anyway, zhaitan fight was much better. he didnt talk, he was what he was meant to be – a primal force of nature, magical entity, wild anomaly that needs to be stopped. mordremoth talked, which immediately turned him into a villain. and that “my body is unlimited, you have to kill me inside the dream” thing was so obvious and weak attempt at giving opportunity for easy kill of an ED.

maybe the fight with kraken near orr. the fight from the book. upon defeating it, we would see a cutscene of zhaitan creating tsunami. it would be awesome

Seriously, though, if the aesthetic appeal of this boss is the #1 complaint about the upcoming raid wing I’ll call it an unbridled success.

I’m sure there will be much more complaints after the release, but I wouldn’t call something a success if there is such a huge backlash from community – the reason is irrelevant at this point. Let’s face it, aesthetic appeal is as important as the combat mechanics. Nobody would play a game made of template skeletons just because the combat is nice. And correction of the entire model/animations is probably not possible anymore, unlike any bugged mechanics. So it’s a big deal – players will eternally roll their eyes while playing this part of wing, instead of looking at the content with excitement.

That being said, I truly wanted to end with something positive, but people who paid for the expansion get second (out of three) raid wing almost half a year after the release, so…. no.

You fight Sabetha, basically an enlargened average human female model with no distinct armor or features, let alone much of a backstory.

This raid doesn’t make much sense storywise to begin with.

nobody said sabetha is a good design tho. its like queensdale flashbacks, but plz sloth, and I thought it couldn’t get any worse

It’s just inappropriate to make a raid boss a joke – wrong place to do that imo

Im quite sure it will be the same currency for entire raid, and different currency for other raids. It’s like a dungeon with few paths. You don’t get different currencies for p1 p2 or p3

The title is good, it was never an issue even after dungeon nerf. My guess is someone wasn’t professional and probably messed with the thread without looking at it, or something like that. I had it sticked by Gaile 19 days ago when I created it (and I had to because I couldn’t manage the old one, due to original post rights belonging to someone who isn’t a leader and a mature person anymore).

I have no idea why this thread has been moved to “looking for”, then moved here again and unsticked. This guild is still alive and I’m adding new mentors and students actively, also raid mentors have been introduced recently

I can also help with other dungeons but I don’t know them by heart.

Sorry but from what you’re saying it isn’t likely that you fit for mentor rank, mentors have to be really experienced and confident in everything they teach, as many students want to polish their skills to high-end pve level. That being said, you are of course very welcome as a student and good luck finding aetherpath run

I’d love an elite spec with:
-hammer (melee, control)
- lots of health % sacrifices to grant boons or to do some powerful stuff
- utility skill that makes a teleportation ritual (summon a party member to the ritual site, something like portal but different)
- can ressurect defeated player by sacrificing own life or sth
- turning into cloud of bats/smoke of death ride-the-lighting style
- summoning ghouls, like an army of death
- becoming a ghost for some time after death
- more minion types
- something more than just different kinds of death shroud
- oceans of blood + lifting the age requirement for the game
