS of gem cards or use your credit card to buy some through the in-game store. Then sell those gems for gold. That will put more gems into the game and lower prices all around. But you probably don’t want to do that, do you? You’d rather have someone else do that, since all you’d be getting out of the deal is gold, and even if you bought gems with the gold you earned from selling gems, you wouldn’t (by virtue of the exchange rate) get as many gems as you had originally purchased with real money. So good luck convincing everyone to buy gems with real money to reduce inflation. Unfortunately, that’s the only option I can think of that would accomplish anything. Anet has no influence over gem prices whatsoever, so the burden is on the players to change things.
Anet could easily influence the price by adding more gems to the supply everytime gem price went higher than e.g. 15 gems per gold, which was the last time that they were reasonably affordable.

I don’t mind the gem store since it contains mostly just useless junk. However, there are some items that I’ld like to get in there (salvage-o-matic, endless gathering tools) but with the current gold to gems ratio they are way too expensive. Anet should put a cap on how much gems can cost. You should get at least 15 gems per gold. Otherwise only the super-rich tp players can afford them.
I would probably be doing fractals much more often if the dredge threat wasn’t always looming there, easily doubling the time spent in fotm. At least move dredge to the first fractal place, so peeps can reroll it.
I have pretty much achieved everything I want in this game. Will not be playing much until new content comes out. And it better be exciting, not anet-“exciting.”
As a loyal fan of the game, I feel that anet at least owes me the explanation of when new content is going to come.
The lack of communication is the weirdest thing. Why won’t they tell us, when the next LS begins?
I wish items that are impossible to get at the moment were invisible in the wardrobe. I hate to look at those empty slots that are unfillable.
Can you tell me the name of the item in TP that has the legionnaire harpoon skin? I could only find legionnaire spear skin. And the lionguard weapon merchants didn’t sold the skins i’m looking for either.
Does anyone know how to obtain any of these skins that are in the wardrobe?
Spears: Krytan harpoon, Legionnaire harpoon, Lionguard harpoon
Harpoon guns: Krytan harpoon gun, Lionguard harpoon gun
Tridents: Gladium trident, Lionguard trispear
All we are asking for is a new ETA for the new legendaries. Something as vague as “later this year” would do.
“Return of the Revenge of the Son of Scarlet”
I don’t want to camp on maps to wait temple events to happen so how do I find out conveniently when temple events are on with the megaserver system? Need to open those traits for 8 chars.
I would like to see when temple events are on, though.
Am I missing something in not finding temple events in the timer?
Thanks! Will you do the same for weapons?
NO NO NO! We should go to the armory!
It’s indicates time spent playing the game. No one has 10k+ AP without having spent a lot of time in GW2. As a rule of thumb, someone who has spent more time playing tends to be better than someone who has spent less time playing. It doesn’t exactly have an overwhelming degree of accuracy, but it’s the best indicator available in game.
This.
I have played 3k hours and gotten 6 precursor drops so I think the system is all right. Heck, once I got two precursors in row from the forge.
I meant that I see no problems that aren’t hugely compensated by the benefits of this change.
Stop being so negative, people! This is a good change and I can see no drawbacks to it. Sit back and enjoy the game!
I can’t believe there are so many people complaining about this change. It is the best thing to happen to GW2 since launch. Overflows were always a major pain in the down there. Now they will be gone, and you get a proper map to do world bosses with including Tequ and Wurm.
Problem is that some of us are on low-populated servers for a reason.
So, why not let the players choose instead of forcing the “multiplayer” thing on us?
If there are to be several map copies anyway, it seems reasonable to let players see which ones are highly populated and which are empty. Than choose what they prefer. Map selected by the megaserver system could display as a suggestion only.
Umm, this is a multiplayer game. Perhaps you should switch to e.g. Skyrim if that is a problem for you.
Yay! This is the best news since ever. Goodbye to overflows, no more 2 hour waiting to get to the wurm ^^. Maybe I’ll finally get those achis.

Most boringiest patch ever. I was expecting class balance, new runes and inscriptions and maybe new legendaries but all we got was some gem items and a 5 minute npc conversation that didn’t even answer any of the questions.
(edited by Sakri.7234)
I expect and hope the epilogue to provide answers on why Scarlet awoke Mordy, and it should better be something more interesting than because she was mad. Also, answers on the possible connection between sylvari and the dragon.
It’ll probably cost gems and be a consumable. Permanent one extremely rare drop in bl chests.
I was kinda disappoint when I came to this game directly from Diablo. Indeed, there is little excitement in loot. Precursors are about the only worthwhile drop on level 80 and they are so vanishingly rare that you don’t realistically expect them to drop ever and therefore, there is no excitement.
Instead of nerfing zerker, they should have boosted cond dmg and cc. With the current mechanics, they are next to useless in PVE. And generally people hate nerfs. They should instead boost weaker options. People like to see heroes growing stronger over time, not the other way around. Basic psychology, anet.
I wouldn’t mind if they skipped one or two living story updates to fix all the annoying bugs and design mistakes in the game that players have long complained about. In fact, it would probably double my enjoyment of the game.
On top of that list would be the aforementioned dredge fractal, the overflow system preventing me from doing wurm on my own server without waiting for hours, world bosses with too many hit points and boring mechanisms, dungeon paths with too low reward for time investment, and the boring usefulness of stacking strategy against dungeon mobs. Oh, and while they’d be at it, they could make condition damage and cc useful in PVE.
As a fan of the game, anet owes me quality service, and this is not it. Fortunately I don’t have to wait long for The Elder Scrolls Online now…
That’s a weird concept right there.
I am a fan of Lot’s of things. I don’t expect my favourite band to play at my birthday….
Well, without fans, they’d be out of business, so they should be careful with how much they test our nerves.

Excellent post! I tip my hat, and I hope anet takes heed.
I will stop playing if they nerf zerker after gearing 5 characters with ascended zerker stuff. Unless, of course, they allow free swap of stats.
I for one, will quit playing if they nerf zerker without giving us free option to change stats. I have 5 characters with ascended zerker gear. I am not going to go through the grind again.
