I wanted to just say thank you for all the friendly messages I’ve picked up on here / in game from people across all servers, I dunno how people find out things sometimes but it’s nice to know that we here in GW2 have a decent and supportive community (even if we do all troll like bosses).

Can someone from SoR tell me who are those other guilds are besides ZD, I am honestly confused?
It’s hard to explain SoR’s performance besides low morale when you guys were beating us last week this time or the last time we guys met before League starts. EU time hasn’t even started yet….
Pssssst. Do a search for your server mate Smokee’s past posts. I think he QQ’ed about the impact of what’s the big deal over One guild IRON for months on end. Now substitute IRON for ZD’s and you will get your answer.

I did what? I welcomed IRON to NA servers. Also I werent around for 4+ months after IRON transfered.
Its funny hearing all these SoR talk about queue times on BG, when fact is BG as the only server didnt have queued maps in 4 out of 5 timezones in week 1. Then close to half of our SEA forces left us, and the closest thing we could get to a replacement was ZD, that plays in late SEA / early EU. In before you guys saying we got queues now, let me just say that we still dont have queues in other timezones than PST.
If you want to have a serious discussion about coverage, lets base it on facts and not on bs like that.
Personally I don’t care who outnumbers who at what timezone as long as we get in good fights
Thats the key issue here. With so few EU guids on NA servers, even with the rescent transfers, every guild moving here is making a huge impact. We that play in this timezone just want to make sure that the server we play on dont get super stacked. Heck I even know of some IRON guys that´s been feed up with nothing to fight for weeks, and who would have thought that´d been possible?
Right now the only really fights BG EU gets is vs. SoR ( and the other way around I guess ) – What I´d really hope to see is 3 or more NA guilds with a healthy amount of EU players anad guilds.
So far [HB] have been mentioned more than 20 times in this thread and only once has it been by a HB member. I just want to point out that I personally welcome any EU guild to NA servers, but I think ZD should have joined JQ to even out the EU numbers. However they might have been stuck in SEA queues there so Im not really sure where they should have gone instead. Maybe TC or mag?
Last week I aproached Indo asking him if we could make some kind of arrangement about pointing potential EU guilds towards JQ. At that time I didnt know about the ZD transfer. It seems my lack of avaible playtime have decreased my influence and with that the info avaible to me within the Blackgate leadership. I have in this and in previous games worked hard towards ballanced servers, and I will continue to do so. However I´ve come to the conclusion that my influence because of the previously mentioned is currently second to none, and because of that might as well not give a kitten.
Indo if you´r reading this, I hope you know I had the best of the NA tier 1 in mind when I approached you.
To IRON I just want to say that I love hating you guys, and that I wish Wrex all the best.
The Idea of a properly balanced T1 sounds amazing, but at the same time to good to be true.
At least you and some others are trying to get balance in T1
I dont care about ballance in T1, I care about ballance in EU and EST ( where I play ) – With so few EU guilds on NA servers I actually think a somewhat ballanced T1 is doable, and atleast a T1 with all 3 servers having enough guilds so no one gets bored.
Back when BG was stuck in T2 for 4 weeks with nothing to fight ( in EU ) we ( HB ) lost more members than we did in the 4 months when I took a break from the game. Like I told Choc today, having nothing to fight hurts morale alot more than having to fight mapblobs in all our tz as the only ones. Please understand that this point of view does not reflect all of BG or necessarily all of BG eu guilds. Heck I know that some, if not alot within HB disagree with me. I love having to fight alongside RK and Coin, but when I look back at my time in GW2 I still remember my open field fights vs. RG as some of the best I´ve had in GW2. In other words I want to fight the best guilds out in there in my TZ and have the best guilds out there not in my TZ on my server

I think it’s about time BG start to implement plans to temporarily transfer BG guilds to JQ during the JQ/SoR match-up
Why would we transfer to a server with 24/7 queues on all 4 maps?
I enjoy knowing that I can log on no matter what day, or what time of the day it is, and be able to form up my 15-20 guys without a q.
Also most of our oce coverage already left for JQ, half of our SEA left last week, we dont have any EST guilds, so Im not really sure what guilds it is you want to move? Sure we could move ovef some EU guilds, but im sure theyd rather spend a few weeks back on the EU servers.
The only time bg have queues is in PST and that is because of the achievemebt hunters.

