More gold more special items. Take over enemy tower/keep opens gate to Darkness Fall where 3 sides can fight over bosses to get more rare drops like daoc.
I been called bot many times while I was just doing pve and why do u think 20k AP means anything at all? i see plenty of 25k AP players who play like noob. He/she could be 10 years old with 30k AP. Its a bad idea end of discussion.
Why should the game balance cater to newer players by penalizing the choices of veteran players. You can’t and should not be able to pick something up and instantly be on a level playing field with someone who is a veteran of that something.
You’re right, they shouldn’t. Veteran players should be more skilled and practiced in WvW and therefor have an advantage over new players. I don’t see a reason to artificially inflate that advantage with a stat buff. Unless you’re telling me you’ve learned nothing that could give you a leg up over less experienced players in WvW then you shouldn’t need applied stats.
And to address all the disdain for new players in this thread in general: if something isn’t growing, it’s dying. You want a revitalized world vs world scene? You want Anet to give a kitten about you? You need some new blood.
Do u tell ur boss not to give u a raise b/c u want to be on the same playing field as the new hired huh? When ppl work for something hard, they need something in return for their accomplishment.
TCs do run around as dolyak to get slaughtered if u call that roleplaying. But like he said its all mega server now so no point to transfer to any server just for pve.

bad: gold seller will just use tp item to exchange for gold,
effects large guild , alts, and friends who needs gold buy gem store stuff.
I tried idle setting it wasnt downloading so I had to change to max. Would be nice to be able to see the downloading bar with speed and amount left while in game.
