Woopwoop free publicity, anyways all that has been said is correct so far, though I don’t really use the curtain for anything but reflection. The invulnerable bug thing actually goes further than the harpies, as ever since wardens can move, they become invulnerable when they are not attacking, making things a lot easier in p3 now. And c’mon guys, I know you watched it when I uploaded it

Hmmm… good question, Im a bit of a special case though, my initial solo was so horrible(scepter/pistol newmeta) because I had just crafted the mesmer to 80, frankly the only reason I started playing mesmer was because Obal beat me to the first guardian kill. It took me about 4/5 attempts to take him down then, mostly focussing on the ridiculously excessive swarms. Anyways, I believe that if you can stay calm, know your class and what to do to react to every attack, you should be able to get him 100% after between 5-10 kills, at least that’s what happened when I finally switched to swords. But remember that as long as you dont manipulate his attack pattern, lupi is still a tricky fellow, surviving more than 4 bubbles in a row is just ridiculously tough.
hah, i crafted mine to 80 as well, i think leveling a mesmer in any other way would be a pain up the kitten, so i still need some time to practise my mesmer skills. Also, what i have noticed is that, when i tried to solo or dual lupi on my zerker warrior, i always end up clicking the skill rather than pressing the hotkey, cos the keys r too spread out, and im too scared that i might press the wrong one. do u change the hotkeys for ur slot skills? to make them easier to access?
It actually depends a lot on what you are comfortable with, I can reach up to the 6 key with my left hand, so I kept the healing skill there, it reminds me that its not a button I should press without care :P As for utility, I use QERT for the first utility to the elite skill.

Aaaactually I changed back to meta mentor rank, because I don’t want to get too many mentees, as my runs are extremely intensive, thorough and personal. I just didnt like the term ‘meta’ mentor, because it makes me sound like someone who just follows tactics made up by someone else

Sandy, I love the double vigil, infinite light and firebringer clash to me. But anyway. Great choices, very different from the norm.
All right cool, I was aiming for vigil but certain regulars here didn’t like it
the only reason I brought firebringer is that this set is going to be for solos and makes use of battle sigils. The fiery glow on the hands that might gives makes more sense when you switch to a fiery sword, but I too had my doubts about the infinite light combo.

Glad you did, I’m going to help you. Here is my 3-step-manual on how the become a fashionable mesmer:
1. Buy a total makeover kit and go female, with dark (perferably short) hair.
2. Buy a nice armor and add some violet and black (not black, midnight ice) parts to it.
3. Equip Infinite Light with some glowing focus and either Bifrost or two Infinite Lights as secondary set.

This is my new set for post balance patch, I tried to catch as much of a ‘berserker’ feeling I could get. I cant decide on swords yet though, should I stick with infinite and firebringer, or go for doublevigil?