In HB we call 1-3 roaming, 4-7 havoc, 8-12 small scale and 13+ a fighting force. Seeing you call a 40 man EU group small scale, makes me wonder how many you aim to have in the least played timezone on NA servers?

SoR now have 3 eu guilds and BG 2 please JQ get some eu guilds so Tarkus (Waha?) dont burn out for pulling extra

BG has 3 EU guilds ( Coin, RK and HB ). Though none of these guilds fields every day, I would still say we have 3 EU guilds. Also you shouldnt forget SR on JQ. I know they may be to small for you guys to fight, but I know they give us a good fight.

JQ, just focus BG for the rest of the match-up. If SoR attacks our keeps let them have the points. If BG attacks SoR attack BG and stop them.
JQ may not take fisrt but BG will get third.
Since BG is all kitten because they didn’t want to play the weeks before and ended up with what they think is the short end of the stick make their QQ come true.
Keep in mind that calls by only one server to try and institute a 2v1 on another usually backfires in that it kitten es off the people targeted and also makes the second party to want to spite you. We’ll try and show respect if you do – keep the vitriol to the minimum please.
Dont worry, SoR is a much better fight so we will keep fighting each other and leave you guys to your stacked queues and your pvdoor while we have some fun.

Ya Coin looked like they were having fun, so we were just standing back watching them. No reason to add on an even fight. Plan was to /sit but there was so much skill lag it wouldnt let us. Then you guys jumped in and skill lag turned into hell so we thought the server had crashed. Good fights all over though.

Hey Iron, would you like to explain how you got thru a gate, you had two rams up on, that still had most of it’s HP??? This Mesmer was outside when I Death from Above’d you. And, if you did get in accidentally, why didn’t you leave?

At least we can roam is packs of less than 5-10 (this is the typical case with SoR as i very rarely run into roamers of less than 5). Take some lessons from JQ before you pass judgement on roamers- SoR from all of my encounters runs unless they outnumber you greatly.
SoR also could take some lessons in behavior. This forum all week has been plagued with their kitten and tantrums. Too hard to white knight when you are winning SoR? SoRe losers and SoRe winners.
I dunno about the others but around eu we runs in small groups no bigger than 5 unlike TC who blob 6/7 and then bg with like 10. But then there is that rare occasion of a small group..

It started off as some unofficial fighting between IRON and COIN for fun. As its unofficial i wont say how it went, but after COIN got smashed repeatedly suddenly they were running with help, they blobbed, we blobbed…………………….
So 21 Coin ( amount of ppl in their TS channel ) fighting IRON + loads of pugs called in 18 HB ( a total of 39 ) which left us still outnumbered compared to you, and you had to call in a karma train map zerg to help you out? Impressive skills indeed.
Last night was a lot of fun on BG BL… Thanks to all the SOR who kept things lively and fun in TS, even for those of us just standing in hills staring at the snow.
It certainly was a rough night for BG. I respect those BG who stayed in BG BL and kept fighting us. [EE] guild in particular stuck it out and continued hitting whatever they could when there were hardly any other BG on map. [ND], [PLX], and [OnS] were also in map with sizeable forces later on, after we completed garri WP, but at that point it was too late and there wasn’t much they could do against those upgraded keeps. Still, it was obvious BG either just gave up entirely, or they are sorely missing [MERC]…. Probably a combination of both.
Which leads to something I hope SOR leadership bears in mind: If BG is truly missing [MERC], then we should be very mindful of how much stronger JQ is going to be the next time we face them. Maybe the difference one (or a few) new guilds makes won’t be substantial, but [MERC] not being there (in full force) certainly looked like it has hurt BG in a big way. I’m really looking forward to seeing how much stronger JQ is now.
Anyway, thanks again to the SOR who kept things fun and to the BG who kept fighting even though it wasn’t your night. I felt particularly bad killing the Necro [DEAD] at orchard because, even though he had to run from an earlier ruin fight against me, he still stood and fought me that second time (even when it became obvious he was going to die). I would have /saluted you, but your attack surprised me so much that I was too busy spinning the camera around looking for your friends.
I can only talk for EU and EST, but in these timezones we´ve seen more than a doubled amount of SoR forces compared to what we are used to see. Even though BG have had more people out aswell, the difference in pure numbers has just grown to big.

