Bear Force One is there to carry my kitten . Bark Skin + Troll Unguent = OP as balls.
Because it’s hard to teach an old dog some new tricks.
One thing that’s going to throw a wrench in things for a lot of professions is alacrity. Rev doesn’t gain much as it’s very focused on the 1 skill, engi will be a nightmare trying to keep up with timers with alacrity, and necro GD spam gains little (more nightfall/wells). Compare to say Ele which will get more lava fonts and meteors which are a huge part of it’s damage, or even Guard which will get faster skills (are ICD’s affected by alacrity?). Anyways, that’ll be interesting.
Interesting questions goes and uses the power of science I will be back!
EDIT: Ok so after some science here are the results
ICD’s are implemented in 1 of 3 ways.
1.) An invisible buff (Has no effect)
2.) An Internal Cooldown on the Buff (Has no effect)
3.) Recharge on a skill. (Does have an effect)
Sometimes a skill uses more then one of the above. If it ever uses #1or#2 it wont do anything. If I only uses #3 then it does work.
Overall a bit unclear I’ll talk to skills team tomorrow about it.
Note: My science was done with a warrior. In which Defy Pain recharged in 40s while under the effects of alacrity (only uses #3). Where Last Stand always took 40s. (Uses #1 )
At lvl 40/50 you need you need to complete 4 rooms to progress to the boss and the prisoner room is the only one that can’t be retried after it’s activated so if it fails there would be no way to complete the fractal and progress forward so in order to prevent this from happening Anet just left the door to the panel open so you can get the completion of it even if you don’t rescue the prisoners. At lower levels you only need 3/4 thus failing the room wouldn’t block progress.
Healing Spring has never healed allies for the bulk amount that you and your pet receives, only the regeneration and cleanse (vigor before the trait was removed) affected allies.
At lvl 40 you should have 55 AR to negate agony dmg. With 50 AR you’d still take 6% per agony tick.
It’s a risk vs reward balancing. Generally all the skills that have long cast times and root you are also very powerful and can do some serious dmg if you get caught in it. I would hate to see skills like meteor shower, hundred blades, barrage get nerfed just so you could move while casting them.
Not sure if this are bugs or features.
Captain Mai Trin Boss Fractal:
- There is a small chance that after cannon phase Mai will stay near her cannon and do nothing. Only way to continue is to kill Horrik. After he dies she will teleport back to the arena to rez him but she will never move till you kill phase her again. No idea how to reproduce it. It happened 2 times in 6-7 months.
Hylek pots cause this if they are dropped near her spawn point.
Don’t forget the bug that prevents the tonic from dropping.
You can stand down from it as often as you like just don’t leave the guild and it’ll be there.
Animation bug from using certain weapon skills.
Too much effort/too confusing.
I honestly wouldn’t mind a nerf for burns/burn application if they buffed other condis and their application. Only reason why ranger/engi/guard have decent condi builds is because of burning, hell the only reason guard is decent condi is because burning is so strong that it doesn’t even need another condis to be usable.

It happens when you get cleaved to death instead of being stomped. This was supposed to be fixed some time ago (was in patchnotes) but still happens on constant basis.
Items with selectable stats never show them when linked to a chat. Going to be even more fun with legendary armors.
Revenant doesn’t strictly have an unblockable effect,
You forgot malicious reprisal in Devastation (unless this is getting changed and I forgot), which makes attacks unblockable for 5s after getting blocked (30s cooldown)
And the shadowstep skill in Shiro stance that makes your attacks unblockable after using it for few seconds.
I just end up buzzing between the forts trying to tag every event for max crests. Goes pretty fast with executioners axe and is deffo more active and enjoyable than just sitting at one fort. Farmed 5k crests that way in few days for 2nd set of trinkets.
Moa any champion mob and they will destroy your friends in melee. NPCs get a stupid high scaling with moa form and does something like 4-5k with every peck. Also works well against tentacles at Jade Maw.
Viable yea but not optimal since most of the dps on condibranger comes from bonfire and the boss isn’t the easiest to keep in one spot all the time. Still perfectly usable even if it’s just for the spirit buffs.
Always 50 over 49 especially when pugging. Higher AR requirement means ppl are more likely to have proper gear that matches my LFG thus making runs easier and faster not to mention that the instability doesn’t punish for using the basic combat mechanics and is just a simple gearcheck.
Also the rewards are exactly the same for everything between 41-50, tonic included.
Have had all of them even before they became account bound. Just became sort of a habit to get any new ones within a week of release.
Best fun to be had on Mai Trin is to deliberately try to kill off your party members (especially in a pug) and then have fun soloing her.
So A dagger skin like this maybe.
Close enuf.
As long as it keeps the smokefield they can nerf it to abyss for all I care.
Gz you’ve juste kitten yourself with half of your traits and weapon skills not working properly and losing out on a significant portion of your utility/dmg.
Ranger without a pet is never going to happen and you’re just better of playing some other class to satisfy your needs.
You dirty evil elitist trying solo everything and take the glory.

