Same here. For me staff is not confirmed. Not as a melee weapon at least. Simple bc these animations with “spear” looked way too hammer like for my taste. Id be really dissapointed if thats a staff.

Also if he get a hammer, i hope its a dps weapon actually.

arcing arrow often hits for 3k or more on the builds i run. if you think shoutbow, and celestial axe don’t hit hard you are simply not playing them right.

P.S You can only complain once you get into the competitive scene, until then don’t bother posting at all until you understand what the real problems should people look into are, no offense to the complainers in all honesty.

Your stream is a junk where you getting carried over, so are your builds. My hammer+mace/shield would eat you alive in single combo.

I think if there’s ever gonna be a new playable race, Tengu is the most likely.

They had models ready for player use, as well as a starting city, and a few other bits and pieces of story for them. They didn’t make the final cut but the resources are still there.

It’s unblockable, so you can send the enemy guard’s heal (Shelter) on full CD without any healing recieved by your enemy. You can also mess up an engineer’s gear shield.

And ofc rupting stomps is always good.

I just ran tpvp last night and of course the number of shoutbows are stupid. I am 100% unimpressed with the build and i have not met 1 shoutbow so far that i havent killed with ease with my build.

Fear while unblockable does not mean the same thing as 100% hit always. Fear both necro,warrior, theif stolen or ranger pet ability can still be dodged/evaded, blinded, stabilitied and simply out ranged (though out ranging this is rare and hard to accomplish in most circumstances).

If anything i give this shoutbow build meta trend a 2/5.

Not a fan of the build either. It would probably fail in a power meta as mesmer/thief burst combo takes it out under seconds, but this hardcounters every condi spec with no effort and provides valuable party healing/cleanses.

You dont even need thief/mes. My pewpew takes it 1v1 just fine and without effort.

I don’t want to kill the brainstorming….. but, there are no new weapon types being added in Heart of Thorns. Though, specializations will allow professions to use existing weapon types which they currently cannot use.

Just dont come back once Black Desert fail like Wildstar, Archeage, ESO etc. While graphic and features looks interesing i fear its going to be another failure – considering the fact alone that theres open world pvp gang, losing exp by getting killed in pvp, soft lv cap means you can continue to lv up (50 cap) to gain advantage in pvp etc and huge grind. Why it would cause huge fps drops? Its like saying staff ele causing fps drops with all their aoe spam. And actually it looks like barrage with fire arrows. Maybe it make it way back as f2. Yeah nope, war cannot have decent looking animations.

Hello, Roy. I’ve always wanted to invest in a heavy armored profession, but I dislike non-magical classes (Warrior), and Guardian is stricly too defensive for me (I’m more into professions that offer a higher diversity of damage and/ or control builds). Is the Revenant for me? :P

The Revenant is quite different from both the guardian and the warrior professions. Think a darker heavy armor class that imbues magic and power of the mists into it’s attacks, along with drawing power from past legends.

But here’s the thing, the OP complains about DPS Warrior being bad when he’s too scared to do risky plays with Zerker Stance. Uses signet of rage over rampage too. No wonder you’re getting bad results, it’s because you’re playing bad builds.

I guess now you realistically can’t really complain about “Warrior sucking” when you blow at theory crafting builds which is probably the easiest thing that you can do on the game.

Maybe you dindt noticed but he went full glass, signet of fury was there to max out adrenaline for extra +15% dps. On top of that scholar runes etc. The purpose of this vid was to max out possible dmg coming from hb. For such a glassy char 10k is really low.

Now what about builds that are not glassy?

Gs looks kitten and unlike dual wielding it doesnt have that silly aesthetic issues where you swing with your weapon in mainhand but at same time you dont do anything with offhand. Where is that dual wield concept? Its looks stupid if anything. Terrible design.

For some reason sweetfx doesnt work for me no matter what ill try. At least i dont have to give a kitten about mods in this case.

Just give me spear+harpoon on land. That combo is a beast with it skill synergy. Something that gs+rifle will never archieve.

I believe charr hitbox are bugged for 2 reasons;

-its not rare to happen that i am still taking damage outside of red rings if i am close to them

-Vinewrath Teragriff champion; though im on the flower still vinewrath aoe hits me when im close to the edge

For spvp shoutbow and hambow are still good
For wvw sw+wh/hammer is still good.
For dungeons the banners are usefull.

In short;

For spvp shout bot
For pve banner bot

And btw shoutbow is by far the worse build i have seen. I dont even know how it can be meta. Such a junk build, ofc good for cleaning condi but thats about it. For that task ill pick up ele instead tho.

Well tbh i think warrior should have 3rd wep swap as master of weapons.

1 extra key wont change much unless its 3rd wep swap lols. And yeah it might be linked with specializations considering the fact that they was unable to use that in the vid. Its probably another burst with huge windup based on offhand and second one for 2h weps. Whatever, im still going to main reve but that change will help war a bit for sure.

As a Warrior player and multi classer there is only ONE reason why Warrior got nerfed… it was because it was OP

Hambow with no adrenaline decay was OP… that is all there is to it now the other random nerfs I do not feel were that justified or overall that impactful to the class but you guys can not deny that Hambow before Adrenaline and Sigils/Runes changes was the Apex Predator in tPvP
