Instead of complaining about your servers doing badly and moving to higher tier ones, you should build up your community and DRAW people from tier 1-2-3 servers to your low pop servers because you have a nice community and NO QUES/little lag….

Dear ANET. WE from [Rise] on Gunnars Hold would like to know if with this last update you just applied intended to remove PLACED guild siege from our tower?!?!! We Had durios sieged up for defence from any incoming attack using our guild siege, and once your patch had eb back online it was ALL gone.

We sank alot of time into sieging up our tower, all the regular siege is still there but none of our guild stuff. Would you kindly explain as to why/what you can do to fix this? Seriously, if you can’t patch without causing more mistakes than fixes why patch atall.

I realise this sounds a little harsh but you must understand that alot of effort went into that, and its disappointing to see it ruined, not because of a sucesfull attack, but a bug.

Recently I saw quite a few people from UW’s guilds roaming in our ranks. Is UW’s population THAT desperate?

I think GH will finish either 4th or 5th. We are good at prime time and we have a decent night capping force. But early morning til afternoon we are really, really weak.

Well my guild actually transferd here because UW wvw was dying, and the community with it. Too much drama and such, so we decided we’d like a fresh start on a new server. Gh was a strong choice both community wise and size wise, we can still roam as a guild and the community thus far has been nothing but welcoming to us, which has been really nice.

I don’t understand why you’d call us desperate for leaving our realm.. Unless you’re just being mean to us because we finished you one too many times in wvw before we switched

Guys you should know that Vaacrow is trolling and making major exaggerations.

One guild on underworld had a vote with its members and has decided to have a break from defending.
Another guild leader from a smaller guild posted a thread on our forum about what we should do about the league idea.

Noone has agreed to anything, noone is dropping on purpose, it was just posted in a thread.

Vaacrow just likes posting that everyone who disagrees with him is a traitor to their server and that real wvwers would do this or that all the time :P

The reality is nothing is decided and we couldn’t go 4 comments without name calling :P

Please look at the scores of our last matchup against both fsp and gh, and tell me this has had no impact, also please re-read the community thread and tell me where i insulted you baselessley, You earned every bit of what has been given to you this day for your once again poor decisions. And less of the personal attacks on me because you got caught with your hand of the cookie jar, please, the moment jarni posted that thread up it was enacted by those guilds immideatley. So much hypocrism in this thread, i can totally understand UW’s thought of willing to drop, when being a server with a lot of pugforce behind their strenght, and knowing you’ll have to fight 7 weeks of being outmanned vs mostly bunkerguilds and higher numbers the prospect doesn’t look rather fun, not everyone wants to play in a bunkerguild to compete or enjoys bunkerwars as much as these people do, nor does everyone want to transfer away from their home server.

If anything the massive transfers with the announcement of the league’s the past months have changed the landscapes of servers more then any of these players have, and sadly their approach is simply a naturel reaction of the motion set in place by Anet’s decision to hold league’s.

I’m glad FSP got some much needed love and we’ll at least be able to hold our ground in the silver league now, but without the influx we recently gotten i can imagine, offpeak and not being in a guild in primetime could turn a lot of our pugs also down in a similiar situation.

Let’s face it people prefer somewhat balanced matches and not stomps, 300k to 100k matches or even worse are often not the most fun overall for either side, and if you’d have to choose to be on one of those sides it’s naturel most would choose to be on the stomping side.

I totally agree with this. Its so easy screaming that is shameful to intentionally lose. But most if not all the servers in the same spot would come to this conclusion. People play this game for their own fun, and they make decisions to improve their fun. With a big chance to lose every kitten fight in the coming weeks ain’t fun. And don’t come with crap like it a good opportunity to improve your skills. wvw is sadly all about having big numbers in wvw, something being a pve server underworld lacks . Putting the discussion about dropping a tier or not aside, I find it very sad that vaacrow decided to put this on the matchup thread while it is something underworld self must work out.

People like this don’t get dealt with by our community, Times has proven that, The only way to deal with that is to show them what other people think of their plan. as they will not listen to reason or appeal in game.

