at last necro is now a preferable class, and because of all this QQ they’ll nerf it back to its old version and make it totally oppressed against op eles, thieves and mesmers again. necro may have condition controlling abilities, but it doesn’t have easy-escape skills, fast burst kill options, mobility and stability. then nerf damage options but add some stealth or mobility to make it balanced. nerfing without giving another option is just killing the necro class. necro=master of conditions without mobility in gw2’s game mechanics and i don’t think that has to be changed.

i think they’ll just fix this code manipulation exploit and go on, because these item link codes weren’t intended to be used like that. they don’t want players to use custom colors in chat. but i also think that there’s no reason to punish users of it.

The queue system is not working properly, for example I join eternal battlegrounds queue before my friend, but he enters eb before me. Then how is this a queue ?

Please convert it to a real queue system, and allow us to see our placement number in the wvw ui so we can see when we’ll be able to join that border and how much people in front of us.

shadow seperations look so annoying in 3d, this game needs a proper, fully working 3d support first. ( tried with nvidia 3d vision)

1. there’s no real reason to play pve after crafting a legendary weapon and having a full ascended set of trinkets. all skins are easy to achieve and not that rare.
2. i like wvw, but there’s no point to grind wvw. i mean we don’t get some shiny and showable ranks or some nice things to achieve to brag about… we just kill other players meaninglessly. no one knows that i’m an experienced wvw/pk player. friendly units can’t see our ranks, enemies can’t see our nicknames. ranks should be determined by wvw leaderboards, not some constant xp. having no point is the main reason that bores wvw players.
3. this is guild wars but there’s no guild wars(gvg championship). also we can’t grind at wvw with our guild to improve our guild to get better place/placement and features. influence system and merits are for pve oriented, newly started players. we need pvp/wvw/gvg faction points to grind specially for end game(non-pve) users.

Legendary weapons should be “account bound on use”, so we can use our 1400 gold items with our other characters. With constant nerfs/buffs some classes become unplayable or playable, why to stick to one character only ?

that makes crowded boss fights unfair for condition build users. (to deal damage to a boss with 25 stack of conds and get an event prize/loot like other physical attack builds)
they can just remove this cap and increase boss hps for populated/scaled events.

We all hope that it’s true. We need some point to play this game after doing everything including crafting a legendary weapon.
Generally wvw is nice, but there’s no real achievements for both individual players and guilds to achieve. For example, there’s no faction system, no real wvw ratings for guilds and players, wvw ranks are visible only to enemies, no other ppl know who and how progressed you are etc. etc. there should be item equality, but we need some other hardcore things to achieve in this game.

Also, bugged legendary weapon character aura effects must be fixed for all legendaries, it sometimes disappears and the character looks like wielding any other exotic weapon without these “shiny” effects…

Legendary staff “The Bifrost” needs some visual effect improvements and fixes.

At first, character aura effect of this weapon is not working properly and disappearing at random situations(the screenshot is below), it should be always visible to us and other surrounding players. All legendary weapons with aura effects are affected by this problem, not only the Bifrost. Please fix this problem for all legendary weapons, without aura they look like exotic weapons. I’ve crafted this weapon only for this nice “northern aurora” effect, but it doesn’t work properly. It’s really sad to get the highest grade weapon by grinding with difficulty and then having a bugged effect.

Bifrost’s footprint effects are so weak(and nearly invisible) compared to legendary greatswords and other legendaries’ footprints. Also footprint traces are so short compared to the others. They should be improved to add more legendary characteristic to the weapon. At least rainbow effects/traces can occur more frequently as a special feature of this weapon.

For example sunrise and twilight has both good, visible and long footprints and better weapon trace effects compared to other legendary weapons, make other legendary weapon types look as good as them too please, thanks.

I have the same problem with legendary staff “The Bifrost”.
Aura effect randomly disappears while in combat or not. (while weapon is unsheathed ofc)
It happens generally in combat, crowded combat areas but can happen anywhere.
Happens with nearly all legendary weapons with special aura effects.

