It’s ok to sell gemstore skins, but I think if they made those “outfits” as seperate pieced armors it would be better. (Like primeval skin set, etc..)

I think all maps after this date, must be compatible with gliders.
Actually they can allow it on older maps too. As an easy fix, they can make gliders force-close themselves if users try to fly over jumping puzzles. Or they can somehow redesign jumping puzzles to be compatible with gliders. It can be boring if they only work on maguuma just because of these jumping puzzles.
After having a break with GW2, and playing Archeage for a while, I miss usefulness of gliders and mounts while roaming the world. OK, mounts won’t come to this game, but at least please bring gliders to all pve maps.

Today, my trading post icons slightly shifted to their right side and when I’m selling, if I click to silver digits’ square, it increases gold value.
It’s a strange behaviour which has never happened to me before. Is it a general issue currently, or is there a solution to fix it ?

This happened today again, and I also found the cause of the problem.
I double-clicked on the item by mistake and the cursor was on the “Sell instantly” button.
If you somehow double click very quick before the item info/price loads, it sells the item under the highest buyer price, for only some coppers. (The default price there, before the offers load)
The highest buyer price was much higher for this example too.
Developers can set a 1 sec delayed activation for “Sell instantly” button to prevent misclicks. It would allow item info to load first.
The second solution is that “Sell instantly” button can stay inactive till the info loads.
Another solution is server-side price comparations with highest buyer, if your client tries to sell for 60c(while it goes for 20s/highest offer), server should reject it and send error to the client.

You’re slightly mistaken. An item can only not be sold for a price if that price, after taking out the TP fees, is lower than the vendor price. The vendor price for the items you sold was 8c. So, I assume the 10c was technically high enough for the sale to be made, and the highest buy order was given the items of the sale (plus the remainder of the gold left over after paying the 10c per item).
As for how/why it happened, you have to be very careful with your clicking in the TP interface (as I’m sure you now know).

Only about 21s came from this sale. Also if you try to sell them for 10c, it matches the price to the highest buyer, and in the “History > Sold” panel it shows it as sold for 1s60c(which is the highest offer price), not 10c. I’ve tried it afterwards to be sure.
I may have misclicked somewhere on “Sell Items” panel to trigger this issue.
Btw, those weren’t valuable items, just wanted to inform developer team.

Today, I was selling stuff in my inventory. Then I clicked this item while I’m at “Sell Items” tab of trading post, and it suddenly disappeared. Then I saw that they were sold for only 10 copper on trading post. But that was impossible, even if you try to sell them for 10 copper, trading post sets the price to highest buyer/offerer. And the highest offer was around 1 silver 60 coppers. I think that was a bug.
Those items were cheap so my loss isn’t important, but it can happen to valuable items too.

It was horrible, and didn’t fit gw2’s concept. It’s a whole seperate game, as an april 1 joke it was nice, but it has ended and should not go further. They should spend their time for real gw2. Also as an achievement hunter I felt myself obligated to play it for achievements, and didn’t have any fun.
Arenanet, can you please bring “raiment of the lich” outfit back to the gemstore too?
I’m looking forward to buy it.

The game is aoe and zerg based, this reduces the fun of WvW/hotjoin pvp. But after trying all of current mmos, this game is still the best. Most of those mmos are ruined by pay to win shops or hacks/exploits. Their companies just did a suicide with free to play system, one of those games died and lost 90% of players in just 5 months. Gw2’s payment system has done very good job, and the game is still very crowded.
I don’t agree with you on leveling system, gw2’s quests and events are quite good compared to “kill 100 mobs and get x amount xp” quests of many other mmos.
And leveling is not even a problem after the first 2 characters, you get tons of “tomes of knowledge”s and “experience scroll”s to gain levels for alt characters.
One big problem with this game is, I can’t find a “hardcore” goal to reach. I play WvW but getting WXP or WvW levels feel so pointless. If they introduce hardcore goals for the game, it would make me play more. For example, non-sellable legendary skins which only craftable through dominator titles etc…

This is a nice back skin, but it will be so common that 70% of a WvW zerg will be “birds”.
I like rare ones more.