Also Bez i’m sorry to see that you left uw, i know we didn’t always agree, but you were a valueable commander to our server, and you will be missed.

I am aware that it is none of my business but just curious, was this decision widely voted through huge part of the community or was it initially discussed by a few select leaders/commanders/people? A decision this big should have everyone’s thoughts in mind, and before going ahead with it find out who “will” actually transfer out if this decision is made. Seems like it was made before finding out it’s consequences and losses to the community, (though im probably wrong).

None of my guild were informed prior to this decision being made, though as soon as monday came about rumours we’re flying. I don’t know about the other guilds still fighting in eb/bl and if they knew as i can’t speak for them, though i doubt they did.

In all likely hood it was just the few bigger guilds who started that thread that had agreed to do it. it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve upset the server like this.

Thanks, [ape] will still put up all the fight we can in wvw, but we’re only 10-15 at our strongest at the moment so i doubt it will make up for this blow.. hopefully this will make them see how ridiculous this notion was and is.

Hey VaaCrow, do you want to know a secret? When we are capping the borderlands bloodlust, we are still using our teambuilds. Tell me, is there a point in doing a 1v1 with a teambuild against someone with a dueling/roaming build? I didn’t think so either.
Secondly, when our WvW leader tells us to regroup, we go regroup; we don’t go do a pointless 1v1 that doesn’t give any benefit.
I thank you for your input over things you can clearly not understand.

I didn’t post here because you ran from me roaming, that wouldn’t bother me. You simply run from any sort of balanced fight. If i’m defending a camp, sentry, or a bloodlust point, you literallaly take one hit to test the water, and run. Theres a large difference between you being group built and you being too afraid to enter a fight. I think you should be less afraid of losing the stacks you built up killing marsh drakes, personally. As for benefit, What benefit does running away give? is it rewarded with badges and wxp and realm points? same as kiling a player, capping a tower, camp is? Thought not, you wouldn’t understand i guess.

Fsp guild [DIE] Gj glitching into a fully upgraded jerrifers then flipping it, no gate down or anything. You’re a disappointment to both your server and this matchup. IF you can’t cap a tower without glitching this isn’t the game for you.

This is not meant as whining nor as anything against RAGE but all you enjoy is open field hugging with your other GH guilds. I rarely saw some of you running alone when the enemy had numbers close to yours.
At the reset DEX was able to stomp you 2 times, we had at the reset arround 25 people. In the week we had never more that 15 people and now we got stomped by your melee train. Nearly all i have seen from RAGE during the week in the prime times was hand holding with various other GH guilds. We faced you a few times in the open areas but allways were outnumbered there. You dont seek a challenge you seek kills and slaughter.

This is my personal opinion but i think many of the smaller UW guilds think the same.
Maybe its even something only DEX expierienced.

And here i have a small story to counter your roaming drama. DEX heard once that some guys of HT go to our northcamp. After a hard day of fighting big guild groups we had only 6 people that reacted and came to defend the camp. At the western exit we saw the roaming group of arround 10 HT which got supported by some other people. We dediced to attack them and even pushed them in the open field area outside of the camp and even downed a few people. In the middle of the fight something painful ran over us. The RAGE meleetrain came veiled into our 6 man group that allready was outnumbered. You interrupted a really nice small scale fight of which the end wasnt decided yet.

Oh my, someone got outta bed sore today.

Being an UW player who enjoys running alongside APE guild quite often I have to say your perception of RAGE is at best situational. I myself have had some decent fun attacking and defending against them this week and previously and imo they don’t look to blob and Karma train.. in fact quite the opposite they appear to either go looking for trouble or react to it when it finds them. Every guild whether it runs with a tag or not will at times pick up stragglers or in some cases when a guild commands respect on their own maps other players choose to run alongside them rather than following other groups or commanders.

So please quit the whine and learn to just roll with the punches… its WvW not 1v1 and all is fair in love and war.

