Because increasing your power by 250 from 1000 is +25% dmg, but with zerker you’ll have like 2500 power so it’s only 10%. Now if you are buffed correctly in a pt you’re about to have 3500 power where those 250 from bloodlust will give you 7%.

As much as I am looking forward to Fallout 4, I made a decision long ago never to buy any Bethesda games until a few months after release. The number of bugs at release is just crippling.

Besides, Bethesda will likely not release GECK until a few months later anyway. And it might get cheaper by then!

Anet doesn’t have a great track record releasing polished games either.

I use to main and love my ranger, but after watching all the other class get buff and ranger got nothing. I decided to create a Guardian and Ele and I was having so much fun afterward. I don’t why I didn’t listen to people saying that ranger were useless, but they were right all along.

Hey guys, we got them keys the whole community been asking for.

The ranger has been ignored by Anet for the last 3 years. Their damage is terrible compared to the others. And their only good healing/condition cleanse Healing Spring skill was nerf to nothingness. Pets are unreliable and takes too long to attack.

I would suggest to make another class…don’t waste your time leveling a ranger.

People are panicking really prematurely about F2P. It would not be difficult to put sensible limits on it while still allowing people a relatively unrestricted free core game. Just off the top of my head, here are some brainstormed and reasonable restrictions:

- You can only communicate with people in your guild, in your party, or people who have added you as a friend.
- You can’t send items or gold through the mail, and can only send 1 mail per hour.
- You can’t receive daily login rewards. Or maybe, you just can’t receive laurels. The other rewards are no big deal.

Is there anything else that would even be necessary? Do those three things and you protect the paid players from a lot of potential abuse while also letting people get a pretty complete free-to-play experience.

What about Map overflow? With all the bots camping out at particular zones, will most of us be kick into overflow?

It looks like they are phasing out the ranger, I really don’t know why you guys bother playing a ranger. Anet have neglected that class for so long, you might well use it as mule to carry your garbage overflow from you storage.

What about condition cleanse, was this fixed on Healing Spring?

HS works to cleanse condis.

The problem is if the initial heal from the skill brings you up to full hp, the trap portion which does the condition clear never triggers. They need to either add a condition cleanse to the initial skill activation, or make the HS traps also trigger if you have a condition on you.

So bascially…healing springs is still garbage.

My first anniversary sale purchase was for the Caithe’s Bloom Dagger, but somehow I got the Kasmeer’s Staff instead, which I already have unlocked. I tried to summit a ticket to have it corrected. And Anet’s response was you out of luck…too bad. Really terrible policy.

Anet’s greed is starting to leave a sour taste in my mouth. I will not be spending any more money on this game.

Also, anybody know if it’s possbile to get a refund on the pre-purchase for HoT…I don’t want to support these type of business practice.

It’s 3 years old and its showing it’s age. It’s definitely getting stale and will eventually die. If the expansion doesn’t live up to the hype then GW is dead.

What would the definition of soon for Anet? 2016 or 2017? Kids are back in school now, college starting soon, next thing you know it would be christmas. Hence…the lack of details on the release date. Anet is not even confident about their expansion enough to give it a date. That’s why I think the earliest is first quarter of 2016.

That’s why I suggested to just scale down the exp and loot they would get, instead of just taking it away.

I have been in many of these trains and I have barely seen any bad behavior. Its was only a few isolated incident, you don’t punish everybody for it.

This is a classic example of players evolving and thinking outside the box, min maxing the most effective way to obtain high quantities of rewards.

It was never the intentional design of the Developers who created those events to have level 80’s ritualistically rotate through each event, while leaving most other level 80 content abandoned.

On top of the toxicity it created by our own community it got escalated to a level where Devs had to step in and nerf it.

Basically the devs did not intend us to play Queens dale in this manner and squashed it.

The toxicity was overblown, it’s like any train even in SW. The reason it was nerf because a few whiny posters thinks they know whats best for every new players. I ran across the rain when I first bought this game and I thought it was awesome. It didn’t changed how I played the game.

It wasn’t overblown. I was in that zone doing the train some time and there was plenty of it. It gave a bad impression of the game to new people, when only a few people by percentage were being nasty. But it was enough of a problem to move it, that much I’m sure of.

This is an MMO, I’ve have seen people get nasty with each in Lion’s Arch…should we shut it down too?

dont preorder fallout 4 either :P. Seriously. pre-ordering should be illegal with the amount of glitchy/unfinished/bad games that get released these days. Fallout 4 is going to be amazing, im super hyped for it, but i doubt their ability to release a finished, polished game given the game breaking glitches that have plagued my attempts to complete the previous games (skyrim too, thank god for console commands and pc in general, altho it took like a year+ for the game to go from low settings at launch, to ultra high with hd texture mods, etc. on the same computer).

At least Fallout gives you a release date for the preorder, you will know when you will be playing it. Has Anet given any date…. but yet they want your money?

It’s just another option for bored veteran players to do, if you bored of SW or World Boss, then run a train for a bit. No harm done, you not going to make a lot of money cause of rng .

This game is getting boring, we need new things to do again…bring back the train. Just scale back exp. and drops for low level. Problem solve, newbs and veterans gets what they want.

If they are going to increase the max number of Bank Tab, then I’ll be interested. Otherwise I will pass. Like OP said, this is mainly for new players, not veterans…as usual.

What’s the point of Healing Spring at all if it doesn’t heal pet nor allies.

It’s one of the very reasons that Rangers are not included in any freaking metabattle groups or best of because we bring the least (we can argue all day long, this is what OTHERS who run WvW BELIEVE) to the “group” table!

I am sick of being told that we don’t matter by the inaction of this company.

Anyone even notice that others are getting “new” elites but Rangers are not?

We bring the least so as many of us have stated before, Rangers need a major revamp.

The way we are now, no other toon is so disrespected or hated.
