No matter how much testing they do, it’s impossible to get every bug and its impossible to simulate thousands of user in-house. There are some things that seem to work until you the rubber meets the road, that’s just how it is.
That’s not true, i have never seen so many major exploits…ever. Sure they can’t release a patch perfectly bug free, but having small bugs is not the same as having one major exploit every now and then.
Imo, they don’t test their patches much because this kind of stuff is quite easy to see if they did.
I believe what happened in Labyrinth was simply a major bug. They should test patches much more before releasing them…because honestly i can’t even count how many major bugs/exploits i have seen so far, and it’s getting to a ridiculous point where it looks like the best you can do is be online and ready to take advantage of it everytime they patch the game.
I’m glad this game is mainly based on skins…because if it was a normal mmorpg then the game would be so screwed no one would play anymore unless rollbacks were made everytime this happens (which seems to be quite often).

Could someone clarify what exotics were dropping exactly? I missed it T-T
Apart from all kind of exotics, they were dropping also the ones from halloween event meant to be crafted only, Arachnophobia, The Mad Moon and The Crossfire, and also Legendary precursors.
As result, major economy screw up tho it’s not a big deal…but poor the ones who spent 200g+ crafting these items to find them for 15-40g now (well not anymore, price is raising).
HOW farm the first appropriate loot in the game from a boss could be considered exploiting?
What? Do you think items that are worth 200g+ dropping like candy was appropriate? They are supposed to come only from crafting to begin with. Their stock on auction raised from 0 or 1 to dozens, i won’t even go into detail about all the ones sold and stock by players. Also legendary precursors dropped (i think), major bug/exploit worth a rollback (even tho i’m happy i got arachnophobia for 34g).
As you can see halloween exotics price has raised a lot since this patch, so get them while they are still “cheap”.
They don’t love to nerf things, they love to release patches with so many exploits that it’s not even fun
Exotics still drop, but i think you won’t get crafted halloween ones anymore, or precursors.
Quite easy once you pretty much know the first part a bit, the hardest part is actually going ahead of the zerg so you can actually see, once most of them fall it’s pretty easy
Did it with my 5 characters, the trick is trying to go first.
Well, so get one of these exotics while they cost pretty much 1/20 of their real value, no risk!
We will see if they fixed it or not quite fast…if halloween exotics start raising their price like hell then you will know what happened
New build incomming…possible fix to the “exploit”? Let’s see…
Meanwhile mad moon sells for 15g…the recipe costs more than that ^^
The two chests are from two events in mad king’s labyrinth, these events appear every half hour or so and chests have very high chance of dropping exotics, halloween ones from crafting included and probably legendary precursors too.
Either way, get your hands on these halloween skins now that they are cheap…because i believe this wasn’t intended.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
I’ve seen people linking precursors on chat during these events, not sure if trolling or if they drop aswell from the chest…oh god this is gonna be fun to watch
Well, did you even think about people who spent hundreds of gold crafting one to find a few days later they wasted hundreds of gold?
These exotics were meant to be crafted, they didn’t come from BLC or anything…so if they were gonna do this why make them craftable to begin with? I’m happy i got my arachnophobia for like 30g…but i feel sorry for those who spent hundreds for no reason at all.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
i have to say that’s great to hear, the whole event was a massive flop but now people who don’t have the hours to grind for ~150g worth of mats(or even not have to participate in the event because there craftable at any time..) can now grind the events in hopes of getting one of the weapons
They should at least have made them soulbound don’t you think? I find it quite silly…really. Actually i’m glad this happens because otherwise i wouldn’t get any of these skins…but what’s next…legendaries dropping from a chest aswell?
Now i ask myself why they made them craftable to later on drop them on event chests without even saying anything…i find it quite silly, i feel actually bad for people who crafted that stuff.
I would like to know the explanation of this…because if this is another bug/exploit then Anet should really test much more their patches before releasing them.
So, did i miss something? Why did halloween exotics price drop to…like 20-40g if the cost to make them is about 200g? Do they drop somewhere now?
kitai, get the 30% critical damage for pets trait, imo it’s a must have and yeah, horn purpose is mainly to spend less time running overall, torch is fine for killing if you are using sword as main weapon, axe is good as offhand tho.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Karma armor is 100x more a waste than weapons, karma stats can be found from dungeons, and pretty much the only worth to buy from Karma as ranger is the power/vit/dur set which you can get from Ascalon very fast (2h at most for a piece?)
