Yeah, not sure how long it’s been bugged but my team mates in TPvP have asked me to stop using QZ to stomp.

Also Runes of the Water and Runes of the Flock don’t proc any of there effect’s you only get the state bonuses.

So many new bugs with the latest updates.

Is anyone else finding Zephyr’s Speed not working when you try to stomp someone in TPvP under the effect of quickness.

It does the action but it doesn’t give you the stomp and you have to re-do the stomp at normal speed.

Can someone please confirm this, or am I the only one having this problem.

In TPvP, QZ+Stomp doesn’t work anymore… Not sure if I’m the only one but I can’t stomp while under QZ from my pet….

Does no one use EB anymore. My team mate runs engineer allot so we spend hours training in SPvP just need watch few things and you get the upper hand, also Entangle is really good vs engineers elite…

Kill videoes like this are a bit laughable because all defeats are omitted, but I would LOVE to see a few duels versus heavy condition builds. Your build has no condition removal at all. I am assuming little condition damage as well so you can not duel other bunkers for a kill within any reasonable timeframe. Also yes, you do spam buttons a bit. You show that you know when to pop certain skills, but sometimes it is a spam. No worries, I tend to dodge spam too.

I do fine against heavy condition builds, the only class I have problem against is Engineers that are using Point holding build, with all there knockdown on a point I can’t hold it, other then thakittens walk in the park.

I have condition remove, everyone keeps saying I have no condition remove. If anything goes to show how little people really know about the ranger……

Hi, I figured it was time to record some Structured PvP of my two main builds, which was recorded over 24hrs.

I generally design my builds around my style of game play, I currently run two types of builds one is a team build mainly used in helping push points and holding. My other build is more of solo build great for 1v1 and roaming.

I use Shortbow-Sword/Torch combo, they just sync so well and both have hard dodge combos.

In terms of bunker, I have around 600-800 healing power depending on my build. I like to be able to kill my target not put them to sleep.

It was smart thing for Anet to do, its race skill if anything it should only be viable in PvE and not PvP.

Now your build is same as every other BM build means you get to use more then 1 skill to win all your fights.

I think it was right thing to do, PI was OP and we all know it.

Also last update was great, rangers are in good place both TPvP and WvW just matter finding them NEW builds, the latest update gave us heap of new viable builds but like 90% of garbage on the ranger forums most of you are uttly clueless like always and would rather complain rather then come up with new builds and test new idea’s, to busy crying over stuff you have no idea about….

I like the other idea’s, just there has been so many posts about ideas to change the ranger and I’ve never every seen dev’s really head towards any ideas we rangers have come up with.

I wish they fix spirits, after they said they murdered spirits then had laugh about it, really jacked me off knowing there taking there sweet time to do anything about it.

No point trying…. You don’t understand Trapper one bit.

Man there is no point trying to explain, go play a trapper for while then come back and make the same claims.

Also who in there right mind would ever run a trapper build if you have to give up your WS traits. Stop trying to make the game fit your builds better. Trapper build is fine also there is Trapper/BM build but seems you don’t have any idea what it is.

Think you need to understand how you would mess up the trapper build by changing the trait line.

Well its not that traps get major bonus but traps do proc critical damage reason I say leave that trait line is if you take away that critical damage your hitting like a wet paper bag your traps alone won’t win fights.

You need that crit damage on your bow attack to stack the sigil effect + the damage from critical, this is why its in the precision trait line without the backup of critical damage trap build would be rather useless.

Also what software did you end up using.

Appove of the new video, for some reason the music got me hooked + I’m using same build almost in TPvP duels lol.

It’s good to see how you have your weapons setup and what pet combos you use smart way of looking at it same way I look at it.

But I run the 0/10/30/10/20 build just for that extra pet crit damage.

Allot of BM builds use the Signet of Hunt but don’t put it in use I recommend you train when you petswap to use it on there F2 you will destroy allot faster. The 30 second CD is nothing when it comes to a duel.

The trap trait line is fine its the Power/Vita trait line they need to fix atm.

They need to do something soon, rangers have nothing left in terms of new solid builds. We limited to the same old 2 builds for past how many months…..

We are up to 12 Members in the Ranger TPvP guild, so I’m closing the doors for bit and start putting the guild to action.

When something is broken fix it, the only people defending Ele’s are Ele’s. But yet allot of Ele’s agree that there still to strong in some areas.

Try playing classes that have been weak from day dot. Requires allot of skill not just a build.

