And the ranking system, yes I do know exactly how it works. Do you know anything about your servers history, because both me and Mags can tell you exactly where your server was before you even started playing on it.

While Magnuma’s Night Coverage isn’t as impressive as a lot of T1 servers, It is more then a lot of T2 servers.

I’m aware to another T1 server, that might seem silly, but there is a reason Magnuma’s a T1 server, and not T2.

I didn’t get to say this yesterday, but thank you guys so much for the astonishing fights at YBBL hills yesterday. That was hands down the most fun I’ve ever had in over a year in WvW, hands-down. Just around 35 minutes of SBI, Mag, and Yak’s Bend completely slaughtering one another in glorious fun.

SBI, you guys seriously overestimated the amount of people we had in that Lord’s room, lol. While you guys were standing on that bridge, I literally couldn’t see the blue in the sky from all the red names (due to the camera angle in the small corridor, but still).

Mag, thank you guys for the awesome fun and fights. Ark, it’s nice fighting you guys, you people certainly present a good challenge for our guild to rise to.

Also, Mag, you guys are the funniest people ever. I swear. Here I am, fighting some guy and then I’m suddenly down. Open combat log,

“Maguuma Bronze Raider has hit you for 14,103 using Kill Shot.” wat

Anyways, GL HF everyone, let the fun times continue.

The Citadel Raid is silly but I can understand why SBI people are mad, I was wondering why they had a Treb setup in our spawn (Yea some YB guys actually setup a Treb there) Seems they were trying to hit our hidden Golems, Which is surprising, Since there is no way to see those Golems from where they were without having a spy tell them. Not like you could stop your own server from doing it though, and I doubt you’ll ban him from the forums for it so whateva.

D. The rest of your comments I’ll take to heart when you become someone worth taking advice from.

Trust me, I know what night coverage is, I’ve been on SBI for a very very long time.

SBI actually tried very hard to get into Gold League.

Right, a small percentage of your server tried cheating their way into Gold League by bringing SoR commanders into their TS to coordinate against SoS to fix the match.

The remaining majority of the server actively tried tanking into silver for what they thought would be an easy silver league win.

The hilarious part is, even when you got to silver, you still performed like kitten. I honestly think it would have been hilarious to watch what kind of server-wide fracturing and implosion would have happened if SBI made it into gold.

Pretty sure at this point the general consensus from most people who play this game is SBI is cesspool. Is there an NA server that actually garnishes less respect than SBI at this point?

Notsureifsrs, but there’s deep hatred from this one. I think we should all stand back and quietly reflect why players often seem to overgeneralize an entire server based on WvW performances when it’s only one portion of the game.

SBI is not an unofficial PvE server. It was the home of War Machine, iQ and EvIL. A prior t1 server before the Kaineng experiment. So yeah, I’ll pretend soundly speak about your servers history to help provide you some background. It became a PvE server once the WvW base left it because of the queues. (hence hurri-kain was born).

From a code perspective (speculating here), since Eagle Eye and the Greatsword trait also shared the 5% increased damage, it could just mean that either one is inheriting from another, or they are both inheriting from some other skeleton code somewhere, or that they are both being created out of the same object, and somebody just copied and pasted and didn’t go through it with a fine tooth comb.

Not exactly sure how ANet has their code setup obviously, but it seems like the most likely cases.

Yea, reason I think its probably got to do with the Greatsword change is because its also 3 seconds of fury just like the Longbow change, the only thing that Longbow as different is it has no ICD.

TBH i kinda hope it doesn’t have that long of an ICD, but i wouldn’t mind if it had a 10s ICD that fury REALLY boosts my damage on my zerker roamer build, it’s kinda crazy really, especially since i now don’t really mind my decision to not take any points in skirm lol

Most of the classes (Ele/Engineer for example) can run perma Fury

The only spec that’s going to benefit from it is going to be a Power Based Ranger Build, and those aren’t that great to begin with.

I get it, SBI going PvE starting ….rightnowtoday … but wait … ‘we beat you on reset and weekend and that’s all that matters’.

You are in a forum with Maguuma, and speaking to a member of TC who have had our kitten handed to us by the big 3 on a weekly basis… For months on end. PvE? does not prevent players from playing WvW (except on SBI). I get your new, and this shiny new PvE content comes out (but it’s relatively minor) especially in comparison to what Anet did today (read skill updates)

In every post you complain about 2v1, and cheating in. And because you feel necessary you start bringing in the Ebay match regularly – in a match where Ebay is not included just to attempt publicly flaming YB. I almost fell outta my chair when I saw the one guy saying ‘good job YB’ I don’t pretend to know your history, all 4 days of it but I get your server hasn’t had to deal with many losses when up 13k.

Don’t get so emotionally invested into the game. At the end of the day – ask your self why you play? None of it involves me, Ebay, YB, or this forum.

I’d even consider it a compliment to your server that Mags put on a show for you. They are a gold league server, and one of the top NA prime time servers. Ask any of the gold league servers, they will all attest to this.

Here i’ll give you a comparison, Before a patch we’ll have queue’s sometimes on all maps, When a PVE patch comes, We’re outmanned on every map. Does that happen to your server? Nope? Thought so cupcake.