Save gold for jewerly and karma for skins mainly (legendary included). Karma purpose is skins for the most part, there is nothing wrong with getting a rare weapon/armor skin that you can later use on your good stats but ugly as hell exotic item.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Take the traps trait so you can throw them, use 3 traps that do damage in your skills bar, longbow for barrage and shortbow for tagging mobs fast with autoattack and piercing arrows trait, this is what i mostly used to do and works just fine…it’s not the best class for that, but it’s pretty decent.
Axe is pretty much useless, slow attack speed and by the time you throw it twice mobs are usually dead, shortbow is much better for mobs tagging and piercing arrows trait do wonders.
What i mostly do is throw traps and use shortbow for tagging, then use barrage when traps are on cooldown and switch to shortbow fast to keep tagging mobs. If you waste traps + barrage on events that spawn waves of mobs fast you will find yourself with no AoE for the next wave…so, first wave traps + shortbow, second wave barrage+ shortbow, third wave traps (at least fire trap will be recharged by then) and shortbow, or just shortbow tagging if traps are not ready yet.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
I mostly run wolf/dog combo, both knock down which is quite handy when someone gets close to you, most of the time in passive mode so they use their knock down when i really need it.
I don’t understand why half of the QQ posts are from rangers who are not even 80 and well geared.
WvW is not an optimal place for ANY class not level 80 with level 80 exotics, they will do more damage than you and tank more than you.
I go full berseker and my barrage does pretty much 700-1500+ per hit which is quite good. A couple of autoattacks, rapid fire + QZ + Barrage and it can pretty much burst down a medium/light armor target.
It’s not like it takes a lot to be lvl 80 and have full exotics…with about 20g you can buy full jewerly and some armor/weapon if you are so impatient to get it through dungeons (which is quite fast aswell).
Full berseker gear stats on my ranger:
2,379 power 3,459 attack
1,911 precision 51% crit chance/91% crit damage
1,016 toughness 2,080 armor
916 vitality 15,082 health
My only problem with this squishy build in WvW are thieves and sometimes mesmers. As a ranger you usually initiate first, and this is what i like about WvW as ranger. Pets have their uses…having them on aggressive mode is useless tho, you have to control your pet so it does what you want it to do in the right moment…
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
I simply believe rangers are on drugs or dreaming a lot. They are gonna make changes…yes. But if you expect them to change ranger class so much to the point of making it incredibly overpowered (because honestly, most of the changes i see on this thread are ridiculous funny to read) you can’t be more wrong.
Stuff you can expect, QZ working properly with shortbow…20% increased hp on spirits, 10% AoE damage reduction to pets, some traits changed here and there…but stuff that won’t ever be added is giving rangers crap like pets having twice the HP they have, attack while in movement and all sort of things like buffing shortbow (really, they nerfed it on purpose a few weeks ago and you expect them to buff it).
Nerf/buffs are usually sightly changes, they won’t affect the class directly that much unless it was already very overpowered.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Loki, tier 1 and 2 probably can be gotten from elsewhere, but first…these cost a ridiculous low amount of karma, and second…you won’t find T3 weapon skins for gold (as far as i know). People pays 50-300g on skins right now, i’m pretty sure that spending 63k karma is far from expensive because that’s like 5h of karma farm at most.
I believe the OP wants to know some cool looking shortbows that can be bought with karma, not if he should or not spend karma.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
You won’t find T3 karma weapons anywhere else, otherwise they wouldn’t cost karma. I haven’t found mine anywhere so far, if you do let me know, i didn’t check every cultural T3 weapon tho
Also, karma now is much easier to get and i believe they will probably make it easier in the future, 45k karma for month achievement, 4.5k for daily achievement and 1.8k per dungeon…it’s like 6-10k karma without farming it for pretty much everyone that plays an hour or two.
I’ve gotten 5/6 pieces of karma set and T3 weapon and i don’t regret it…back then you could gain 15k+ karma per hour anyways, karma is not hard to earn…it’s just boring and dull to farm events.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Why is bad spending karma? Not everyone wants a legendary, I myself bought the peacemaker’s longbow and i don’t regret it, to me it looks 100x better than legendary bows will ever look. The karma skin will last you forever because you can simply transmute it to your next weapon.