Yes, ho-ho tron is the most annoying mini ever in my opinion. It rings the bell without stopping.
I lower the volume slider for “effects” but it disables skill sounds too. A seperate option would be good.
There weren’t that many minis or backpacks with sound effects before, so that wasn’t a necessity. But after this point, a seperate option would be good. Because sometimes I see 3 ho-ho trons around(mostly cities or crowded waypoints), those constant ding-ding or 8bit sounds give me headaches.

Eternity has always been sold for under its cost. You should have sold twilight and sunrise seperately.
It’s sold for nearly price of 1 legendary. And yes, there are too many legendary weapon sellers, they get undercuts quickly.
There are some suspicious sellers as well, I saw some dude spamming tp with incinerators while undercutting ppl 200g below. He continued to undercut like this for 1-1.5 month then we cancelled our listing. They may be exploring maps and farming karma all day though.
I have a little information on this: Footprints are determined by the geometry of leg joints. That is, the direction of a footprint is determined by the joints of a particular creature’s legs and ankles. For all the races except Charr, those bones bend in the same direction of that of a human, they each have the same “ankle roll.” But if you look at images of the Charr, the ankle roll is different. And it’s the way the leg is configured that results in the footprints being backwards for the Charr. Or, as an artist said, “Once the Ankle goes over the ball of the foot, as it does with the Charr, the footprints get reversed because the (game) engine thinks the foot is pointing the opposite direction.”
Making an adjustment requires the involvement of the Gameplay Programming Team. From what I understand, making this change could require a significant amount of time but I’ll see what we can find out about this.

My eternity, predator and bifrost aura looks great on humans and slim characters, but the same aura stays inside of my charr character. This makes auras invisible on charrs. Thanks.
This bug still exists after 1 year, please fix it. I can’t use my fancy back items as intended with my engineer. Thanks.
Infinite mana = Skill spam. They won’t be adding mana to the game’s mechanics imo.
Less frequent, but more powerful skills would solve this problem.

In sound options, we have options to disable everything seperately. (Including player instruments.)
It would be good if we had an option to seperately mute or lower the volume of mini pets.
I always have tons of mini hoho-tron, toy and super adventure box minis around me in cities and their sharp toned sounds really annoy me and give me headaches. Because of that, I mute effects volume. But then, I can’t hear other game effect sounds too. Please allow us an option to disable their sounds, thanks.
In WvW we need a counter against hammer spam warriors in front line of zergs. This change will make WvW players spam even more ccs.
A diminishing returns/immunity to cc system should be added for WvW zerg fights first before a stability nerf.
I actually hate “stunlock for easy win” mechanic in mmorpgs, and I hope they nerf ccs instead of stability.
I think, dragon ball should be in permanent daily activities rotation.
I also miss this feature. I could just add to what I was already selling and not have to scroll through my list. Please bring this back.
Yes, It was a nice, QoL improving feature. Currently it’s harder to find your listing among “current transactions > selling” category, then going back to “sell items” menu and determine the price. It’s for one reason : I don’t want to undercut my listings or other ppl’s listings by mistake, and ruin the market for that item.
One button to instantly match your current selling price was the perfect feature for that.

actually what i meant was what eternity mixing with the new greatsword legendary, is a bit too much, greatswords would still be one mix higher than other weapons, unless it is disabled for greatsword only.
In my opinion, Eternity is already a combined, last tier legendary. It shouldn’t be able to be combined again. Only non-combined, tier 1 legendaries(two of the same type) should be combinable to get a better looking, higher tier version. Combined ones must be the last form(the best skin for that weapon type), and shouldn’t have possibility(recipes) to be combined again.
What I expect is :
1) Legendaries must be removed from TP: They must be effort-based. Instant-legendary with 3rd party gold mustn’t be a thing. It would make them more rare, and for only effort-giving players.2) Dark variants for “rainbow” legendaries : Yes, many people think it would be better if there was also a dark/evil/gothic themed staff, longbow, shortbow, focus etc… (Example: Twilight greatsword) I expect new legendaries to look like this.

For the 3rd, I didn’t mean combination of different weapon types. For example: Two different legendary staves(both are the same weapon type:staff) should be combinable to get a 3rd legendary staff. Just like combining two legendary greatswords to get a 3rd legendary greatsword, eternity.
Up to 50-man raids for WvW would be good. Can’t tell about dungeons, i don’t play PvE aspect that much.

