i know understand TW, a guild full of members with short term memory loss. they must of forgot that we challenged them to a gvg, just like they forget how many numbers they run. oh you must of forgot yourself referring to tw as the kings in the last page too.

Yeah we did turn down a GvG after fighting the very skilled EP, they showed us a lot of stuff as a guild that we were doing wrong. We also lost our GL to a business trip 2 days after that GvG, why would we go into a GvG unprepared and without our GvG leader? Thank you though for this post, most of our guys are getting a good laugh atm! Don’t lose hope my precious soul, a GvG between EP and TW for 20 v 20 crown will happen I’m sure. For all the hate towards GvG’s, you guys sure are coming out in force asking for them! Maybe Anet will notice.

Calling [WvW] ‘lol’ is not a good thing to do, they are honorable opponents in JQ. I knew them as hardcore elements from [SOS] guild in Kaineng. They are good folks who were deciding between TC and SOR some time back. They chose TC but they have transferred to JQ. BG and SOR folks are a bit disappointed as JQ SEA has almost all maps covered. With the 30-40 transfers JQ SEA will be a full 4 map force.

I had exchanged information with them during their time in TC advising them on some matters and have kept in touch with some of their folks, but I was surprised at their move. Nonetheless, I hope they will fit into the T1 scene well. So even though I have informed one of my [WvW] contacts that we will seek them out in the battlefield to test their mettle, please be assured that it is nothing personal.

SUPR is by headed by CA GL. They are not a new guild in BG. BG SEA now has approx 20-30% less numbers than 2 weeks ago and the PPT is telling.

I don’t know why people like to call JQ stacked in SEA just because ATM gets a ton of PuG followers. JQ has a zerg in EB, but all 3 servers always have a kitten zerg in EB, rofl. The ppt scores in SEA are always about the same between the servers now that BG has taken a hit in our SEA numbers. Waha/ATM needed another guild like WvW to do work in other borderlands since he can’t be in all of them at once. Your own server just recruited another SEA guild named [AT] into your forces. And as for your last sentence, [WvW] has plenty of forces to fight during their timezone. Certainly on SoR

We do call JQ stacked in SEA but NOT just becoz there’s ton of pug, instead there are tons of guilds. Guild force itself has the potential to field 3maps. Not to mention pugs.

There is not tons of guilds… [ATM] leads the borderland zerg, [Ge] commands EB, and now they have [WvW] to help the borderland coverage. I am aware that there is other smaller PvX guilds in that timezone, but please do post screenshots of times that they lead a group in wvw. :P

We’re over halfway the matchup and all 3 servers are within 5K of eachother.
Since the new recruitments not a single timezone has had a blowout by one server or another anymore and ppt stays withing 50-75 points from eachother.

The only people i can see here with legit complaints are the ones who used to PvDoor and now lost that ability.

Most people are enjoying the new balance, no worries. Even though our SEA has taken a big hit in numbers, at least we aren’t hitting 400+ ppt during that time. I think most people expected JQ to make a comeback anyway. Sour attitudes from your enemies just proves that you stand a chance against them.

SEA Once belonged to JQ, but BG is close and may have more then JQ now , SOR is a little behind in this time zone but thats ok we will work with the great teams we have here. Even this timezone tho isnt as bad as it once was and is alot closer

I really think of all the timezones, SEA plays the deciding factor in most matchups. BG may sometimes be ahead, but JQ dominates just as long and as often, and even SoR rears its head to capture commanding leads for many hours. Last night, we had a tough time maintaining ~200 ppt, and our forces dwindled to a roaming 20-man far before the end of primetime.

I’d say during SEA it’s JQ still on top, then BG. But SoR is just a fingernail behind BG. You really need to see what paltry forces we need to make do with often times while SoR has two maps queued, with a respectable force on a third map.

Nah, BG doesn’t beat SoR in SEA anymore. ND isn’t fielding much anymore due to their guild being deleted and a couple commanders stepping down, Meow transfered, Thai doesn’t rally in wvw anymore, WM is outnumbered, etc. SoR’s SEA force is still going strong & now they have a new SEA transfer, [AT] from Dragonbrand.

You have no idea what You’re talking about. Yes, ATM has one huge zerg of 60+. ATM fields around 30+ of their guildies, but Waha pulls all the pugs in naturally. JQ often has a HUGE militia group in EB everytime, with around 40+. Don’t even get me started with Ge, TKG and GGYY. These guilds usually field 20 on an average.

I do have an idea what I’m talking about since I have been playing during BG oceanic/SEA for months on end.

That group in EB is [Ge]. JQ isn’t the only one with a zerg in EB during SEA. :P

I caught a wonderful bit of footage on my livestream acouple hours ago.

