It seems BG is so desperate for ppt (to get ahead of JQ for #2) that they are trying to farm uplevels karma training.

My feelings exactly, guess you guys want to stop the whole “it’s friday everyone relax and pre-reset karma train” thing and just go back to earlier in the week where SoR served you your hearts on a paper plate. I swear every time I think I’ve seen BG at their lowest, they prove that they’re always willing to take that next step down. Oh well, I suppose a little temper tantrum is acceptable since it’s some sign of life out of BG this week.
To both of you- that was just one guild who happens to enjoy fighting the karma trains on Fridays. Blackgate as a server had their own karma trains going just like you. Open your eyes and you won’t have to come here and pointlessly rage.
No one is trying to say we were the only ones in the field. We’re not so tunnel visioned to not see other tags around us and claim only 29 [Coin] were on the borderland that evening. Forces were pretty much equal on both sides.
I am well aware you can see the minimap, you’re free to count the dots. Hiding it is an interesting suggestion, but while your valuable lessons in propaganda and fact-manipulation are appreciated, sadly I have no use for them.

Dunno how many is in VII form BG, 60 count come from Iron, that screen show close to 40 so zerg any way, with ads from ally players easily can get close to 60 which is not Original VII way of play.

I wouldn’t be so quick to judge BG based on this performance. They could just be tired, SOR had a similar week after our 5 wins in a row:
- slacked off all weekend and let BG build a lead
- pushed kitten Monday to cut the lead
- BG pushed back and increased the lead
- SOR took the rest of the week off and rested

Yeah. It’s good when you can recognize that in your opposing servers. We’ve been playing against each other long enough to know what the other is made of. I promise you that Blackgate is not playing with all that we have to offer. I am not saying that a “break” has been declared in Blackgate, but after everything was made paper during EST prime after ANet re-opened WvW and we didn’t come out with as much morale and numbers as SoR did, a few guilds have said they will be playing casually for the remainder of the week and are not worrying about PPT or even upgrades for the most part.
I wish IRON would stop wiping COIN, I prefer to have more than 1 fps whilst playing.

You should be more concerned with making amends with ex MERC who jumped ship. It’s unfortunate BG’ers disrespected their past/present contributions to the server.

I hope those of you that dont enjoy massivly outnumbering the enemy is glad to see new EU guilds here on NA as well. I could imagine it have been borring at times, to have an EU guild on NA that fields 40+ and everyone else running around in groups of 15-25.

Once league starts and winning means something we’ll start seeing how strong/weak certain time zones really are. I know there are a few time zones on other servers that have been tanking to look weaker.
I highly doubt when league starts JQ sea against BG will be at 450-500 like it is now
Once league starts, the top 3 won’t be playing each other all that much. I think the top 3 are setting themselves up for some really boring matches.

If he did, it was probably because he couldn’t get his crew into bgbl while [ge] and the enthusiastic pugs were there trying oh so hard to take bay and wouldn’t move off so the man could do his work. I guess because ge thought they could do better or…they were just hard tunnel vision mode.
Whatever the case was, ge sure did us a service! It’s a lot easier to defend against them than Waha with his much more disciplined [ATM] military.
Despite what you may think GE’s leader is still inexperienced in fielding borderlands. His role started to shift from EB to borderlands a few weeks ago. He’s testing out various methods and see what BG does. He’s not used to the 15+ superior carts that BG used last night, and I just offered some additional advice to attack bay (I’m also new from EB, started wvwing 1-2 months ago, glad to know BG’s happy in beating down the inexperienced).
When it comes to fair open field battles you guys didn’t win much, did you.

I also want to throw in The Kelly Gang [TKG] from Jade Quarry server. They are an Oceanic guild with a focus on WvW and other things. They are looking for members currently, so definitely keep them in mind.

Well…TC sorta has a Hawaii timezone’d guild with KH…They’re actually NA, but they start their runs at like, 9 PM Server and keep going until like 2 AM Server or some.
I believe the current highest offer T1s have for them is 5k gold + transfer costs, btw, in case you guys are considering buying. (They rejected that, btw).
It’s so funny because most people think KH is German or something.
For people who think BG SEA is stacked because of last night, I might have to disagree. BG’s SEA was very effective because they turned everything paper and WP’d there stuff during Oceanic to give them a easier time at SEA its a very smart thing to do. So keep the fights up BG!
Thank you for this, Jet! We had a killer time during Oceanic. Not to mention, KnT stayed up through Oceanic to help us as well. What everyone saw happen was a team effort planned before Oceanic/SEA even started.