Those two sites have pretty much everything you need to know about fractals in general.
Generally necros are rather disliked in PvE content but have been steadily improved with some rather nice utility. Just try to improvise and see which skills could be useful in any given situation. Wells in general are a solid choice since they have good dmg to them and good utility trough boon removal, condi removal and blinds, spectral grasp, spectral walk, flesh wurm all have their uses and can make runs smoother for you and your party not to mention the new awesomeness known as corrosive cloud and it’s projectile block.
It will never happen.

It’s a bug with all staff skills in general not being affected by quick draw. I’m sure it’s already on Irenios radar and will get fixed.
Bring more reflects? Does no one use them anymore?
Kinda hard to reflect an unblockable projectile.
Super speed has always worked with the orb, just like any +25% movement speed increase trough traits/runes.
The ascended gear from the raid didn’t have infusion slots so you wouldn’t be able to use it in fractals anyway.
Only squad chat was broken. You could use map or say chat as a work around.
If only the Chat was broken then Anet didn’t need to Disable the Raid. There more far more Issues with the Squad UI itself, like getting kicked out of the Raid, the UI not being displayed correct and even Log In Problems that vanished after deactivation of the UI.
Not to mention that these issues also affected normal live server operation.
General Discussion never ceases to amaze me.

It is. But won’t last long.

Hmm, all this talk of crippling has me interested…sounds as if crippling a certain boss makes them more powerful.
Ah, got it! Did you guys give a boss a pre-nerf FGS? :P
They just slapped in a few teragriffs and made them gain 25 might from being crippled.
Ice bow is still a thing on sinister ranger. Easily +13k bleed ticks and would be even higher if spotter wasn’t at the same spot with hidden barbs.
He already said it’s too late to start adding but if you really want to test these out then buy some from TP and bank them before creating your first character.
You don’t need to have an extra set. Just bank the ones you use normally, create a char so it takes the account snapshot, take the armor pieces back.
Assuming it’s sinister, or you have the mats around to change it during the BWE. It’s not perfect, but it’s something at least
(Hides his 3 full sets of sinister.) . _.

Shooting teeny tiny ghost sharks on a necro is da best.
Someday people might realize it would be faster to just do UW if it comes up rather than try to roll for swamp. It’s like a minute or 2 longer and can be soloed easily without the need for portals.
Plus you get to use khamoali!
Question. We have been told several times now that many of the raid fights require gliding, boss fights in particular. With all our previous beta characters removed, does that mean that all our mastery progression from previous beta weekends has also been lost?
That is correct, all beta progress has been reset for BWE3.
Quick question, did they store an image of our accounts straight after deleting the current beta characters or have they yet to do so? I don’t think I’ve deposited any sinister gear yet
The account image was always created when you made the first character so I’d say you’re golden as long as you deposit before char creation.
Ah yes classic Anet. Give rangers a lollipop and take it away immediately all the while eles are in the corner devouring their bag of gummi bears.
Back to having 2 usable heal skills. (More like one seeing how clumsy healing spring is.)
Why is Roy on this anyway? Isn’t Irenio supposed to be our dedicated Dev as well as some-what representative? Why is someone not dedicated to our profession coming about wanting to nerf it? I mean look at Rev, that kitten is on dope. So what if 1 ranger has a nice amount of quickness to itself? Shiro legend Rev has access to like 50%+ quickness as well with just 1 utility skill. The kitten? And you want to nerf us?
Not to mention permanent fury, swiftness and decent might stacks in PbAoE and they don’t even have to blow their heal or stunbreak/condi cleanse to do that.
Well that fun didn’t last long. Back to being mediocre.
I mean really. Good job.
Or it’s just PR talk just like fractals were supposed to be super hard with fractured.