I and 4 others were on our way to JQ-BL north camp, we entered and started on the camp and was responded too by about 10 JQ players. We pulled back to the alter of power and i noticed the JQ players set up and build an AC at the base of the stairs for us.

Oh, come off it. ANet is doing wayyyy better than your average company who is in charge of an MMO. You actually get quick customer support from ANet (who currently has more customers than other companies who fail to provide constant customer support). They are providing us with constant patches that have changes to hopefully keep balance in this game. Tons of patches that try to balance the classes… most companies will not do this.

We have constant content updates.

Oh is THAT what that was? We saw some random ballistas on BGBL earlier, and were quite puzzled. They were kind of at the shore line near BG garry. We just shrugged and killed em.

Yep if we stop he drops them and drops more as long as pugs build them, he drops 3-6 on every supply camp we take stopping us from supplying up/waste pug supply. He drops 8 sites on every flame ram/gate/catapult/trebuchet. He wastes keep supply by surrounding the supply depot with ballistas.

On top of all this he has been offensive in chat as well as spamming map chat. All of that and he is still plaguing us, very disappointing.

Exactly. Not to mention that this guy will spend hours doing this. He’s more than your average troll and dedicates an unusual amount of time doing this :P

So, to SoR and JQ… when you see random ballistas built everywhere… look for a BG commander with a [BALL] guild tag and kill him for us. Lol.

I seriously lol’d when I heard about this. It is a guild vs guild fight. If you consider those tactics legit, then you’re saying it’s legit to tuck your tail and run to safety when you think you’re gonna go down. Honestly, if the other guild has your members to where they are DYING and have to run away… then they win. Running away to recuperate and hide is some lame stuff.

Also, I don’t care if this conversation ended yesterday.

Resetting is a legitimate tactic. If you have a problem with it, maybe you should learn how to keep your target in combat.

Maybe legitimate in any fight besides a guild vs guild showdown. I think what needs to be “learned” is how to properly survive and win. My target in a gvg should be staying in combat with his guild without me having to chase him down and finish what was already done. If you’re dying, then you’re losing.

Err… in a duel it’s considered an automatic forfeit… same with 1v1 tournies… but this is WvW/GvG…

Bro, we are talking about GvG here. I don’t care about your zerg tactics or your 1v1 views. “Learn and adapt” to staying alive and defeating your opponent in a more honorable and worthy manner of victory. Or just keep running away to reset your health every time your strategies fail you.

The WvW political climate has switched, JQ SEA focuses SoR now because of IRON trolls and other antics from SoR.

JQ and SoR did support one another at this time, but it is gone.

According to Waha, there is no other better/stronger guilds better than MERC from BG( well, I am guessing he is talking about MERC’s SEA force). They are much stronger than ATM in terms of coverage and size. He mentioned a few times he wont be happy to see if MERC left from BG and he believe the match-up will be too bored. Waha/ATM respect them hard and Waha doesnt give kitten to IRON at all.

Oh by the way, ‘IRON you messed up everything.’- this word isn’t from me, I am just a minion of ATM, I heard it from lots lots and lots other JQers, including Waha ATM.

The amusing part of that statement is most of SEA, ATM and MERC spend most of it avoiding each other.

Our SEA has focused SoR for a total of 2 weeks, please ask BG how many times our SEA was all over them. I am not here to argue but come on now, your judging everything based on 2 weeks.

To Indo’s philosophy I reply, with all due respect, that’s a rather immature view of competition. You can be feared but respected by your foes. But in light of some of the rampant trolling that takes place, I guess it goes to show how much influence one guy has on the whole population. The rest of us just have to suffer the noise

Consider the fact that half the BG guilds talk kitten about each other in /map chat regularly. I think Indo’s philosophy is probably the better one.

I’d rather be on the server that has a positive friendly community than the poisonous one where everyone went there just to win and people disrespect their own teammates.

Do what? Thanks for enlightening a group of Blackgate players (who are part of prominent Blackgate guilds) that this sort of thing goes on in wvw in the very server that we play on. We had no idea. Thankfully, we have someone from a different server with more knowledge of Blackgate than we do who can keep us up to date.

Denial is beautiful don’t get me wrong, but BG’s drama spills into SoR’s TS regularly.

I promise that my Blackgate connections are better than your Blackgate connections. I have no need for denial because Blackgate has grown as a community and if it isn’t apparent past the point of me mentioning it… then you can just see it however you would like.

I can recall days when the only fights FOO could get in the past was from MERC and ND. This goes all the way back to SoS. So I agree with you, Jet. It’s been a long, long fight between us and most people haven’t forgot.
