Edit: Although technically I didnt go underwater like this thread supposes. Just swam on top. But I’m sure it’s all tied to the same thing.

Ah, but I didn’t actually ‘switch’ weapon, I simply swam on top of the water.

For clarity: My underwater weapon was never held in my hand and no underwater skills ever appeared in my slots. I swam from one point to another without ducking my head.

I noticed this before a Teq fight as I wondered around building my Sigil of Perception stacks.

However, my Harpoon Gun has a Sigil of Bloodlust. If I went into the water, even though I didn’t kill anything and just swam on the top of the water, when I got out my stacks were gone.

If I took the Harpoon Gun off and repeated this, they stayed. So the stack-removal is triggered simply by going in the water and not utilising the weapon-sigil at all.
I thought they would be removed only if you started acquiring other stacks.

Can’t we dip our toes and keep our stacks? It seems like it isn’t working as intended.

Liadri is not and never wass a skill test.
Its a BUILD test.

If you can afford (or you are lucky enough to already have) proper sigils/runes/equipment, it will be easy.

If you can t, you will need lot of luck and perseverance.

A Full zerker ele with scepter/focus with XXX46 and a sigil of energy can kill liadrui quite easily.

A soldier will struggle due to lack of damage

Yeah with my zerker thief it was really easy, basically:
- stealth make all the visions lose the aggro, awesome in phase 1 for bringing up crystals and shooting them.
- Fleet of Foot, a master trait in acrobatics tree make you clear both the conditions she put with just a dodge, and with a thief you can dodge a lot
- limtless teleports with short bow save ur kitten a lot
- double pistol put countless stacks of bleeding while doing awesome damage with skill 3

When everything can kill you in 1 hit, there is no reason to go defensive.

Normally I play a Cond Engi. But I did it with a PTV (Dolyak rune) Guard with Staff. I think any build can do it, it’s just playing the best to that build.

I’d prefer a system like the Marionette. Where people may have to complete a common (kinda zergy) goal, and then those that actually interacted get split up automatically into groups of even numbers. So with 6 bosses, 80 people, you get about 13 people each in an cage match with the boss.

And actual interaction as well; so those running into walls to escape detection for 3 hours are not put into the events, get no reward, and do not count towards scaling.

Not to troll or be glib on your thread, but I got a Monocle off something like 35. Since then opened another hundred or so and just tokens.

I got a monocle after 35 bags or so total. The rest were tokens. They really need to balance it out. I think I’ll take my luck and do a Daily or something.

I almost ragequit a couple of times due to my ping (from Australia, so it’s at least 200 ms) causing the game to think I was closer to the Visions than I really was, or not letting me pick up orbs when I was standing right on top of them. But I finally got it in the end! /dance

EG with dual pistols. Took elixir H, R, S and Elixir Gun. Invigorating Speed, Power Shoes, Speedy Kits. The bouncing elixir from EG helps both with Liadri and gives you Swiftness. With Cleansing Formula, also removes a cond.

I’m not really a finance person, but over a 2 year period it seems Jan 2013 was their lowest? With there being a 25% increase from that time to now?

I hope they leave the previous achievements/mini’s out of it and put in new ones.
Not everyone will agree of course, but I just feel it’s a nice exclusive thing to have: the mini Liadri.

Still, if they do I’m sure they have their good reasons.

That’s the beauty of Fractals. They can always re-introduce gear from earlier times simply by having it drop in a Fractal. E.g., the Scarlet Rainbow/Kiss, it could drop from the reactor fractal she features in.

Undead is a solid cond runeset. It’s not cheap because it’s bad. It’s cheap because the mats to make them are cheap.

Yeah, I know. I run a nightmare/undead set. I’m not really that into the absolutes of fine tweaking, I work along the lines of: it works for me so that’ll do type of thing.

I’d just be amused to watch the 1% try and buy them all.

I think it would be easier to have goals in the instance. For example, if you don’t rescue a civ/particpate in an event/encourage a soldier at least once every 5 mins then you get kicked.

Or perhaps they can add a better mechanic, such as someone hauls you out thinking you’re a ‘scared citizen’ needing ‘encouragement’.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but we all know the Search function is having a sabbatical.

The bank: with all of the tabs of stuff I have, as a quality of life thing would anyone else like to be able to move the entire tab up/down the order? Much the same way you can move your Inventory bags around.

Because if I gather heaps of (A), then do other stuff and fill up other tabs, then start gathering (A) again, it takes ages to move everything around to have them next to each other.

Just a small suggestion.

Just saying: the animations were brilliant, but whoever did that voiceover needs to stick to the Under-7s Storytime. Honestly, there was no sense of urgency, danger, intrigue or climax.

Find someone with passion and depth to their voice. I think, the end of someone like Briar (as we are all salivating for the end of :P ) deserves more. Imagine Nick Cave doing it.

I have seena lot of negativity about how long it takes fractals to complete, and also a lot of good counter arguments. Personally, I think they are fantastic as is and am happy to continue with them exactly as they are.

However, this suggestion is to help those people who for whatever external reason are more time-poor than others. What would people say to being able to choose the number of fractals?

For example: when you step into the portal you can choose to only do one. Or you can choose to do all of them, every one, in a row.

The rewards would go up depending on how many you do in a row.

Just a thought:
Considering it isn’t affected Mistlocks, and the fact Mai is always on the move targeting the furthest player from her, would it be simpler to stack Torment on her?

True. But if the plan is to get the shells to craft, then the price comes down because of farmers, you can buy them instead.

Perhaps introduce the ability to choose shorter number of fractals, with rewards increasing for the more you do in a row? From 1 – 6 or the like?

Stock up on your laurels now, I suppose.