However i don’t think there are many Karma Shortbows that look any decent i’m afraid, but it’s a matter of taste.
For the record, T1 skins are not the same as T3 skins.
On armor i agree that spending karma is not that great unless you really love the skin.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Remember sword doesn’t hit just one target, so axe is not really that good if you pull two mobs either. Torch fits well to a trapper ranger because considering you build into trapper i guess you would use condition gear. Only reason to use horn is to have buff speed every now and then, leveling and completing maps is all about running from point A to point B, so if you don’t care that much about that use torch or whatever weapon fits you best.
You even said yourself you stopped leveling your ranger….which makes me think you didn’t really do many dungeons, pets are not bad, people simply don’t know and don’t wanna know how to use them.
Their major flaw is they can’t hit targets that keep running (not entirely true, there are ranged pets for a reason) , they die “easily” to AoE damage, yes…a few places will one shot your pet….but very few to even dare to say pets are useless. Their F2 and other skills have too long casting time, but that’s pretty much it.
I have no problem with them in the majority of dungeons…pets die, but so does people, no one else noticed some people also die from AoE?
People really shouldn’t base their conclusions on what they “hear”, because you know…then everyone would be playing thief/warrior
I believe some people really expects too much from a Ranger, get real, whatever changes they make it’s just gonna be sightly better than it currently is in some aspects, they aren’t gonna turn ranger into a demigod or a tanky killing machine.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Leveling? Quite rarely, it can die sometimes, but dying to two normal mobs as you said? Hell no.
In PvP pets have their uses, i wouldn’t say bad, but they need some rework for stuff like pets staying with you when you are in certain spots and some of their skills should cast faster.
You should adapt your pet to different situations, a dead pet is useless so there is no reason to say “i don’t want a tanky pet but i’m gonna keep sending my weak pet to multiple mobs”, it’s like saying i want to attack from range but i’m going to use my fists.
A good way of having your pet always alive is using a good damage dealer as main pet and the most tanky pet as secondary…that way when your squishy pet is about to die you swap to bear and if your bear is tanky enough to wait 15-20 seconds.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
I would love being able to make a NM ranger, i hope the spirit/traits reword is well done, it’s something i’m looking for. However, outside the spirits there is not much we get from NM, and it doesn’t boost our healing spring by much except the duration even with full healing gear :O
There are a few interesting traits in NM but i don’t know…

Akisame, that’s right, Warrior have better burst so it’s quite common they kill weak mobs faster. Ranger damage is pretty much always the same because our main damage comes from autoattack but on high HP targets our damage is just as good. Let’s say we hit for 2k per second over 30 seconds, but other classes instead of sustained DPS have burst skills that deal 5-15k instantly, in the first few seconds their DPS will be higher but after a while it becomes pretty much the same. The numbers are just an example.
The main issue with Ranger is the pet plays an important role in our damage, but in certain situations they deal no damage because they die or can’t hit. Like for example when we stand on top of a wall/roof and hit targets that are not on our same spot the pet will simply stay there with you, or like you said when you kite our melee pets will simply keep chasing the target most of the times not doing any damage.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Sword is good, but it’s not a primary weapon. Since the Shortbow nerf QZ is not ideal for SB, therefor switching to sword to use QZ and kill a mob or two quickly is great, you won’t have any problem taking a couple of hits from normal monsters. Second skill from sword can be used to evade and also to leap, if you use it backwards and turn around your camera canceling your target to leap afterwards you will find yourself having a pretty solid weapon that can be used to escape quite well if needed.
Axe is ranged and does “little” damage compared to the majority of weapons, Axe offhand is also great because the last skill makes decent amount of damage and reflects projectiles but horn buff is simply too useful.
For a decent trapper build you need the trait that allows you to throw traps which makes them larger (20 points into skirmishing).
It simply depends on how you want to level up, BM is probably the “safest and fastest” but not very fun, traps are very good but they are more of a build to be made when you have proper gear in my opinion.
Ranged pets damage is “low” and they are weak (except devourers, they are very tanky), and birds flaw is they give celerity before they attack (a buff not really needed to kill mobs) and lose a second or two before they start attacking.
