I have to agree with the OP… This JP was just way too easy for those who enjoyed the Mad Kings tower.

I completed it on the first try without even knowing where to go or what to do.

Anet should make few different difficulty levels for these puzzles. Something to cater every need.

I got an unid dye from a grape bush in the Trolls End jumping puzzle and it turned out to be the Abyss… ^^

I need to have my birds around me all the time, and after I started using the spirit build it makes me a little sad every time one of my spirits whiter away. :C

But for my female Sylvari ranger I use the Twilight Arbor medium armor.

This is probably the most ingenious and awesome guild recruitment post ever!

But seriously, I’ve always enjoyed those small little details that the devs of different games put there for our enjoyment. Can’t wait to duke it our with my minis. :P

The Order of Whispers medium armor set uses a hood as it’s headgear.

I’m currently running around in a full TA armor set with the Whispers hood, looks pretty nifty but there are some clipping issues with the hood and collar.

(And you can always go to the Mists PvP lockers to preview every armor set in game.)

Well last night while I was doingvmy dailies in the Sothsun Cove I noticed on the Mao chat that some asked: “Anyone up for the rich ori node?” Now as we know the ori nose is guarded by a Champion Karka. So I responded to him to invite me into the party so one could kite the champ while the other one mines.

When we got there I proceeded to start kiting the champ with my ranger and sure enough the other guy went in and mined what he could out of that, what surprised me was that immediately after he finished he just quit the party and left me there alone with the Karka which sure enough proceeded to quickly wipe me out…

Last night was the first time since the headstart that I haven’t bothered to finish dailies, and this is simply because of actions of a single selfish player.

So yes I’d much rather just solo trough the content than deal with idiots like him…

But on topic, I love this game. Been playing since BWe2 and still going strong and closing in on the 500h mark. No other game has taken so much of my time in a such a short period.

Those moments when you are sitting at the mile high bar in Lion’s Arch and someone suddenly breaks out their boxing gloves are the moments why I play this game. I’ve never met such a friendly and helpful community in any other game.

For female Sylvari the Twilight Arbor medium armor is just perfect. First time I previewed it trough the vendors I decided to grind TA until I got it. And after +50 runs later I was a happy Sylvari… (this was done before they raised the token rewards for dungeons)

It is intended.

Because the Sylvari “armor” is basically growing out of them it has some parts that are part of the skin layer and therefor non customizable.

I usually throw them at folks who are waiting for the dragons to spawn… And that’s about it.

I currently have a “female” Sylvari ranger as my main and I’ve ran the Twilight Arbor to get the full Nightmare exotic armor set, which in my opinion is the best looking armor in game.

And I’m very happy that I rolled a ranger as my first class. In fact my second char is also a ranger.

I love blossoms for reasons stated. Forever a rally. I can solo through the first boss because of this. Giant worm? Tough luck when he can’t hit me in melee range! Spawn adds? Just rally whenever I do go down.

Agreed… The first boss is just silly easy. With my ranger I can kill it without taking any damage, from the adds or the boss itself.

After running trough TA about 70 times now, I honestly don’t even care about the blossoms any more. In fact I quite like having them around for an easy rally.

260 hours with my ranger and not single moment of boredom.

And just for the fun of leveling I rolled a new ranger to see the storyline from a little different perspective. And it’s going to take a while to get Kudzu.

That would be just stupid. It would force players to sit on their thumbs for 15-30 minutes, which in my opinion is just not the way it should be handled.

When I was running Twilight Arbor to get my Nightmare armor, the average completion time for any of the three routes was about 40 minutes. Heck we even did it with 4 man group because one player disconnected and we couldn’t be kitten to get someone new to come with us.

If Anet wants to reduce the dungeon farming they should make them harder to beat. (not by increasing the mob/boss hp pool) And at the same time make them a little more rewarding so it would keep the players interest up but still would keep people from farming them continuously.

And as a little off topic they should just change the rewarding to be at the end of the instance so it would stop things like Arah farming where you just run the two first bosses and then reset the instance.

I really don’t mind being blah… I’d rather stay as blah as possible if it helps to keep those nasty melee fighters off my skin.

Way I see it is that the Sylvari are much like Asari from the Mass Effect trilogy. They are not bound by genders as far as their reproduction goes. Every single time I played trough any of those games I always used female Shepard and had a relationship with Liara. Why you may ask, because she’s just so awesome in every aspect. Who cares if they both look and act like women?

The way I see it that you just should be with someone who makes you happy no matter what you might find between the legs.

She’s so pretty… Sylvari + ranger is probably the best class/race combination in the game.

First time I tried the exp mode our team gave up on the wines because they just didn’t understand to move around and avoid the big bad balls of death that the wines spit out. Next time I went to that dungeon I joined a group that had already completed it a couple of times and it was just like cutting down weed. When everyone just remembers to dodge and focus their attacks on the same target then you’ll do just fine.

And the shortest route can easily be completed in 30 min if you have a stable party that is not full of brain dead individuals. Take on pack at a time and it’s a breeze.

So far the hardest part of the whole dungeon is finding a full lvl 80 group who know how to play.

Sylvari ranger… Best combination ever!

A race that comes from the nature combined with the class that is one with the nature.

Root, cripple and knockback. Holy triage for defeating the Knights.

I’ve been running the TA explorable for the past few days in order to get the Nightmare armor. And as a ranger I can pretty much keep at least one of them away from our group. Then the rest of your party just needs to focus on two of them, which is a lot more manageable.

Well in the description of the Sylvari they are more tree like then plant like. Leaves for hair wood for bones, chlorophyll for blood (even tho thats more plant).

Have more flower parts doesn’t seem right to me since they literally are born of a tree.

For example cherry trees look quite magnificent when they are blossoming so the idea of having flowers as decoration in the hairstyles isn’t that far fetched.

I’ve always pondered why they sylvari didn’t have any kind of flowers or other accessories in their hair, eventhough they are the race that represents nature itself.

Yes they can.

I’m currently running around with my pet + 3 utility spirits and the elite druid spirit. But if you want mos out of your spirits you need to spend 30 trait points to nature magic to get them to follow you around.

162 hours since release…

I’ve been using my trusty Fern Hound from the beginning and now when raiding dungeons I’ve used a cave spider as a ranged pet.