Isn’t it possible to completely remove those gold sellers from the game ? I know, individuals can still RMT, it’s not preventable in mmos. But, at least, you can prevent bigger sellers or companies. You can actually ban 3rd party gold buyers too, to make 3rd party gold sales unpreferable. It would be win-win for both you(arenanet) and players. We are experiencing market inflation and everything is becoming harder to get because of botters and gold sellers. On your aspect, many people prefer gold sellers instead of black lion trading company, and you lose income. As a player, I want you to make profit from gem/gold sales, not those gold sellers/botters. So you can fund more expansions like this
- Please fix the bug where it eats 231 of my stack of 250 silver that I want to sell
- Where are all the old items I was selling? i.e. at least 2 pages of thick leather sections – I don’t see them in my current transactions.
- Please put the “Match your current selling price” option back
I really miss “Match your current selling price”(Match your current listing) option too. Currently we have to find our older listing and match its price manually. It may not look that important, but lowers ease of usage of the TP dramatically. The new TP needs the old TP’s iconic features. It needs to add to the old one.
And I agree with you guys, saveable preferences would be good. I always sell high priced ones or rares first from my inventory. So when I try to sell, I always have to click price button 2 times to set it to “order by price, decreasing” setting. But as mentioned above, we have to set more things manually now, which lowers ease of use.
Matching lowest seller/Highest bidder by default can be an option at preferences menu. For example I always match lowest seller and sell at maximum quantity.
I need to set them manually everytime.
At least “Match lowest seller” and “Match your current listing” buttons were good for fast listing. Especially in situations I described in my first post.

I really liked the new TP “Buy Items” section. But I have some concerns about “Sell Items” section.
After the last update, selling at TP requires more clicks and this makes it harder to sell while running at WvW zerg or while playing dungeons.
When we try to sell, default quantity is set to 1 now. It was selecting the maximum amount before, thus selling bags or salvage items were easier. But we have to select the maximum amount manually now.
Also, selling ui is a bit harder to access now, we need to click more to access selling ui.
Now we can see listings seperately at sell ui, but I’m still missing “match lowest seller” button near “List item” button for faster selling.
These aren’t very important when you have time, but in WvW or dungeons, you have to do these very quickly to keep up with your party or team. Having less clicks to do these would improve in game QoL experience.
Also as a suggestion, saveable settings/preferences for Trading post would be good.
For example :
Default selling quantity [Dropdown: Lowest/Maximum]
Default inventory items listing [Dropdown: Higher valued items first/Lower valued items first/Order by rarity]

Thanks for the new features, I appreciate them as a frequent trader.
Also, please allow us to pick up bought items seperately, picking them up all at once is not possible sometimes.
I don’t know if this is already among the new features, but if it isn’t, I think it’s a must for every trader.
As I’m a frequent trader, sometimes I have many bought items(from orders i put) and when I need a food or something for my characters, I can’t pick it up without trying to pick&sell them all. I don’t have enough inventory size on all of my characters.
I need my friends to buy these items for me when I have a big queue waiting for pick-up.
It would be a nice QoL improvement if we could pick items up seperately.
It will also be good if you release this feature with the next trading post feature pack, it can be a good improvement with this update.
Please allow us to pick up bought items seperately, picking up all at once is not possible sometimes.
I agree on this post, when I was a new player and I was leveling, the game was very exciting for me with a lot of quests and stories to do. But after playing for thousands of hours(2 years), I’m having hard time to find a hardcore goal to play for. I have 18k+ap, PvP R80, WvW R1600+, Eternity and 4 other legendaries etc… Currently need some other hardcore end-game goals to keep playing. I mean, arenanet is a great company, but imo they should spend their time and efforts for permanent end-game revamps and features. Leveling and being a new player takes only 1-1.5 weeks.(maybe even lower for hardcore players)
Give extra 1 bag per completed pre-event at the end of the meta world event, and it’s done. Noone would sit there and miss those bonus bags.
If 300g is nothing now, then anyone that thinks so can send me 300g now. After all, it’s a very low amount, so you won’t miss it.
So, if everyone puts their money where their mouth is, I should be expecting several thousand gold in my mail in a few minutes.

No, they definitely need these special armors as a reward for their special skills and accomplishments.
Currently, everything is easily accessible, that’s just wrong. Dedicated, hardcore players need special (visual) rewards and goals that can’t be obtained by casuals.
I’ll possibly never get this hero’s armor, but I support those who put effort to win these tournaments.
