The damaged was not from the Guardians.
It was the elementalist. I think they are a Zerker build. does anyone know of an elementalist build that can do such burnt damage, please point me to the correct direction. thank you.

Guards passively apply a stack of burn every five hits when their f1 is not on cd. This causes many burn ticks in your death log.
1 stack of burn is how many hits? 25 stack is max?
222 hits ? what could possibly do that I was 1 vs 2 guardian and not dying, suddenly out of no where this ele was there, and then, bam! dead! no finisher, just dead. and that picture was the breakdown. How?
Claiming a keep, tower, camp.
Making it more relavent to Guild. If your guild take and claim and fly your banner over the structure, a keep, tower or camp, it means your guild will have benefit from doing it, by giving them some kind of reward, the longer you hold your claimed towers and keep, the more benefit it will give your guild.
Can be anything, extra harvesting nodes in guild halls, decoration etc.
SMC is a very important location for Eternal Battleground.
For big servers it means they can come online and harrassed any other server they like. practically 24/7/365 since they have players moving in there from all time zone. These servers can hold SMC for a week without any other server being able to even get close to it.
I would like to see these changes made to it.
1) Sieges build in smc, must not be able to reach any outer towers. IE: put SMC in a valley, lowering the terrain to enable outer towers using siege against SMC but not the other way around.
2) SMC without people taking care of it will go down in tier after X amount of time.
3) Supply route from opponents dolyak can only reach SMC if they have the whole line cleared. IE camp to tower to smc. If in between camp and smc is an enemy tower, the supply cannot and will not reach smc, it will stop at enemy tower nad the tower will get double ration.

I have no problem with auto upgrades of keep etc.
I have problem that they do not “despawn” like sieges , especially SMC, should be like sieges if you take smc, you need to take care of it , other wise it will despawned and goes down in tier.
good idea, mine to help low population server, if you take smc you look after it, you don’t get to hold it and bully the rest of the server because they don’t have enough players to take over it.
WvW match making system like PvP, guild base, not server base., group them onto 3 maps. let fight begin.

The new mini pet, a Krytan Floppy Fish, is a fish out of water. It has a gasping for air animation and flops around on the ground. The question is, should ANet keep this animation or change it to a swimming animation. On one hand it is only pixels. No animals are being harmed. On the other hand, it’s depicting an animal suffocating and dying. As for myself, while I know it’s not real it does give me an “Ick feeling” as I watched it lie there gasping for air, so I would vote for a change in animation. Your thoughts?

I lose more matches than I win, because each time I get on a team that has better chances to win class-wise, someone (or several players) on the other team re-log into the match with a different class, hence making it unbalanced and bound to lose.
- Remove the option to re-log, it’s making matches even more unbalanced than they already are (see #2).
- Find better balanced matches in regard of classes being put in one team. Often, it’s insanely unbalanced.
And no, I do not want to re-log into a match with a diffrent class myself, because I don’t want to be forced to practice each class to perfection in order to be able to play sPvP with any class currently required, only because the system is broken.
No, I never relog as another class after I’ve chosen to use the class I choose to complete a match. But I have to disagree with you.
Simply because the match making system isn’t profession based. Until that is the case theres is no problem.
When in a match, players are suppose to be aware of what is happening, hence why we have the mini map. If you failed to see that, it is like choosing the worng point to cap, ran into a thief hiding to snipe you.

I have this problem as well, Please ArenaNet, there has got to be a way to do this. Not everyone has the best internet provider, and not everyone has the best gaming computer.
There is also one problem that I am facing with the dishonour resulting not from my fault, the game did not ask me to accept a match but directly said I am being removed from the queue and then dishonor. (twice already this season, no problem the last few seasons) Please look into this, thank you.
Lastly, I have virus protection on, I also have auto update of systems on, sometime they would be running in the backgrond and they will restart the computer, it will ask me to approve the restart and it will result in my game screen going black, I have 2 choices when I get this problem, 1) I let the game runs on in a black screen and does nothing, sits out the game and I won’t get dishonored, 2) or I can relog, come back to complete the game, by choosing to do #2, the right thing of returning to complete the game means I will get dishonoured.
So. this definitely need fixing.
Shouldn’t we buff sub-paar players instead, to try boost their performance? It just doesn’t seem fair to empower people who are already getting kill counts in a match.
Players who are “subpar” as you put it, often doesn’t know they are. My humble opinion/observation, it is actually proven (again my humble obeservation and many evil private messaging to me later), when I try to help them they will bite back really hard, it is useless to “boost” them if they do not know how to use their character.
And no, we do not need to have extra points for carrying another player since it is a team play and you are suppose to know at some point you need to carry the team. The more pressing matters is, is it worth it to carry them when they are vicious. which bring us to something else I am not going to discuss here.

