I remember my 55 Monk or Necro…so much fun farming the underworld.

That was an exploit of the game, so I wouldn’t say go back to this way -also used dual profession.

Then it was the most widespread exploit, that never got fixed.

It did – 55 monks died between year2 and 3 of the game. This was due to the addition of enchant stripping in UW and FoW and the nerf of Shield of Judgment.

Are you sure about that, I thought Protective Spirit was the main skill for 55 monk.

and Shield of Judgment – that is how the damage was done.

Refresh my memory., so how did 55 Necro do damage, it couldn’t use Monks elite skill.

It’s been a while, was DoA the one you run with a group of BP rangers…if that’s it, I remember it being so much fun, even tho it took like an hour to complete.

No, BP team was for Tombs of the Primeval Kings.
DoA was the “LBr6+ URSAN ONLY” before ursan got nerfed.

That’s right, I forgot about Ursan…such good memories. Doesn’t everything about GW1 seems so much fun, while GW2 seems more like a chore.

I’m so happy OP made this thread, I don’t have to feel embarrass for enjoying a game. I’m 41 and only my wife knows I play…now I know I’m not alone.

I’m 41 and have been playing since GW1, my first MMO and I haven’t look back. I’m just a casual gamer, the only time I get to play is when the kids are a sleep…that’s why I love GW, there’s no pressure, just play at your leisure.

I was on GW1 for 2.5 years, my first and best MMO. As for GW 2, it’s been only 3 month and I’m bored of it. I don’t know why it was changed so much, GW1 had the winning formula.

Here we go with Nerf Wars again, that’s what killed GW1. The regen is fine, leave it alone.

I have a newborn baby…whenever she start crying and I have to quickly run up stair, should I have to worry about be suspended?

I too am getting frustrated with the knights. I have only beat them once when a few good guys from TTS went to other servers to help other players. I don’t understand Anet and I’m really disappointed in this event. I hope they take this lesson and not create this type of criteria for any other event.

Most difficult is never getting to killing a knight because my server don’t have enough ppl.

I was lucky to get in there and kill scarlet before Anet made it impossible. Sadly, a lot of my friends won’t make it. I sometimes stand there and watch them try and fail….what a great laugh.

My server gave up on the knights and just after the champions. Nice going Anet!