A group of my friends and I are looking to move servers. I am stationed in Korea, and my friends are from Hong Kong and Australia. Currently there are about four or five of us who are looking for a more active place to play. We would like a PvX guild.
Hoping that we might find a guild who is looking for some good players. Most of us have been in the game rather steadily since launch.
Since our current Server Darkhaven has been on a rather slippery slope as of late. We either get destroyed or we dominate, our experience has been rather stale. Also given the timezone difference we don’t see as many players about who we might play with.
We have been looking at Blackgate and Tarnished Coast, as our two main options.
Ideally we would like to get in some good fights, and find a good guild to hang out with.
If someone could give us an idea on que times for WvW or suggestions on the communities from servers/guilds that might welcome us that would be great.
If someone could reply with some details or message me in game that would be great.
You could consider joining Black Lion Mercenary [MERC] on Blackgate. We are a WvW focused guild, but it’s definitely not against the rules to PvE. :P We do participate in guild missions and have daily WvW runs during Oceanic and SEA prime. We are greatly admired by our server and are always welcoming new members into the guild. Our members are from many regions, such as Australia, Honk Kong, New Zealand, and North America. Blackgate also has Korean guilds that you could follow in WvW if you desired.
Blackgate guilds and members do not mind playing outside of their timezone to help the other guilds of our server. This includes Asian prime- which we currently need extra assistance in. We have guilds in this timezone that would help to support your guild in the field. As of now, our SEA guilds need support from loyal guilds who are looking for a new home.

Let just focusing the topic on SEA. It is not about morale, it is the fear. The rumor they kept spreading about themselves leaving JQ on their own chinese community forum (before WVW left TC and joined JQ) was the main factor.
And another fix for you, I don’t know what timezone you play in but BG never ticked at 400ppt in the match with SOR/JQ other than the weeks we 2v1 sor with JQ. And that could rarely happen again, JQ will always focus on BG SEA due to personal grudge and SOR, well we just don’t like holding hands together XD
Along with JQ, they always ticked average 300ppt before WVW guild joined. BG SEA never ticked average 400+ for hours ever.

So, it’s not that JQ has overstacked their SEA as much as it is that we just don’t have much SEA anymore.
Little fix, TMD is not from former CA. They are alliance between BG mandarin-speaking community – LLB and XF.
To help further highlighting JQ SEA number now, they have 3 maps constantly queue of more than 20 mins from GMT+8 2000 to 2300 and a group of 30 lingering around their own BL doing nothing. 2 and a half maps after 0000, let BG and SOR SEA together won’t match that number.
And of course someone mentioned that the situation was exactly the same 2-3 months ago? I should have posted the same thing when JQ complained for being outnumbered, remember the mass recruitment to full status right before free transfer ended? Human being tends to forget and ignore unfavored facts and statements. Anyways, JQ has now gained huge number in SEA and EU which SOR NA can’t even match and that’s the www the new bandwagon SEA guild looking for so I decided to respect their decision despite their SEA never respect any human being on BG (GE? yeah GE, pls stop calling me dog i am a charr).

Im seeing 80 man zergs in all 3 borderlands from JQ. Sure, BG took a hit here with guilds, but define “overstacked”, because I cannot think of another server that can field anywhere near the numbers JQ can during this timezone. Right now JQs sea is the most stacked timezone in the game by my definition. And by no means take this as anger or frustration. I just like to call a spade a spade.
That was morale that you were seeing in all 3 borderlands. It would look the same if it was just us vs SoR. SoR SEA is big too, and now even bigger with their transfers. Uh, why did you say “trolls?” There’s nothing plural about that. That is only one guy. One guy has been making the complaints about JQ SEA. Nice try, though. Most of us don’t want to troll JQ. Their server is better fit against BG and SoR now.
Get a taste of leagues SoR, this is what happens when you decide to stack.
People discredited this statement because he whines a lot I guess. But he says the truth. during the first season there may be 1-2 good matchups the entire time. Most will be like this match up or even worse a JQ,BG,DB or something like that. And no matter how much TC wants to push the whole T1.5 garbage, the truth is they are top of T2 because of their fairweather population. No higher.
Anet is consolidating the WvW population onto a handful of servers. I dont know if it is intentional or not. Time will tell on that, but the result is there are going to be 3 servers that can compete with each other during the leagues for score and then all the rest of the servers.
I would prefer a Blackgate, SoR, SoS matchup to say a hypothetical Blackgate, Ehmry Bay, SoS matchup. When you have 2 strong servers the focus turns on them to fight each other more, that’s why when we fought TC and SoR 2 weeks ago we only came from 30k points of TC because while TC and SoR were fighting it out concentrating on each other we were gaining points.
JQ seems to have overstacked and now they are ahead of BG and SoR.
Nah, they have just overrun us in SEA. BG’s SEA has taken a huge drop in numbers. Other than that, I’d say JQ is more up to par with BG/SoR now.