I went ahead and bought 5 of those because they are on sale today, so happy, so so happy, I quickly load my ravenant, as she has the harvesting tool. I place my harvesting tool in the shared slot ….
Only to realized, it does nothing. It is as if I go to the bank and place those tools in the bank slot. Because everytime I need them I still have to place them in my harvesting slots.
So, how about letting us convert the shared slots into shared harvesting slots? because as it is now, its useless to me. and I’ve wasted all my gems.
Any chance of a refund if this doesn’t happen? I much rather have bought harvesting tools and give them to each of my toon.

currently the problem with wvw is that server having not enough players.
to address this problem, the matchup have to be change.
it will no longer be server fighting server but guild vs guild.
this solve 2 problems.
1) the wvw server with low population problem
2) guild vs guild is at the same time revived.
How this work: At the end of the week, all the guilds will be reshuffle and place into 3 wvw maps – the blue, red and green. each map will have equal amount of players that are active in wvw
ArenaNet should have the data to do this. how often each guild play, how they play, what time zone, Redistribute them, so that all time zones, there are players to guard and fight for the maps they are representing.

sometimes i thinkg i am on the blue team, but actually i am on the red, you are probably looking at the wrong score thinking the winning scores is yours.
I play alone most of the time, especially lately, since my rival is Blackgate.
It’s really hard to find someone who want to go out and take a tower with you when your server is being spawned camped, but i know I can take a tower myself, the problem that I face when doing so, is, WvW is built for team play, one person building a catapult requires them to run back and fort at least twice, usually if they try to do it, they will get notice really quickly.
I wanted the changes because the lower populated servers can use some help to sneak around, while we are getting spawned camp ever few hours.
My idea let the players who wants to fight “off point” at spwan go ahead and have their fun and let players who wants to attmept to take a tower some help.
During this season, it seem the queue has become longer, so I walked away to the loo, and then bam! dishonour, I seriously did not want to not accept the match, it was because the queue was too long and then I had to pee.
Can it please be tweak so that if a player doesn’t accept a match in the allocated time, that they be move to the back of the queue instead, and another player will take their place.
Dishonour should be given to players who are idling, rude, left the match because they were losing , match manipulating or hodling a grudge against another player, not someone who need to use the loo and forgot to uncheck the enter button.

To do that, I have to abandon queue.
Can I please stay in queue while I map switch?
Program to automatic accept match when in map switching screen, because if player is map switching, that means they are active at their computer, and waiting in the queue, otherwise why would anyone be switching map.

Battle of Khylo need to be switch back to its original map, the tower and the treb were the map’s unique features, all other maps have their own unique features, hammer, kill lord, cap tranquility. Removing the tower of khylo is making this map pointless to have treb and tower. it just became cap kill cap kill cap kill.

The current situation is: SMC treb can reach all the outer towers but not the other way around.
One thing that a low population server need is to play smart, knows the map well, sneak and clever uses of sieges. Please look in to this matter.
It would be so much more fun if there are more places and ways to invade and take over a tower/keep/SMC by ways of clever uses of sieges.
It is already really hard to defend with the constant outnumbered. Let alone letting a strongest server have the power to easily invade the lowly populated servers.

