Hi.
I have an exotic minipet, King Adelbern, and I can’t stand that he is muted. I excepted from minipets to have some voice, I’d love to hear from time to time “retreat? retreat is not an option” just like mini Kiel or Evon speak. Many of other minipets should be tuned, too. Also, he should be in battle mode so his sword is lit. Meh. Many minipets are boring, despite being exotic or rare. I love when mini clockheart screams from time to time and have ambient animations.
I am very excited. This is so big step in the right direction.
Last boss was fun too, i facetanked him with 50 corruption stacks and didn’t give a kitten xD
I hope it will be fixed before the vendor is active

While true, that still wouldn’t explain just giving up necro powers and NEVER using them. Anise uses pure mesmer abilities, never anything necro like.
Actually, necromancers in the human lore are often looked upon as not trustworthy and devious. That would explain why she could hide it.

nah, he was attacking with self-immobilizing sword and couldnt dodge anything. a ranger, remember?

Can also be easily ranged. Just have to position yourself properly so gears don’t end up all around the area or use blocks to absorb them.

ooze luring a slick&sparki are pug killers
even if you can duo ooze font with friend rather easily, slick and sparki are going to be more of a problem, especially with pugs when everyone ranges and there are tar pools everywhere.
not even saying about electric floors, foreman spur and end boss, because they are rather easy :P
most pugs also dont know to kill every steam watcher as soon as possible, and then they end up with 92347829387 veteran aetherblades and cant progress. XD happened once.
so basically: dungeon pug unfriendly. i dont recommend pugging it.
Clockheart is the bearbows and greatsword mesmers natural enemy.

this is a l2p matter, and I assure you this boss fight is AWESOME, I do aether daily and it’s the best encounter in the whole path <3
of course, you can FGS him at a holoprojector (and interrupt when he is about to cast his shield, buying some time), but it’s boring.
if you want to make it non-fgs way and still easy, just make sure to get all 5 ppl meleeing it. and when he casts his shield, move move move! you need to pull him to holo (and holo to him) so the holo explodes on it and strips the shield.
pulls, launches, pushes etc recommended for controlling hologram.
Say it quietly, but the dredge fractal is probably too easy now.

engineers are indeed average in dungeons, but still better than necromancers. You have minor might stacking, average stealth, nice vulnerability, access to projectile reflection, blocks and immortality, access to fury, aoe damage, basically they aren’t THAT bad.

Even if ANet will fix the minipet counting as companion, still your illusions will work. And you (should) have almost 100% uptime of at least a single clone active
ressing dead dead ppl would be a nice ability for necro. as necro commands dead etc he should have such skill
the more class-specific ability the better for necro to be more wanted in a party.
6 6 0 0 2 and 6 5 0 0 3 is also ok
Necro definitely needs group buffing skills and wells are great opportunity to do that. But I don’t think such well as proposed above should be elite. Hallowed Ground isn’t elite too. Elite skills should be something that we use rarely and they allow us to take advantage in a fight. Buffing a party is standard and basic strategy.
Well of suffering should grant long might and fury (ticking) to allies.
Well of power should grant ticking stability, not only 1sec stability to caster.
Well of blood is bad – long cd and average heal. It should additionally grant regeneration for the duration of the well. And maybe even make all attacks within the area of it be life stealing.
Well of corruption is okay. Maybe add pulsing weakness and delete damage.
I would also add minions that create boons and share them for party.
Deathly Swarm should also bounce to friends and transfer boons of enemies.
The stun from warhorn should also grant fury to allies.
Seriously this is what necro needs, being party-friendly. Maybe some of my ideas are OP but this is the direction necro should be edited imo.
For elite, the spectral thingy is very nice, I would just add swiftness alongside with the stability.

The arenas with Liadri etc. should have an option to be recreated in instanced area. this way, ANet would satisfy the people who want to test themselves in quiet place and without any shame. The public arenas should stay too for ppl who would like to brag or something.
Personally, I hate the queue system, the ability of other ppl to watch me training against some of the mobs, the waiting time…
but the fights alone are great idea and i find them very fun – except the time limit which is reasonable for a public arena, but very stressful.

FotM is a dungeon so I just can’t understand why the golem in lobby doesn’t provide Fractal Tonic and Fractal Weapon Skins for fixed amount of relics/pristine relics.
Before GW2 was released, ANet stated that their game is different and better than other MMOs, because they eliminated mindless grind and RNG in dungeons. What now? Obviously it’s a lie. The new path in TA – I do it DAILY for month or two, and never dropped the new skins.
It seems like they abandonded their idea of being better than other MMOs and decided to be one of them.

The screenshot presents a couple of lovers: human mesmer and a sylvari ranger. Some time ago their paths crossed in a mission against the undead elder dragon, Zhaitan. The sylvari, who dreamt about it’s demise, sensed the soil summoning her to a far away place. After her arrival to a poisoned ground, full of foul stench of death and misery, she spotted a handsome man in an undoubtely Elonian outfit. He was fighting a horde of undead servants of the dragon. She didn’t want to join the fight, she just observed, instead of engaging. The mesmer was fighting ferociously, like a true duelist. With his swords made of pure chaotic energy, she saw him cutting undead corpses in half. Another risen has been hit by one of the mesmer clones – there was no physical wound, yet the undead fell to the ground like it was slashed to death. The sylvari was in awe. A mesmer didn’t only manipulate the physical world, but also the minds of his enemies. After a blink of an eye, she saw no corpses, no plague over the land, the air was fresh and no evidence of a fight was in her presence.
Suddenly, she heard a whisper inside her head.
‘I know your kind. You look like the Nightmare Court. I have a friend who really hates them… so you better explain yourself, or you will never trust your mind anymore.’
Sylvari looked around, wondering how to respond, eventually shouting into the space:
‘I am not one of them! I am a sylvari of the night cycle. Sylvari awakened in the night can easily be mistaken for the Nightmare Court, as their appearance is often dark and mysterious. Do not try to fight me. I came here because I felt the earth calling me. I suppose you were the one to find… come with me. Together, such fights will never be an illusion.’
Their story continued, traveling together to the heart of Orr, where they were meant to come, where there will be the grand finale of their adventure.

Oh and I wonder if Ooze Pit is duoable. I did trio, and it was in YOLO mode, so probably planned duo would be possible.
Foreman Spur is soloable, though meleeing him is kinda not an option because of the spins (Clockheart, for example, is more melee friendly if you have clones/minions to take his aggro).
/speaking from a mesmer point of view
You have to dodge his pull :P he has a ~2 sec animation before he pulls. You can even block or ‘reflect’ this pull. Learn to counter some boss attacks
Becuase of the megaserver, I can’t see where my friend is on another area. This is extremely frustrating as I dont know which wp to use to appear next to him, and he has to link it everytime I want to join his map.
I suggest Mind Stab to be either channeled skill, or a blink skill (you blink to the area, deal damage, strip boon)
precision is a damage multiplayer, indirectly. that’s why i’m asking if accuracy is better than force

I have a question, with scholar runes people basically have +15% damage in sigils. would it be better to swap force sigil for accuracy sigil? even if you have assassin armor?