I’m really disappointed after grinding for hours and getting not-properly working aura effect with my legendary weapon.(bifrost)
It’s not a bright light issue, sometimes aura is not visible(effect is not even rendered) even if the weapon is drawn.
Please fix legendary weapon aura effects, we want to have properly working effects on our legendary items. We have been through so much difficulties in game to get these items, it’s disappointing to see them not working as intended.

Legendary weapon aura effects often get bugged and disappears even if the owner is in combat and weapon is drawn. I’m a “The Bifrost” legendary staff owner and this is really annoying after grinding for hours and getting a bugged, invisible character aura effect.
As i see, the same problem co-exists in eternity, quip, sunrise etc.

If a player uses some health regenerating consumable, it works in arena thus he becomes immortal.
(ones with “Gain health every second” spec)
So many players are exploiting this in arena, please fix it fast. Thanks.

Dear devs, not everyone wants to farm cof p1 repeatedly to get some cash. Add alternative farm spots for us to choose. with the latest cursed shore nerf it became impossible to get some cash from there.(btw, cursed shore was already worse than cof p1 to make cash before the nerf)

Instead of trying to get a precursor drop, save your golds and buy it from tp.
If you are a trader, it would be much faster this way.

It’s because of two reasons;
1- due to southsun, less people are farming cursed shore now (risen types are the main source of t5/t6 dusts)
2- they’ve increased cooldown time of cursed shore events, so it’s harder to farm cs now. you have to wait much longer to find an event. (even with guesting)

We have no option to be invulnerable while stomping a player…
(for ex. thieves have stealth, guard/warrior has stability, ele has mist form, mesmer has f4 shatter, engi has elixir s etc. etc.)
We have no option to escape from a zerg chasing us in wvw…
(like a stealth, weapon movement, or teleport skill)
We generally play as condition necros, yet there’s bleed stack limits on bosses so we can’t deal bleed damage if it reaches 25×.

What we need, buff again op d/d eles, thieves and engineers some more, or fix necro and balance it to other classes ?

At least give us an escape and player finishing option. Add these skills and abilities to death shroud for example. Ds needs to have permanent stability(or at least 5s without using a trait to finish enemies!) and an escape skill to balance necros to other classes.
A thief, mesmer can easily escape from the crowd, a warrior/ranger can use weapon movement skills to escape etc.. Why we can’t ?

If you don’t want to add these abilities to this class, then please nerf other classes’ escape/stomp options to balance. These are more important and annoying than other damage/skill based problems.

Yes we don’t want PvZ (Player vs Zerg) anymore, we all want a real “Player” vs “Player” mode.
Please add something to discourage zergs in pvp, 9 of 10 pvp servers has zerg teams in them. It’s really illogical to capture a flag with 8 people then attack like 5v1.
If we wanted to play versus zergs without even dueling with anyone, we would choose wvw. As i see, none of my guildies are happy with that, and they don’t prefer this mode.

+ Please remove rallies from deaths of other team members.(i mean other than actual killer)

I think, our ranks(and ability masteries) should be visible to friendly units too. Here are my ideas.

Reasons for that :
- We can know fight experience/playtime of surrounding players in wvw
- We can compare our ranks between all players, and try to get better ranks to compete them (which is important for a competitive game/a goal to achieve)
- We can know who has upgraded their abilities to use siege engines etc.
- In short, our ranks mustn’t be only visible to us and enemies, more end-game competitive goals are needed.

Possible implementation to the game :
- Achievement titles are already under our nicknames, so wvw ranks and
specialities must be formed of one or two small visual icon(s) next to our nicknames.
No extra text needed to prevent visual mess.
- Each rank has its own little symbolic icon, as we rank up, our rank icon(s) next to our nicknames change.
- When we click a player and mouseover this player’s icons, it will show the rank title and ability mastery short-details of this player.

I’m using one for my staff(1st set), one for my scepter+dagger(2nd set)(dagger has sigil of earth)

I mean, with this build, the sigil is triggered each time i swap weapon set(ofc in combat), and it works as intended on test golems. But it doesn’t work like that in pvp combat. i wonder the reason. Thanks.

Yes, 1 out of 2 matches has rage quitters. Due to this, we always play 4vs5, 3vs5 etc..
Please find a solution to this. For example 24/12hr ban from tpvp matches.