Nope, i played all profession except warrior. still in training with the warrior, thief is my worse profession, my most favourite profession at the moment is my tanky necro.
BTW, not only is the change bad in look (actually its not bad looking), if at all there’s a need to change it, make it right, since we cannot physically treb the tower, at least make the clock tower a place player can hide from the treb. like a safe spot to stand, or else why change it at all? before this roof need to be treb open so we can treb the players inside or on the roof or hiding on the ledge. It is absolutely no need to “baby” players like this by removing a roof where players can use as a part of their play strategy.

we need five man teams in ranked games – PVP guilds need this as that is how we practice and enjoy pvp,also how we teach newbies the fine arts of pvp play
If you want a five players team, you find a five players team why would you force other players who bought this game with the promise that they can play solo through out into a five players team?
The last time I tried a five players team, took nearly 45 minutes to set up, play one match everyone rage quit…,
Better to have two pvp queues one 5 players team, and leave the solo queue be solo queue.
Plus use the custom PvP to play with other guilds is cool too.

A few months ago they came up with a poll about wether pvp should be restricted to to solo/duo queue only. And I was stunned by the fact so many people voted yes for that.
(I’d like to remind you this is a team based competitive game mode)That being aside, hey now, there’s a new poll up! They want to avoid class stacking. They want to AVOID, the one thing people have been crying their eyes out about. It was obvious. I had to go vote yes. Because why would we not want fair match ups and leaderboards reflecting your “true skill”, through linking it to the class you main.
Yet again, community, you’ve left amazed. Turns out a lot of people voted against it. And I just can’t find the reason why. Is this just me?

as for profession, one need to play all professions to know them, takes a while, not too long, to be able to get good at any one profession, I usually come up with my own build, one that I know exactly what 1, 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,f1,f2,f3,f4,f5 will do when you press them or remembers what switching weapons will do.
I am terrible with my warrior especially this season, not so much last season, was fairly easy, this season, my warrior just drop like flies. time to go on the meta.
Surprisingly or not surprisingly for some, the most important thing you need to learn in PvP is
MOBILITY
If you don’t move your dead.
If you see players sniping from high ground, you know they dead if you get close up to them and chase them down, fun times.
What I meant about players already are going to try to achieve top stats, because it is fun, it is good so why not reward for people actually trying to do it.
Warrior is not overpower, only the good warrior is overpower or those cheating, lol, that 1 shot you dead with a rifle while your on your way to fight them and died mid way to a cap point.
Seriously its TERRIBLE.
95% of 4vs5 games were caused by people raging IN GAME and then dcing/afking.
Now you have to sit at your pc waiting for a pop. Cant go toilet. Cant get a drink. Cant make a sandwich. It is a complete and utter JOKE.
I hate it so much. please get rid of it. It is literally the bane of my life as far as this game is concerned currently.
What has all that got to do with the Ready Up Button?
My necro is a melee. Don’t get close, close you die. Vice versa, I don’t get close to enemy, I die. Its not awkward, depends how you play.
Actually all my builds can be melee because I built them that way. Except my warrior, although a melee, it dies easy. everyone kept saying warrior is overpowered, i am still in the dark here…

No. I don’t want to encourage people to go after top stats over winning the game.
Players are already doing it (not reading the mini map, fighting off point, some players avoid all fights and runs around capping). Regardless if they do it on purpose or not, The point is to reward players who actually try to play the match when the match is already unplayable. ie: on a loosing team, when half the team is standing in the holding area being idle, and one players is doing their absolute best trying to make a different in the game and all they get are top stats.
Haven’t played through the whole Episode 4, but on the map, I have noticed a significant change to the way NPC reacted to invading parties, in a positive ways, they don’t stand around doing nothing and are actually defending. Which is really good.
Please tell me which event, in the game, I’ve not done before. Account base and Character Base.
Which brings us to, achievement for completing all events available in the game at least once.

An Alert Me when I am log in game for
1) Alert me when my character is near an event, boss, etc that i needed for achievement.
2) Alert me when another player has put up a Looking for Group that I needed. for instant, I now have 1 more dungeon that I haven’t completed, when someone puts up a LFG for that dungeon, I will be alerted.
3) Same as above but for event, boss etc that is not near my character when i am log in. For instant, players will put up in LFG for the Tequatl Event, and i needed to go jump over the waves. I like to be alerted when it happens.
4) Alert me when I am near a Karma / NPC who sells item that I need for completions of collections etc.

