The rewards were definitely a joke. The season did nothing good for us. SoR broke as a server, pvdooring for 4/7 weeks, I have not been this un interested in wvw in a long time. PVE’rs crying about karma training on Saturday in the hard matches etc etc. please lets not have a second season. Give us back our stagnant, but fights filled matches.

Yes, the committee has changed the “not buying guilds” stance because a majority of the guilds represented said go ahead. No high/war council, it’s just a simple committee to help the community.

BG had the roughest time before the leagues losing guild after guild and having coverage whole for 2 timezones and losing a series of matches just before the leagues begun. Other servers wrote us off saying we would have no chance at #1, and we would only be able to play king maker. But just as the season dawned upon us, we came out swinging with a surprise win. Call us stacked, only play for ppt, etc. but BG is the most friendly and welcoming community I have seen in this game.
As much as I sometimes curse our PVE’rs, I admit that they were vital in this win. They closed our coverage gaps, even disorganised, they fought hard, and the score board reflected it.
Better control me Cuddles! If you don’t I’ll start sending Bread to people again! Maybe I’ll even spice it up this time by sending pizza! Thats like Bread++

It’s not our fault your PUGs don’t show up when the going gets tough. I heard there were 4 ques during that time zone during your ‘easy’ matches and were non existent when you were faced with BG.
yeah thats the difference with JQ and SOR militia, when kittens hit the fan most run and dont show up, mostly particpate on karma train fridays and on easy weeks, as for BG they will still show up no matter what the odds are and do everything they can to help.

We didn’t need to. You guys can barely fill up the other maps, let alone the OS. We might have to set up a charity for our poor SoR so they can get some more guilds with our $$$$
I get why people on SOR and JQ hate some BG so much, I mean for heavens sake were only 1 day into it and yall are claiming champion this, and undefeated that crap. No offense guys but we all know what is going on with seasons. Just get out there and enjoy a HEALTHY T1 matchup with fights and good strategy around every corner. Its your right to PVF if you want but it doesnt make you or BG look any better or do any better. Just my opinion.

If you venture out of this thread and to other other threads on this forum, you will realize that the BG chest thumping actually gets worse than this. Regarding the matchup, at this moment, there’s nothing JQ and SOR can do especially that IRON has left SOR. If you notice, BG takes over the lead once again during EU time. It’s the weekends so NA can probably log in earlier, but during weekdays, it’s another 4 to 5 hours of uncontested capping by BG. Let’s hope season 2, both JQ and SOR can get a few EU guilds to make this time zone a little more competitive.