Using a bear + a damage dealer pet is good, in fact that’s what i mostly did while leveling, using a feline as main pet and bear situational when i needed a tank. But the reason behind using 2 same pets is also that having BM traits you gain quickness for 2 seconds everytime you swap your pets which is quite convenient.
Either way, the build you use it’s up to you and your style, for leveling anything will work as a ranger, pet is still strong without traits.

All i keep reading from you is sPvP blah blah blah tPvP blah blah blah.
I said it countless times, i know exactly how it is sPvP and tPvP and i know ranger doesn’t have variety in builds choice for it, and the one/ones it has are very limited at it, but “your narrow mind” won’t ever understand that.
Oh i’m so glad devs answered saying they were gonna make changes, however don’t set your expectations that high, mind you? I don’t even think they are going to turn around Ranger class magically and fix so many flaws in a blink of eye.
Devs never said anywhere that rangers are below other classes, they said ranger has many semi useless skills/traits which is completely different.
Do you even play anything besides sPvP/tPvP? All i see is is tPvP this sPvP that…everyone knows how ranger is in there, i never said otherwise. Post those dear tests comparing Ranger to other classes, because so far all i have seen is people crying because QZ doesn’t work properly with shortbow…OH MY GOD WE ARE DOOMED!
I never claimed that Ranger is a beast in sPvP/tPvP, i said Ranger can be played perfectly FINE in PvE, WvW and PvP (Player Versus Player, that’s not sPvP or tPvP, it’s simply PvP)
Now, is it just me that knows GW2 actually has PvP and not just sPvP/tPvP or am i simply on drugs? Guess i need my medication….
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
That depends on how you feel/play through dungeons, if you die a lot then yeah, stack vit or toughness.
I run full berseker’s shortbow build and works just fine so far, secondary weapon can be longbow or anything you like. I don’t really like condition builds because bleed stack is capped at 25 and some groups reach the cap quite fast.
I’ve tried GS, Axe, traps, condition builds and nothing compares with full berseker Shortbow, also longbow as secondary is ok coupled with QZ to throw a quick rapid fire + barrage every now and then.
Dante, the OP doesn’t really care about sPvP/tPvP, and pets are not that important in WvW, if you solo roam pets will still be useful sometimes tho, i mostly take advantage of them when i’m downed and someone tries to finish me off, dog type pets are simply the best for that.
True fact is that for leveling pets= semigods, every 15 seconds pet on full HP coupled with your heal, no reason for a pet to die, what other class has like a second character that can heal itself every 15 seconds, regen HP in combat with Sigil of the Wild and heals doing critical hits while at the same time you can heal it with your own heal?
Try switching the pet BEFORE it dies, with BM mastery it was like 15 seconds cooldown, that’s more than enough for a tanky pet to survive, coupled with some tricks like putting it on passive and kiting if you need a few more seconds…the mob will still chase the pet and meanwhile you hit them.
Spec into BM and pet won’t die to 2-3 mobs… i mostly used felines while leveling and never had a problem with pets dying, except against certain bosses from events or 5+ mobs but that’s pretty normal. Also if you tend to aggro many mobs just switch to a bear, ranger has the tools…if some people don’t wanna use them it’s not ranger’s fault.
If you think ranger is weak for leveling, then don’t ever make a mesmer or something like that because that’s truly weak at lower levels, I’ve tried warrior, guardian and mesmer and all of them have a harder time soloing maps than ranger, with a ranger it’s just easy mode. And btw Warrior and Guardian are quite nice for soloing maps aswell, but Ranger is 10x safer and easier in most scenarios.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Ranger weak at leveling? First time i read that
It’s a class that can solo really well, pets are really strong for leveling. Shortbow + Pet traits (30% pet crit damage, pet heals on crits, etc) and you will barely need to heal your pet, normal mobs go mostly after your pet until really later on. It can solo through anything during leveling, absolutely zero problems soloing veteran mobs or skill points.
It can even get boring for rangers to be that easy…tab>1 while you watch a movie even on higher level mobs.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
@Sleepy
Even with full berserk gear it doesnt shine compared to other weps. I just hope they take the right steps with this weapon. Even if they dont buff its damage I would be happy with obstruction fixes and increased projectile speed, and weapon attack speed.