It would be nice if there is an option under the option panel to automatically checked “All Dailies Boxes”. Or , thinking of new players here, Check all “Available Dailies Boxes”
Or a Check “All Dailies Boxes” pops up when player click on the dailies chest afterlog in.

Yeap, I have a person who is abusive with their words, every time I am matched up with them, not towards me personally, but towards other players, if you are opposite them he/she would call names and mock in an abusive way. So today I told them off in map chat, before match start, because he/she was quarrelling with another players, I knew it because this player I hadn’t blocked said: for crying out loud, stop being so angry. I have all the screenshots. So I said: just block them for peace of mind, then the following few games he/she started throwing the game when ever they are matched up with me. screenshot all the way.
Had another similar players, who said they going to make tea now, after abusing our team mesmer with means words.
reported them all but nothing happened. Not only that, they keep popping up in my match! Fun time when they are opposite me, bash them good :P
Like steelheart.7386 below said, anet isn’t doing anything because this abusive players mocked and laughed, : “good luck my man” was their reply, after 2 persons say to report them for being idle.
(first abusive person was in a course of several days, today they were body shaming a player who choose to play a male norn, asking them if they were “fat in real life”)

This has been happening after the new patch, but I was mostly playing in Bloodstone Fen and WvW so I dont care that the game crashed, …until few days ago when the PvP season started.
It is terribly hard to get a good team going for me and then today I got a good team, winning the game, killing the DH with my Tempest and I was smiling inside, so happy, if this go on, I could play couple of games a day and get the super bling bling wings finally, and then CRASHED….so now I have 10 minutes of dishonor time to write this plea to you, please fix the crashes. lost 1 pip…. ….. come on, why would I log out of the game when my game is winning., dishonored and lost 1 pip. ….
PLEASE FIX THE CRASHES. Thank you

no its not ! i keep selecting other map, but that wheel keep landing on foefire and then forced its way into my favourite map …
So, sometime ago, I read that Arenanet has eliminated the loading screen in the match. something along the line.
However, this is what happens whenever there is a new patch and this latest patch is doing this to me. The match loading screen take so long that i got kick out of the game.
I am simply unable to load into any match, I can hear the sound, sometimes i got into the match, but after 3 tries, i just could get my self to play anymore ranked match since People tend to remember you when you make them loose a match.

i suggest that when you reach legendary division, volunteering button to go back to amber is available. going on the quest 2 times gives you all the rewards x 2 and then when you reach it again, volunteering to do it again a 3rd time will give you a x 3 reward. and so on and so forth. and every time you reach legendary again you get a special chest.

Lets take out strategy out of PvP too. HOT builds and weapons are looking very similar to one another so why dont we just have all classes look the same as well.
No but seriously the beasts steals or set ups are a huge part of play. For instance you shouldnt go for beast at a random time. It puts you and your team at a disadvantage and for me its a really big tell on whether or not your team mates know what to do rotation wise in PvP.
So for instance my guild team tends to do a 1-1-3 split most of the time. The other teamed countered by sending 2 back to there home so we got the split we wanted. Our person capped home and went to mid where we then won a 2 vs 2 at mid. Our sustain guys were all at far doing what they were supposed too so we ran to our beasts killed it and ran back to mid.
They eventually lost far but we had a 2 cap/beast and 3 coming off respawn to watch home if people get nervous seeing we have 2 at mid. There are many other situations like this where you have to set up your beast kills without giving up caps.
First of all, if you do not know the whys, don’t try to defend it.
So you want to hold caps and “steal beast” all at the same time easily? You already have a premade, you should have a plan ready for when beast arrive, even so now, when there is a clock provided for everyone to see and enemy location on the map. why must the game be one sided towards a premade team?
Do you know how to carry 3-4 people all the time and having to be alert for the beast to be stolen and the thief laugh at you /schat nubs in PvP and getting chatfight all time, Do you know what a stupid thief who can’t steal a beast is to a non premade ? you wouldn’t, they will be roaming without a destination and then go to steal beast and failed and die and give 5 points to the enemy team. hence, why it need to be base on dmg and not last strike.
