I don’t think the ley lines can really be related to the Elder Dragons.

From taumanova, we know that the ley lines are alquemy’s energy, and remember how scarlet call it: “dragon’s energy”.
I strongly believe that ley lines and dragons are conected.

Let mi say with big words that I LOVED THIS STORY!!! congratulationts to the makers of this update, all conversations are interesting, ad finally we have some answers, some conclusions (and for the unanswered questions we had new clues, which is nice).

In other hand, about my theory, i believe that the key point is all about the sylvarys mind and The Dream. All scarlet bad things started when she “opened her mind, revealing what was already inside her”.
I think is a clue, telling us that the silvarys have something in their minds that it is blocked on purpose by the dream. Probably for their own good. I think that would explain the secrets of caithe too, maybe the first borned know all the truth, like scarlet does now, with the difference that they made a pact or they are stronger to deal with that info. Scarlet maybe is more weak, or more crazy and all that revelation has corrupted her, as the pale tree and first borned feared.

About the rest, it is clear that something or someone is comunicating with scarlet, making her doing all this stuff (even when she believes that isdoing it because she wants). She was looking for draon magic, through the ley lines, and she find the peak of her research under Lions arch. A dragon maybe? I believe so, probbably the jungle dragon for the reasons that i comented before.

In any case, Anet, thx for how this story is turning out. Maybe my guesses are not correct but at least you made me think in all that. Thx

I dont like them being a couple. It is fine for me that Marjory was lesbian and hits on Kasmeer, but Kasmeer should say no… Marjory is taking advantage of a depressive kasmeer, who doesn´t know what she really wants. Which is Lord Faren, by the way…XD

No, seriously, there is too much lesbianism in the game in my opinion. I hope this relationship to break in some way. I prefer the tipical three-way relationship that you can find in almost any story rather than this one, which we experienced already with Caithe and Faolain in game.

I have to say that i loved this. Finally a lot of information, and a lot of progression. IN GAME.
Nicely done in my opinion. keep it that way.

I only missed Logan, i expected him to stop at some point but he run away and i couldn’t talk to him.

When i see the picture, I see an image taken form the ground. There is a chest on the left, some design papers on the ground at right, the wooden X are a table’s left legs and a nother paper full of blood on the wall.

In my opinion is a place where scarlet designed their stuff, and there was a big and bloody fight on it, resulting on papers on the floor and blood everywhere.

The reasons, who is implied, etc, i have no clue XD. We’ll see i guess.

I guess that the asura will be a random guy who works on Durmand Priory and He will join the others of the band due that all 4 and the player will go to durmand in search of answers and plans

In baruch bay we have our schedule to kill tequatl 5-6 times everyday (and after each tequatl we go to kill karka queen), so every body on the server can enjoy the fight and the loot. And at the beggining it took a server effort of 4 days to organize everybody and create our killing strategy, we failed time after time on those 4 first days. But this is the situation, months after that: a joined and organized server who succesfully plays together multiple times on a day. All thanks to tequatl (and players, of course XD)
About the wurm, we’ll need to see how it works, but if its like tequatl, in fun, difficulty and loot, i can almost assure that we’ll add it into our Baruch Bay schedule XD.

It seems like the wurm will be a new tequatl. and about the story, it seems a little the same: problems caused by sacarlet and we need to fight against them. Hopefully we really discover something else, something deep on her plots.

What happened to the short stories!?!?
They were enjoyable – though yes, I wouldn’t have had the What Scarlet Saw story up there (at least not in such little details – I probably would have had it expanded and split into two or three, with us finally realize “omg Ceara is Scarlet!” in the final story), and though people complained about them the complaint was more that the info never got into the game like it should, somehow (not the story themselves but the bits and pieces) which has since been getting fixed. So… why stop the stories!?!? BRING THEM BACK! OR I’LL CRY! YOU DON’T WANT A CRYING CHARR DO YOU!?

