The title comes off the lore of the game, not the fact that there is (or in this case isn’t) actual GvG

I’d agree to this if it weren’t for the fact that three of the four WvW maps are exactly the same. Exploration means going somewhere you haven’t been to before, not going to the same place with a different name.

Who here knows the mechanics of stealth and thief? Im judging no one above.
The first hit from stealth is pretty much always for free and invisible and usually a backstab or backstab combo.

A fully geared backstab that takes down another glass cannon with no toughness and no orbs and has the HP of a rabbit (or under lvl 80) is perfectly normal.

There are to many glass cannons saying they die to quickly…… thats the issue. Glass cannon is the thiefs favorite prey

I build a Tanky Warrior and still die pretty fast to Thieves, but I guess the next thing you’ll argue is my player skill isn’t it. Don’t know why people defend something that’s clearly broken.

My level 20 Thief has an easier time getting kitten done/getting kills in WvW than my 80 Warrior, Necro, Engineer, Guardian. Sorry to break it to you, but Thieves are the most broken class in WvW atm.

Yes, Mesmers have stealth too. But that’s okay because they actually die as intended when they get ambushed by a small group of people.

I use Sword/Torch + Staff on my Guardian. If you can’t handle a few nerfs/buffs you haven’t played many MMOs I assume. That or you’re used playing classes like lol"SkillBased"Thief

Sorry to say it but if I understand the ranking system correctly, Yak’s Bend may well be matched up against Maguuma again next week. You guys have given us a good fight though so hopefully you can continue to provide a challenge next week and maybe even get the upper hand on us. With another server of higher quality than Ebay, it should make for a more balanced match all round.

Tbh Yaks can hold their own against Mag as long as the other server has a presence too. Having Blue focus solely on Green simply because they know Red can’t do anything is lol. But yeah, next match should be a good one I hope.

Hat’s off to Maguuma players. You guys organized better than EB or YB. I’m on Yak’s and spent some time in the match this past week.

We had some great fights with EB in the first couple of days. I would say (regardless of the score) the overall organization and player ability is actually pretty even between YB and EB.

Maguuma on the other hand just outplayed us. You did have a strong Wv3 playerbase during the entire match, good tactics and talented players. YB and EB participation trailed off pretty quickly after the first couple of days. Your victory has been earned regardless of all the hack-u-sations.

See that…no QQ’ing about night capping, or hacking, or we were outnumbered and it’s not fair. Yak’s lost and I hope we have learned from this. I wish people on our server would fortify positions just captured. Stop taking supplies from towers and garrisons. Learn that the mindless zerg of 30-40 people randomly roaming the map is not capable of winning a match. Please start communicating with one another. Start small groups that are solely for defending supply points and supply lines.

Communicate and learn peoples in game names. We have a lot of talented fighters. Yak’s has a lot of potential! Let’s take advantage of our potential!

What’re you talking about. Mag DID outnumber us completely. Yak at peak hours is capable of doing this even when they had all 3 orbs. (See picture). But once everyone needs to head bed, blue completely dominates everything. I’m not saying it wasn’t fair, just that Yaks could have had maybe double the score if only we had a early morning crew.

If this was in WvW and you’re in Yak’s Bend. I think I was chasing that thief down right along with you.

If not, same thing happened to me yesterday too.

They should make that “Can’t go invis again” debuff slightly longer.

I think of WvWvW as three different realms clashing with each other and each trying to take over each others world. As for sPvP, I never touched it so I have no clue.

As a person with about 20 gold on my main, and is usually broke in almost any other game I play; It’s not hard to make money in this game. But yeah that post was kinda disrespectful.. True but still disrespectful.

Pretty sure Thief is one of the most nub-friendliest classes next to Warrior.

One patch every “TWO” weeks is normal for many MMOs, and considering how much they actually get done during just “ONE” week; you should be seriously more thankful instead of asking for more.

I don’t see why people think the first month of a game is the most important. I’ve seen many MMOs lose a lot of players within the first month that are still around. Game hoppers will hop from games to games.

Agree with OP. You should not be forced into a PvP zone just to get an “Exploration” achievement.

Blackgate is basically on 24/7.

Why can’t we just share the grub. Why. Why. Why.

That server crash last night which costed as Anza tower didn’t help either. I was of the ones defending that tower nearly the entire day, than the crash came along. Lost it in a matter of minutes, was fully upgraded too. After that, the rage quitting started.

Yaks are too busy arguing amongst each other than to actually try and do anything. Too many randoms attacking SM and ignoring team chat. It’s some sad kitten.