Gotta say abaddons, fighting you is like fighting a bad joke, you belong in a higher tier where skill is meaningless and numbers count for everything, not against opponents like UW and Millers, I mean 60 people to flip a camp, 13people at the start of eb jp, six of which were commanders. I mean honestly, When i get asked to describe this matchup it will just be “how many abaddons does it take to change a lightbulb?” “depends, how many are online at the time”. Good luck miller/UW this week, hopefulyl we’ll get some good fights.

Great matchup so far, had more fun in wvw than i have in weeks! I really hope this will continue to be an awesome week of wvw.

Even my beloved jp was affected Temp, I went from the chest to bottom of arena in a heartbeat. no cause or anything, alive too, but i just appeared down there haha.

This lag effecting all matchups? Underworld here, eb is unplayable, i just rubberbanded from quentin lake to langor. Any dev wanna say whats causing it/eta for fix..?

Guild v Guild doesn’t belong in world versus world, whilest your having your duels your taking up que slots for people who could be attacking/defending on that map, doesn’t matter if the people who would be there are militia/upscaled, WvW is about objectives. See this objectivley. Yes people occasionally using crafting stations do take up slots but theres never 20 people sitting on each one for hours doing their crafting, unlike guild versus guild groups.
Fact of the matter is world versus world is not GvG however much you would like it to be, quit annoying wvwers with these events and start to annoy anet on the forums with dozens and dozens of threads asking for gvg.

Just be aware not everybody shares your view, op. I disagree with most of your argument and think that while yes some might find gvg fun it is detrimental to the servers wvw efforts on the whole. Also, inb4 you flame me for having a different opinion OP.

OH btw your attitude towards militia/pugs/casuals is very, holier than thou. they do alot for a servers community, and should be treated with the same respect you treat one of your guildies, the only thing they don’t have that you do is your guild tag. They deserve a slot in WvW exactly as much as an experienced wvwer does, so saying “would you rather have 20pugs or a 20man experienced groups” is an easy question, i’d take the pugs, atleast they’d be doing something productive with their time in wvw, instead of taking part in/spectating something thats not even meant to be going on in WvW.

I acknowledge that you have nowhere else to do GvG but this isn’t a problem you should be storming the community with, its somethign you should discuss with Anet. WvW is WvW gvg accomplishes nothing, no towers/camps/keeps captured, nada.

Hey guys, fili here, uw has been having some awesome fights in eb today against aurora, we might not field your numbers but we sure made you bleed when you came running into out corner this afternoon, after two attempts for quent and one for bravost you were off over the hills to FSP corner, which was a massive relief for us haha.
Anyhow, don’t let this one negative UW influence your opinion of us, we are a strong server, and our eb presence is nice, we might not have big numbers but our players know what to do under the right commander. – the one that posted the comment above tags on “6-7” hours a day when we’re against opponents he can farm wxp from.

That Aside, This week promices to be a great fight, i hope we can have another bay battle like last time which i believe someone from AG all ready mentioned, that was one of the greatest fights i’ve had in this game. Gl on the battlefield all.

Erm, I worked for my tag, ran cof till my mind was numb, did fractals and all that kitten, I’d appreciate it if you respected those of us that chose to farm/grind our tags for the better of our servers wvw, we didn’t get handouts and farming 100g is a nightmare. So to say all of us are children or getting the money from our parents is a very inaccurate/offensive claim :/ I’m not saying that all commanders farm/work for their tag but don’t bring us all down with comments like this.

yeah i dont mind being denied entry because we lose a keep, it makes it brilliant to try to survive in there for as long as ya can, but still. being denied entry because we have to que for eb like everyone else is silly. give us a way in from bl, or an asura gate from LA. anything but the 40 miniute que just to leave eb as soon as i get in.

Why then do i have to WAIT in que to go to the puzzle, which isn’t even APART of EB any more? seriously. give me a way to get to jp without having to wait obscene amounts of time to get into it. i was qued for 40 mins today, for EB, when i didn’t even want to be there, i wanted to be in tkitten jp… fix this anet, seriously, its a separate map so give it a separate entry point that isn’t in eb..