I’ve tried this sigil at dps trial golems, and it works fine on them. But it doesn’t always work as intended in pvp. It has 9 second cooldown, that’s ok, but even if i haven’t switched to that weapon with sigil for a while, sometimes it doesn’t trigger in combat.
What’s the reason, anyone know ?

Me and many players think that it’s senseless to just rally from a guy you previously hit in pvp. In wvw and pve it’s not so important, but in a 5v5 arena fight, it’s senseless. If you kill your current opponent in downed mode, you may rally. But you can’t rally just because of a previous guy you’ve dealt damage if he dies because of one of your team’s member. The death of that guy mustn’t influence our 1vs1 battle. As I observe, many players hated this game’s pvp system just because of this ridiculous downed mode/rally system.
Also to be fair, all classes must have the same 4-skill set in pvp downed mode.
Some classes have op skillsets in downed mode.
Fix these, and spvp will be more fun to play.

You do not get the buff during the current match after a transfer and possibly the match after that as well.

It also does not apply when you are in Overflow or guesting on another server even if you have never transfered.

Yes I know this. But as I stated, 5 days after my transfer(transfer date: 8th april), a new wvw match started on last Friday night, but I still have no buffs. I think it has more cooldown than we think, or it’s a bug or something. I can’t find a new official information about this from arenanet anywhere. (maybe it’s because i don’t know the right term to search)

I’ve found this on another gw2 forum, but cooldown time isn’t definitely explained.

“Some of our more astute fans asked about the complications involved with switching servers and how it would interact with world bonuses. Every account has a home server where your characters are created. You can only fight for your home world in WvW. You can visit other servers, and while you are visiting, you still get the world bonus from your home world instead of the bonus for the world you are visiting. If you switch your home server, you lose the bonus from your previous home world and are not eligible for the bonus for your new server at least until the beginning of the next battle for the Mists. We may extend this disqualification into the next match or possibly even longer to discourage people from switching servers right before a battle ends in order to get an awesome bonus. You will have to pay a fee to change your home server (price undetermined), and that will also discourage people from server hopping to chase world bonuses. "

Hi,
I’ve recently changed my server, but I can’t get any wvw HP buff (robust etc.) anymore.
What’s the problem, and what am I doing wrong ? This problem occurs both in wvw maps and pve maps (non-overflow normal maps) Also a new match started 5 days after i joined this server, so waiting for matchmaking didn’t solve my problem too. Can anyone help me please ?

How does no one remember that the warrior’s rifle burst skill is 1500 range? Untraited too.

Also it has probably the most damage per one shot. 10-17k crit with one bullet from 1500 range. ^^ (berserker)

I’m currently using scythe staff skin, but there’s no exotic weapon with some great effects of a legendary weapon. (like footprints, outer glow etc.) Addition of a prestigious legendary weapon for necro is needed. We want a darker/gothic themed legendary staff

As a necro player, i want to craft legendary for my character but bifrost’s rainbowy effects and visuality doesn’t suit a dark character like a necromancer. Please add a new, darker legendary staff as an alternative. A staff with twilight gs-like effects would be nice.

I think, with the new wvw ranking/leveling system, addition of rank icons would be nice.
Many old mmorpg’s and fps games have this feature.
They will appear next to our name text just like map completion star. They will be shown in both wvw and pve, thus it ll attract more ppl to wvw battlefields and provide us a point to achieve new goals(ranks).

For example, the image below is from an old game called knight online.
You were able to get new ranks and rank icons(of current rank) next to your name via participating in pk combat and gaining nation points. The icon on the left is a rank, right one is a clan logo.

For wvw, I suggest removal of 5-player aoe hit limit. or at least it must be increased to 10/15. aoe skills are always anti-zergs.

don’t just think it as a player attractor to wvw, it’ll also provide existing wvw players new goals to achieve. wvw is the main end-game content, right ? with these rank icons we can easily see who gets more involved into battle via their ranks/rank logos next to their name. it’s just a little bonus feature for the new patch, not more. but its effect is greater.

It’ll cost me $0.10 each time.

we won’t send sms back to the system, we’ll just enter that sms verification code to gw2 game launcher upon login. but this won’t happen everytime we try to login, just when our previously authorized ip changes.