That’s so nice of you to say. I’m glad you liked the stories. Sometimes we hear so much of what people don’t like that we act on that without realizing that there are plenty of people who do like it. I think there’s a lesson in there somewhere for both fans and for us devs.

I will relay this to Bobby Stein (my boss) and we’ll see. I know I loved writing them, and others did as well. We’ll have to see. But thanks for letting us know you like them.

Keep up the great work! though I might be part of the minority I actually love how the living story is being delivered ! It really feels like time is passing in the world and stuff keeps changing.

Also great work on the attention to detail. When Braham showed up in kessexs hills I went to see if he was also still in cragstead but was surprised that even though few if any people visit cragstead you still took the time to take him away from there so that he wouldnt be in 2 places at the same time. You get extra points for that

However you can find all 4 kashmeer, rox, marjory and braham at the same time in kessex and in the Divinity’s reach pub.

But said that, it doesn’t matter, because at the end of the day, we the players can travel to both places, so they are able to do it too

It is the open space where you have access to all the cities. That little island where the portals are. There is a wp close enough. Is not the area where the closed portals are.

I do think that is lions arch. Even the hallways are similar. The only differences are the angle (probbably the video was took from more down point of view) and the destruction on rata sum portal

At the end of last anet’s video “Our Story So far” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9LrN-LD-ZI) we can appreciate an image of 2 asura portals, that people is discussing that may be the portal from Lion’s Arch to Rata Sum, destroyed… That would fit with evon fears of scarlet hitting on Lion’s Arch.

After that remaining stationed there due to the influx of refugees trying to keep things from getting out of hand despite not having enough people to do the job being demanded of her by the Consortium.

I support 100% the first post. I hate dredge fractal. Its extreamly long and pointless. Reduce the number of dredges please.
I have not encounter this fractal yet, since the patch, but yeah: i expected some changes that, reading these comments… I don’t belive that this happened.

I’m a silvary and he fits pretty well in my personal story. He is one of the first, he is like one my specie’s elders. To me is normal that he will always be more respetable than me.

Did you feel rewarded along the way? because just be honest, the rewards in fractals are bad, right now. You win the same things at 48 that at 28.
So my opinion on this is that you didn’t recieved anything for being lvl 50, and that is why you don’t deserve anything in return if they level down us. You leveled up because you were bored, curious or just because you wanted.
And I’m a lvl 49. I know what i’m talking about. Right now there is no need to be a lvl 50. you don´t win anything special. So lets go to lvl 30 and start to look for better loot and better prizes. and on top of that: new goals and fun. Now we’ll have the goal to lvl up 20 more lvls. Before I was stucked.

From what i understand, the Molten and Aether fractals will be boss fractals (4th in the queue, as alternative to Jade Maw). It is unknown how hard the Thaumanova one will be, but i’d not expect it to be easy (remember, the devs said that in their opinion any fractal should take 20-30 mins, so we really should expect it to be long).

Also, all we know so far is that the fractals will be ordered in a run according to difficulty (with the hardest being last). We don’t know how it might look – perhaps all it means is that in the dredge, colossus, grawl set dredges will end up always last.

From what I understand, both molten and eatherblades will be normal fractals, just removing their final boss, which will appear in the rotation along the tentacles boss.
I dont think that they throw the entire molten or eather dungeons as a final boss fight. It will be only the final boss and maybe some little path before (like tentacles is).

In other hand, I understood that each fractal will be part of one group : easy, medium, and difficult.
And in each run we will always encounter 1 easy, 1 medium and 1 difficult, in order to make the experience more balanced.
If I am right about it, i just would want to know which distribution has each fractal. Is it Collosus considered hard by Anet? is it Ice considered medium?
I know that they have been balanced and we dont know exactly how all will end so that is why I feel more in the shadows… I don’t know which will be the new easies or the news hards…

Have you recently talked with Evon? He is still on his office in LA, saying the same sentence over and over: “I thought that the candidate that spent the more gold wouldbe the one who was supposed to win”… lame.
Evon was supposed to loose from the beggining till the end. In addition , only people from gw1 cares about Abbadon. And they are (and will be even more in the future) a minority.