If you have no idea what the hell is going on, Don’t post in this thread, YB was talking about 2v1, cause some nimrod claimed we were getting 2v1, I said we weren’t, and 2v1 isn’t happening in this matchup, I stated we got 2v1 during the leagues, Cause that did happen, Then a bunch YB who were bragging about it during the actual Matchup claimed “no , we didn’t 2v1 anyone” As for the cheating thing, YB complains about cheating all the bloody time, I point out that it happens to us, and that they had cheaters on their server that they defended. You seem to think i’m complaining about 2v1 this matchup, I’m not…So you’re clueless on what’s going on just as I expected.

We didn’t mention the spies (apart from a seperate thread which was anout sabotage in general) until you guys started the slinging match. It’s funny that we only learned how to get in there by JUMPING to kill the trebs you kept glitching up there.
It’s so easy to counter people getting in there it’s a wonder you guys had enough people to build the golems in the first place.

Ehh, Its not a glitch, you can build trebs there, But it is a glitch to be able to enter the “safe” zone of another server..

Granted i’m not sure what you guys were doing in there recently, I didn’t see any siege up…

I don’t see how it’s irony. Both need fixing. If they fix the jump up without fixing the siege deployment it gives the advantage to the defenders and vice versa.

Most of the time the “jump up” isn’t being used to kill that siege, It’s being used to kill Golems.

SBI actually tried very hard to get into Gold League.

Right, a small percentage of your server tried cheating their way into Gold League by bringing SoR commanders into their TS to coordinate against SoS to fix the match.

The remaining majority of the server actively tried tanking into silver.

The hilarious part is, even when you got to silver, you still performed like kitten.

And performed like crap? we came in 3rd, would of come in 2nd if not for the 2v1 during the league period…I don’t call that terrible.. FA clearly had better coverage then us and were going to win, and there is very little SBI could do against a 2v1.

Not that performing well in Leagues means anything anyway, all it meant was we out numbered everyone else below us or in YB case, worked with another server to win an outmanned fight.

In Mag’s case, it got crushed because those other servers it was up against in gold league had you guys out gunned by a lot.

Which of those look to have any sort of impact, Mag’s evolution line is virtually straight, I mean you couldn’t even use a ruler to accomplish that.

The Blue line? Okay you can clearly see as of 11pm last night, SBI all of a sudden started losing ground as they were up 13k.

The game update was released little over 7 hours ago. That leaves an gap of about 8 hours+ with little from you.

Really, if I were reading this, and I am… it looks like you guys just gave up after going 13k ahead, and thought it was over. Not only does it look rather embarrassing on your server, but coupled with the fact that your choosing to play kid games and shout online like anyone cares is a deterrent.

I saw this happen to SoR, only they handled it with some maturity. This is a 3 way game, not based on balance. You have to roll with the punches and dig deep sometimes. The sad fact is, your server has history against itself…

As a courtesy, I’d like to take this time to remind your server…of what both SBI and SoR did the week prior to the season…to SoS

Ebay defended their BL very tenaciosly, your keeps could general be ninjaed and or kept papered nearly at will. SBI has a lot of things to learn about defending keeps, especially against even, or overwhelming odds. Though, in your defense, running a karma train for 5 out of 7 weeks doesn’t give you much time to practice.

Is that why in the very next matchup with BP, you took their keeps just fine?

I mean its like you don’t realize that people post screenshots of matchups in previous threads that we can all see.

Actually in that matchup we primarily targeted BP, again because they were much worse at defense than ebay. Also BP didn’t put up much of a fight, they had a lock on 4th, so no reason to expend much effort.

Actually I recall no one defending them, merely people saying that they retaliated after having all their golems dropped off of hills.
But in every other forum thread I’ve seen you guys make, including reddit, you go on about how we did it all to you guys and you did no wrong.

I know, you get infracted for it, Its silly that they take that super seriously, but people can go on cheating..But that’s really the only alternative we have right now.

Anet doesn’t take cheating seriously…. but it takes the forum posts seriously…

Also I don’t think we could’ve maintained a week long alliance. I can’t speak for ebay’s side of things, but on the yak’s bend side we had a lot of players that were very unhappy to be told to only target SBI. I can’t imagine keeping that going for more than the 1-2 days the actual alliance lasted.

We need to start a new poll on how what percentage of SBI is fair weather fighters. I would say 98.2% or so.

Considering we spent all week kicking in your teeth, I’m going to guess it wasn’t you wiping anything, and more likely it was the pve content patches as always (it happens every single patch)

Give it a day or two and we’ll see if they pop back up from the content or not.

Then we’ll go back to pounding on you like a dog in heat.

AOE Reduction would be the best way to make Pets more viable in zerg fights

That way if they’re actually focused by single target attacks, you can kill them quickly, but mindless AOE wouldn’t do squat against them.

That’s generally out most MMO’s handle Pet Classes and PvP.

Xsorus here, I was testing out longbow, and I noticed something, and i’ve not figured out what’s causing it yet

Every single crit longbow does, grants me a stack of fury…. usually after rapid shot, I have bloody 21 seconds of it.

While Conditions are nasty, don’t pretend Power Damage isn’t easily as nasty.

Out of all the builds i’ve tried, be it BM Bunker, Spirit, Trap ect ect

Nothing comes close to killing a group of mobs like a Trap Ranger.

You can’t have actual good rewards in a system that doesn’t reward being better then everyone else.

The Leagues aren’t designed around being better, its designed around having more people.