Other weapons…shortbow? Because axe or GS damage are horrible, sword is pretty good but risky. I find my longbow quite decent, traited with long range increase you can actually do 2-3k+ autoattack crits which is alright, barrage crits have aswell a fine amount of damage. My only issue with it is that arrows are so easy to evade from such a long range. Also QZ + Rapid Fire + Barrage is a good combo after using vulnerability.
The problem is damage decreases a lot if you are not in max range.
And obviously longbow is not the optimal weapon for sPvP/tPvP, you will rarely be in max range without someone jumping on you
But i do agree longbow needs some buffs or a trait that makes arrows fly faster or something.
If i were you i would use Shortbow as main weapon and sword/horn secondary (mainly for the speed buff which helps a lot going from place to place).
For traits/skills, that’s more a matter of taste, but i’d use full BM traits first until you get your second traits unlocked. Pets are awesome for PvE and will most likely do more damage than you and also tank for the most part. I would even use full BM/Skirmishing spec for leveling because you won’t have that much damage by yourself until you get some decent amount of stats in your gear and your pet will be scary
If you are not that much into the pet then go Markmanship first and add choose the 10% damage increase with full endurance when you have 10 points on and unlock piercing arrows when you reach 20 points.
I also like 10 points into Wilderness Survival to get the 50% damage reduction from failing, it’s great to not having to worry about jumping from somewhere or making a mistake trying to do a puzzle/vista.
As skills goes, for healing i’d take Healing Spring, its condition removal is a must have, because many times you have poison and the other heals won’t be as effective.
For the rest of skills it’s a matter of choice, i like signets for leveling, Signet of the Wild is awesome for its passive health regeneration in combat, helps you and your pet to stay alive. Signet of the Hunt is also great for the 10% running speed, leveling involves a lot of running, and the third slot is more optional, i’d use Quickening Zephyr for some burst damage (don’t use it with Shortbow, switch to sword and use QZ, it’s better unless you can’t stay in melee during 4-5 seconds) every now and then or Signet of the Stone to make your pet last longer against tough fights like killing a champion monster.
Pets, i’d take 2 bears and 2 cats if possible, any bear and jaguar/any other feline. Bears mainly for tanky situations, you switch pets before killing for example a veteran monster or skill point monster, and Felines for everything else…they have the most dps in my opinion.
That’s mostly for solo leveling and completing maps, if what you want is event farm then you would have to spec into Skirmishing Trapper and Markmanship piercing arrows.
For PvP in WvW, Longbow and Sword/Horn, mainly for barrage and long range, but by the time you are 80 you should know what spec fits you best.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Longbow needs to be used properly to hit like SB or harder than SB, it’s not a weapon to be used for everything like shortbow.
Shortbow problem is bleeds, in groups usually bleed stack is quite useless but it still does great damage without bleed and doesn’t force you to stay at max range to do better damage.
Now…Longbow pretty much needs full berseker gear in order to shine and being able to stay far away from your target is a requirement, so that makes it not the best weapon to kill mobs. But sure it needs some love from Anet.

I don’t call bad players to anyone that disagree with me, but there are plenty of comments saying ranger is the worst class for BOTH PvE and PvP even stating that any other class does much higher dps in PvE which is a joke.
And if you didn’t notice, most of them just quote the SB nerf as the biggest nerf in history when it’s a complete joke of nerf, no one can actually notice it outside QZ and you can still use QZ/quickness from pet with other weapons. Pre SB nerf ranger was decent but after the nerf “ohhh god it’s unplayable and the worst class”…yea…right.
You just agreed with me that ranger PvP can hold its own, it just lacks variety of builds and more oriented sPvP/tPvP traits/mechanism.
As i said plenty of times, to me PvP is not sPvP nor tPvP, sure it’s a form of PvP. The only PvP this game has is not sPvP, and that’s where some people fail to understand, some people will like WvW and others will like sPvP more, both have PvP aspect but WvW can offer you “World PvP” feeling, not just zergs.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
Greetings. I’ve been going through topics here recently and all i saw was “rangers suck after the SB nerf” and “they are not competitive in pvp” and so on. Is it true? I started off as a ranger, can’t say i got far, but since i read those topics im starting to have second thoughts, if there is a point in leveling a ranger at all. Any help would be appreciated.
If you like ranger go ahead and play it, i enjoy mine and it’s perfectly playable in both PvP and PvE.
Whoever says ranger was playable before the SB nerf but now it’s not playable…just don’t listen to that crap, the real SB nerf is mainly QZ, which you can still use with another weapon and then switch back to SB.