considering that we went out looking for fights, not karma training, with out 30ish people we had online, everything in your post is null and void. We asked people to come and have some fun fights, but after roflstomping all over Biebertrix and COIN, he cried for help and in came both RK and HB to run with him and megablob everything.
Not fun to play with 2 fps due to your huge numbers. But we did however get some fighting and got quite a lot of bags too so it wasn’t all bad. But if you continue this we will, however, be forced to respond in kind, tag up and pull a map blob to counter your map blob come next week. If, that is, what you want. Accept reality, we all run with about equal numbers in wvw, anything else is just propaganda from one side or another. You rolling in with a map blob to “counter” us is really just praise and we thank you for it.

about the blob thing, you’re at least twice our numbers every time we face you. we’re usually never more than 30-35 iron in wvw at any given time.

I hope those of you that dont enjoy massivly outnumbering the enemy is glad to see new EU guilds here on NA as well. I could imagine it have been borring at times, to have an EU guild on NA that fields 40+ and everyone else running around in groups of 15-25.

I thought about PVE after i saw the matchup was Jade blob quarry and Black mega blob Gate, but you guys are a bag fest like I’ve never seen.

But yeah, JQ mega blobs, BG mega blobs, SoR mega blobs, most other servers mega blob. Hey, guess what, FA even mega blobs, any news here other than you simply and only pointing out BG as mega blob? No.
As for bags, FA drops far more bags than JQ or SoR does; do all you guys wear zerker gear or what?
PPT rofl. In order to get PPT we’d have to be able to get past the 20ish at every spawn. Why would we play for PPT you guys are just going to night cap everything. Sounds like you need new terminology. Here we go there’s zergs, big zergs, mega zergs, baby blobs, blobs, and mega blobs. FA zergs, and mega zergs maybe on reset you’ll see a blob. BG is map blobs pretty much 24/7 with a slavish desire for PPT. There is no rewards for winning PPT as we all know so it’s obviously about fights, which to your credit you bring with all the bags that come from it (not seeing a lot of running like TC or DB).
In regards to gear it just makes the point of your blobbing again. We don’t normally need full PVT cause we’re fighting much, much smaller fights. You guys need all that armor for fighting BvB out there 24/7. To compare us to SOR or JQ is just laughable as they have to deal with you monkeys all the time so of course they PVT it up. Despite that anywhere near even numbers gear doesn’t matter as the OVERALL skill level is so lacking on your part.
The news is man for man JQ, FA, Mag, hell even EB are better than you. We have fought them all in recent weeks, all the PVT and PPT in world can’t save BG from the simple undeniable fact that for the most part you are simply a coverage meat grinder and that’s it.
Sounds like you´ve been farmed to much by BG. Maybe spend more time in wvw and less time on the forums. Im sure you could use the practise.
Noo I would have stayed! I was pumped to see you as well but I had to leave to watch a football game. You caught us woth out pants down in north camp and i had to leave right after that. Was going to whisper you. We’re a later guild so didn’t think I’d see you guys around but started early today cause I knew I’d be gone. We’ll be back in about three hours. We’ll try to be on early enough to see you tomorrow.

That is probably the only fight that had manageable skill lag from all of reset. Pretty disappointed to see AoI running 60+ and not breaking up into a couple groups after the first 10 minute rush on reset but I guess if that’s how deep your guild runs more power to you.
Honestly I’m pretty happy to see this matchup so long that you guys realize you can afford to run smaller than 1 map zerg/map and get much better fights. Looking forward to fighting KnT and LotD if they are still around and not doing the blob.
If you dont like fighting big blobs, then why did you leave bg bl when you were up against 2 bg groups of 15-20? Was so excited to see you guys running, and then you left after 2 fights.
