Yes you were, and your enthusiam in wanting to play against T1 servers showed the way DB came out swinging and took the lead right off the getgoat. Kudos to everyone at DB. I hope there will be many more matchups in the future like this involving T1 servers with T2s to keep WvW fresh and interesting for everyone.
You guys at DB have shown a great attitude the whole week even when you knew you would most likely end up in 3rd for this week. A real classy example we all can learn from.
One last thing. You guys came on strong last night holding onto Bay at SoRBL against us during SEA hours. Were some really good fights, and I died to you guys a few times too trying to cap it. Thanks for the battles, was really fun. Dunno who owns Bay now but hope you guys keep it until reset.

Playing for fights and playing the PPT game is not the same thing.
Also SoR is “hiding its strength” and playing badly on purpose so we can recruit more guilds to compete with BG, as this is recognised as the most effective method for mass recruiting on SoR.

I’d like to thank everyone for their support, constructive criticism and understanding regarding the WARD and Aco move. While we all have different points of view, I think we can all agree that this is a game and we are playing it to have fun with our guild and our communities.
What we did was the best choice in this situation for our guild. I still have mad respect for Mance, Jed, Wok, Kada, Ben Sheets and on and on. You guys are great people and I’ll have a great time getting riled up and seeing you guys on the opposing side of the field.

Yeah, basically all TC needs is some SEA. That have decent EU and very strong NA. JQ hit 600 ppt against them during SEA time, so I believe it is pretty obvious what is holding them back.

Just like a few particular SoR guilds, they attract the numbers. I wouldn’t say 60 is a precise count, but sometimes it’s necessary against… certain opponents.
I dive into the T1 threads every once in a while, and I’m amazed that after 5 months straight you are still talking the same crap and having the same arguments.
I think we need to have the courts come in and declare you all married by common law.
I do have a legit question though, what’s going on with SoR? That was a pretty steep drop over the weekend.
We are all still here and playing. BG just didn’t realize the numbers advantage they always had. When they can get their fairweather players to show up, they have a massive WvW population in nearly all time zones. SoR has lost the participation of their smaller fairweather force in the process, thus the discrepancies in scores.
The die hard WvW players on SoR are loving this. 10 minute queue during NA prime is great. Give it a month or so and it will swing back the other way.
This is something that I can agree with. I have been noticing this my self, because SoR is known to pull out very large numbers when they feel like it. Just like Blackgate- pretty much every server has their share of fairweathers. Very legit statement and the last sentence has proved itself before.
I’ve been sick and haven’t had a chance to stay up to see this stacked BG Sea everyone is talking about until tonight. Pretty impressive recruiting and fairweather players. I have that much more respect to our Sea players for fighting that mess every night.
If anything it’s fairweather players, because we haven’t had any new SEA in weeks. Maybe you should start commanding for your server again.
What you’re seeing happen is the result of your SEA forming into 1 zerg. You like to think you have none, but I can easily post a screenshot of the map zerg that SAHP/SONG/GC form nearly on a daily basis. They are just stuck in one place that way.
So this is? we will be confronting a server who can que the 4 maps in a time when SOR have less than 100 people in wvw over the 4 BL? 25k gaps and is just Monday. What desire give me to start playing WvW starting my week when we already have a clear disadvantage like this?

SoR had a worse than usual ppt because of your raid, and it was only a T2 keep that we consider to be a bonus to ppt and not one of our key holdings. Nice to know FEAR is classy as ever.

A guild that talks about others being unclassy should look at people in their own guilds that are unclassy and deal with them before talking about other guilds being unclassy. It’s just extremely ironic.

That person was indeed from Blackgate, but I can assure you that if that ever happens, it is normally just on reset. During SEA, there is normally just 2 maps queued. Only MERC and ND can pull enough numbers to queue a map with PuG followers. WM and Thai can pull nice numbers on occasion

It was pvd because SAHP/SONG/GC/NYS didn’t form a map zerg today. Your SEA was basically non-existent, can’t really blame us. We were logged in and they weren’t… we’re not just gonna sit around and count sheep. :P
So this week, BG are going to be doing a Vizunah and get as much stuff T3, then sit in it with Arrow carts. Only a FEW will come out and fight. Sad times and is a shame.
That is what happens when you have no big EU presence and you’re trying to hold what you have until NA starts up. We also have a float team, so what you’re fighting against is scouts and roamers who are just letting us know what you’re doing.