And yes, there is a point in leveling a ranger when you like the class, changes are made and skills change with patches/time, and on top of it…you already know the ranger can’t get much worse through patches unlike other classes that are most likely to get nerfed over and over for months.
I have 460+ hours on my ranger and a total of 490+ hours across all characters…so guess what? I just like ranger
In short, don’t really listen to QQers, otherwise everyone would be a warrior/thief.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
I’m glad they are making these changes, but i think people is settings their hope way too high, i would wait until changes are made to shout “Victory” because being honest i don’t expect anything to be as people wants it…maybe they increase spirits hp by 15% or something like that and then you all will be like…“QQ patch is crap” :P
So let’s just wait till changes come before we start making sacrifices to please Anet gods.

No one said ranger is fine, it needs tweaking but all the ones who say it’s the worst for PvE and PvP simply need to play better their ranger, period.
You can just say that ranger is not good for sPvP overall, but not being good in sPvP doesn’t mean it’s bad for PvP, they are two completely different things, if someone fails to understand that go ahead and play another class convinced that ranger is the worst one.
I bet you won’t see a decent ranger complaining that they are crap for PvP and PvE, most of the ones who QQ like that are the ones who fail at using one properly.

Sleepy- spvp is the only place you can hope to acertain class balance. It is ridiculous to even bring up WvW in any discussion of class balance.
Also your point about rangers not having the tools to “capturing/holding” points but being good at killing is just silly- sure ranger is not a good bunker, but taking points involves either killing or quickly getting to an undefended point, one which you claim ranger is good at and the other you can get with the right build.
WvW is great and all, but boasting about how you own undergeared players in that gankfest is hardly a measure of your skill or class strength.
And getting killed because you have to stay inside a small circle is not what a ranger is meant to do, join sPvP and do real PvP not caring about capturing and you will find that ranger is ok, conclusion? sPvP system is the issue.
Ranger is perfectly fine doing PvP vs most of the classes, why does it have to kill someone in 2 seconds or stand still because a crappy battleground forces you to do so?
I really hope they implement 1v1, 2v2 arenas to find the real balance and not the balance based on a crappy battleground that simply makes use of the classes with more escapes/burst/tanky builds

I have no problems beating almost every class in 1v1 on sPvP, however ranger builds don’t fit well into the capturing/holding because it offers less than other classes which is VERY DIFFERENT from the class being bad or not being able to kill anything, it just doesn’t fit that well into the sPvP premades because it’s not a class made to stay INSIDE a circle.
Everyone is not equal on sPvP, because it’s a capture/hold battleground, your goal is not to kill someone but to hold/capture a point and that’s where the ranger fails because it’s not that good at doing that but it’s perfectly fine at killing, needs a bit tweaking and rework but it’s hard from unplayable.
And i can tell in WvW if the one i just killed was outgeared or not, it’s not really hard to see your enemy armor/damage.
Also, sPvP is not a perfect example of balance, not even in tourneys, a lot of people joins with bad builds/stats…it’s like killing an undergeared player in WvW.
I don’t know why people keeps talking about sPvP as if it was the perfect balance battleground, it’s just a place where X builds/classes are better than others and it will always be like that, if the point of sPvP was to kill the enemy things would be completely different. WvW is not just zerg, you can solo roam and find plenty of geared 80’s doing the same, which is the closest thing to world PvP you will get in GW2.
And thief does a lot of stuff simply because it’s overpowered as hell vs many classes, you can’t give plenty of escape and tons of burst damage to a class, that’s simply wrong.
Whoever thinks sPvP is about PvP…i’m sorry for you.
(edited by Sleepy.2647)
One of my higher levels is a guardian, very sad that heals don’t count in mob tagging.
Yea, too bad guardians are like one of the best classes for mob tagging with staff autoattack ^^
the more the weeks go by the more apparent ArenaNET never intended wuvwuv to be as popular as it is. It was simply here for everyone to join and play casually. sPVP is what they’re interested in and their actions all reflect it
I don’t think they are going to get really far with sPvP as it is, it would have better future if the goal was to kill the enemy team because capturing/holding points is REALLY boring and limits the game to a few builds/classes.
They should introduce some sort of arenas 1v1, 2v2 etc, that would be fun.