We will be recording, I want to try and setup a twitch.tv stream for when we are doing TPvP, I will also be setting up a channel for the guild to upload games and highlights to.

Once we get things kicked off and everyone in guild is happy I will start putting together tuts on builds we are running and combo chains.

Wonder how you guys would go in SPvP duel’s I’ve found it allot harder in SPvP then unbalanced WvW.

One of my mesmer mate which I beat in WvW, I rarely beat in SPvP same goes for the d/d ele, there are some really outstanding players in SPvP compared to WvW, its why I’ve made the change away from the unbalanced WvW

Try fighting some of upper tier ele’s that run hybrid bunker builds, you will be in for rude shock.

Just nerf Might, gg no more OP ele’s means they can’t be bunkers with damage.

Sick watching people defend a class that is OP, can’t believe people srsly think we are going to design builds around countering ele’s its PvP not PvELE..

The “Jack of all Trades” is your reason why people see the d/d ele as OP.

E.g. your team needs to change there strati you can’t just go hey engineer go bunker this point with your none bunker build. You can go hey d/d ele we need you to bunker this point, most d/d can as they bunker or hybrid bunker.

Just nerf Might across every class, make might half of what it is now.

Few builds I’ve found viable in TPvP.

Trapper build running 0/30/30/10/0, Wolf/Hyena SB Sword/Horn with different way of looking at what runes and jewel and conmen sigils to run it proved to very nice.

Bunker build there are many viable types but one so far has shined for me I rarely lose to anyone using it extremely good at killing and holding points against several targets while backup gets there.

Spirit build is viable in TPvP, people just don’t target the spirits. But in saying that the player using the spirits needs to be mindful of there location on the map.

There are other builds sure but 3 most viable are mods of current builds I’ve seen and tested.

Really looking forward to getting a solid team running.

I will be recording match’s and uploading also hope few others can record as well so we can make solid video showing ranger team wiping the meta.

I am still after people who know there ranger I don’t want to be training PvE’ers they can goto SPvP and learn lol.

Spirits will be viable in a all ranger team. Burning on all our arrows we will be one big condition bomb, we don’t really need focus on being bursty. We can focus so hard on conditions and the arrows on one target its doom for that target.

Do maths 4 rangers shooting one target all with spirits its op.

Picture it, Wolf/Hyena combo. Run in everyone proc’s Hyena F2 and now its 15 vs 5 lol…….

Bump need a few more good rangers to join up.

Watching your duelling video, think we have faced each other fare few times and I think we duelled once as I remember talking to someone who ran 0/10/30/15/15 and did same combo as you, and it was on the same map you duelled Stunningstyles which is one of my mates lol.

There are some really good ranger team builds out there for TPvP and few of them shine best in a all ranger team.

Really looking forward to making a big impact on the TPvP, I’m also sick of Solo Que when my normal team isn’t online.

I’m after decent players who are willing to spend time in TPvP training builds and team comps to become a Top Tier Team of only rangers.

Now the type of player’s I’m looking for are people who are open minded willing to run builds based around team play, so I don’t want “know it alls” I would rather take a scrub who listens and has room to improve.

I will be testing you as a player you don’t have to be the best of the best I would rather build a team of avg players who come together as a great team then team of pros who won’t improve.

I won’t be describing how I do it, its not just tactics its knowing when and how with what build you run, tactics are different with every build I run + there allot of bad ranger build getting around these forums and people honestly believe there solid builds.

Thief’s can’t perma stealth anymore and heavy stealth builds are garbage…..

Tactics do what I did ask a good thief to let me train vs him to understand how they work and worked on finding a weakness or combos that work against them.

I spent hole week in SPvP duelling thiefs just to learn them. WvW sure there stronger but so are we.

LR or Signet of renewal and a sword is all you need these days to beat your avg thief.

I personally use Signet now over LR as it help with condition remove and team support and its good vs condition thiefs let them spam stack you then just wipe it and with right skill set counter attack.

Rangers shouldn’t have much of a problem vs thief’s. It’s all in the tactics, pets when I’m fighting a thief do most of my damage just by knowing when to use them and force the thief to fight your tactics and not his own or you will lose and feel like they cloaking and making your pet look stupid.

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this but almost every single game, the losing team seems to lose half there team so they don’t take rank hit…

This is going to unbalance the leaderboard in a big way…

Anet please make it so if you leave the game you get a loss or players will abuse it over and over.

There will be people with 100% wins.