Regarding this information…:
“Fractals are now weighted according to their length and difficulty. Easier fractals will always show up earlier in the run, with more difficult ones coming later.”

I have this question for the devs: What is going to be the order of the fractals?

It is important, because a I fear that we always are going to face a Dredge fractal or a Grawl fractal in almost every single run…

In my opinion, the easiest ones, and that form part of the 1st fractal that we’ll face are:
-Water
-Swamp
-Ice
-Molten Alliance

as 2nd fractal one of these options:
-Collossus
-Harpies
-Ascalon
-Eatherblades

as 3rd fractal:
-Dredge
-Volcano
-Taumanova

Am I right? Or there is a different distribution in Anet quarters?

How long this event will stay?
From the patch notes, I understand that we, the players, are the ones who determine the duration of the event: the quicker we inyect antitoxin, the faster it will end.
But at the same time, i think that is more possible that the atitoxin inyected bar is just a fix bar that is raising everyday, no matter what the players do.

So… it is fixed and it will stay for a whole month? (due that we are almost one week of event and the bar is almost at 25%)
Or are the players really the force that make that event to progress?

If is the first option, please there is no need to confuse people like you do in the patch notes (at least in the spanish version, i didn´t read the english ones). keep it in mind for next updates.
If is the second option, I will try to convince my guild and friends to return and inyect more antitoxin

I think that the snake’s sound was just a joke referring to the next battle against the hibrid snake. She was making fun of us, like she always do.

I have to say that I love scarlet, she is funny and i want to see more of her. I agree also with some of you who wants to see something deeper from her.
I would want to know more about the krait’s proffet, what he meens to them.

In molten alliance, we learned that the chars were the leaders, and the dragas only want to conquer new territory and not be slaves of anyone.
In this case the nightmare silvarys are the leaders of the alliance, playing with the kraits, who just want their proffets come to live. But I still need to know why they want their proffets come to live.

And on top of all that, why scarlet is doing all this. I agree that we need more revelations or at least more hints.
The living world is supposed to be a tv series (which i love), but the scarlet theme is getting to be like watching the same episode over an over XD

I agree that the story is the lack of these 2 weeks updates. The rest of departments are doing a very good job, in all aspect. The story’s department not so good.
In almost a year they just made parties that ended wrong and alliances that went nowhere.
The only different stuff was the election between kiel and evon, but that went nowhere instantly. Evon is still crying about his loose in lions arch and kiel dissapeared…

In other hand, i like kasmeer and marjory. Great npcs.

Baruch Bay has killed it 4 times now (although I should add to count the “spanish invasions” to other servers that we make some times, so we can avoid excess servers, where we killed it another 3 times).

It took us 4 days but since then tequatl has been killed frecuently.

maybe has been said before, but in Baruch Bay it took 4 days for our first kill. We did it on saturday just after lunch. Since then, Tequatl has died a lot of times again XD.

Let me say from the spanish server that this reboot was amazing. It made a lot of people to come together, talk and practice for days, which has developed new alliances, friendships…

It wasn’t a guild tries, but a server ones.

Really proud of the coordination and organization that we managed to obtain between all people in the server

In the first kill, we left 2 minutes, and 1 and a half in the second kill.

The evon guys should be happy that a bad guy, with 0 lore in his back until a few days ago, and a fractal with very old lore around it, have reached to the 48% of the votes.

I guess that you have spend a lot of money on it, because the logic think would be that the winner was the heroine that we know since a lot of months ago, who makes benefits in the wp and who will bring a fractal of something that people recon.

You should be proud to make the impossible, reach to the 48% of the votes.

But don´t make any mistake, you still have to surpass the 383k votes wall and the kiel suporters have a lot more of the votes who are coming, so think bigger on that difference

In my opinion 383k votes (the difference between kiel and evon) is very big.

And you have to realise that people who support kiel, we still have a lot of votes for her, so the differences would be the same or bigger
