Looking at the score through mos, I’m very happy for HoD right now. Sadly, I’ve been lagging too much this last week and it came to a point of being unplayable. Specially in WvW. Called my internet provider and they told me I have a problem which might be solved only on Wednesday. So I hope to see you all soon.

Doesn’t matter what system you use. The only way to get balanced matches is to get the player base to spread evenly among all the servers. Make no mistake the player base is as much to blame as Anet. From the first week with HoD, JQ, and every stacked server since then. Even now servers which are showing FULL status are trying to shove players in sideways.

Anet deserves some blame. You shouldn’t be able to transfer to full servers at all or it should cost twice as much. Bottom tier servers should have free or at least drastically discounted. There should be rewards for fighting as the underdog. Right now everything from the scoring system to class design punishes you for trying to fight outnumbered.

However, its the players that have the final decision. There really isn’t anything anet can do short of forcibly moving people that will make things more competitive. No one forced the player base to stack on a few servers. Look at all the most recent guild transfer posts. Are we trying to funnel players to servers that need them? Nope it’s all JQ, BG, DB. Servers that have full populations.

Anet can alter the transfer system to funnel players to servers that actually need the population, but it is up to the players to actually spread out. No system you come up with will result in balanced matches because the player base as a whole does not seem to want balanced matches.

Sorry but I don´t believe that´s the only way. Low population against low population is fun in the sense of small scale fights. High population vs high population is also fun for high level strategy on the battlefield. They can coexist and both being fun.

Anet is attempting to do what you state here with the new system.

The issue is that there is no real starting point except the old glicko rank. Give this new system a few weeks to flesh out before we start long discussions on the matter. Basing arguments on a single data point is silly.

I know Anet is attempting to do make people happy. But this discussion is very important for WvW matches right now.

There are a few peculiarities of WvW that make it so a proper match-up system is critical, all related to the fact that a WvW match lasts a full week. The main issue that every week a sever is mismatched, it is not fun to do WvW with all players in 3 servers for a full 7 days. This is quite a lot if you ask me. For example, in NA this week, I can only see good matches in tiers 1, 4 and 6. That means 5 tiers are unbalanced and 15 servers are filled with unhappy players. Isn´t that a bit much? The previous system of pure glico had more balanced matches than this and more happy players.

Another reason to make this discussion important is that there are two ways to analyse the outcome of a match-up system, in practice or in theory. In practice is to observe what happens in a few weeks, as you mentioned. The second is to stop and think a little on theoretical aspects that we find important for a match-up system and check if a system satisfies those requirements. This is what I´m trying to do. The problem with the practical way is that it takes many matches to analyse the match-up system and those are more weeks leaving the players unhappy. So we have a week of bad match-ups now. Say we have another bad match-up next week. Then on the week after. When will we start discussing this? Hopefully sooner than later.

So I guess we need to discuss match-ups. The previous system did not work as tiers became stagnant. I can already see the problem in this one. Some servers are jumping two whole tiers up or down creating some extremely unbalanced matches. While I still think it just might be better than the previous use of glicko, these unbalanced matches are quite bad also. I would like to propose a different way to determine matches.

First we need to discuss the principles of good matches:

  • Balanced matches: are good and should be kept unchanged
  • Mobility: if a match is unbalanced, then servers should be able to change tiers faster
  • Stability point: it’s important to note that Anet talks a lot about tiers reaching stability. While this concept is good, sometimes guild movements or increased participation can break the current stability point. There should be means to break that stability when a change of forces occurs.
    So these basic and simple principles are what we should be aiming for.

Now, I’ll discuss three match-up systems and discuss what I see as their problems. The three match-up systems I’ll talk about are the previous system of using glicko (pure glicko), randomized around glicko (random glicko) and winner up loser down (WULD) which is also quite popular in these forums. Then I’ll talk about my proposal which uses glicko with extra means for mobility (mobility glicko).

Pure Glicko
Not much to say as this has been beaten to death. While it keeps balanced matches, it does not provide mobility. It also never reached a stability point as many matches were still quite unbalanced.

Random Glicko
While this system fixes the mobility issues in the pure glicko system. I don’t think it can achieve either keeping balanced matches or reaching a stability point. First, it has no means to keep balanced matches in place. I guess having a balanced match will be completely up to luck. Unless, of course, the deviation in the glicko formula goes to zero with time and the ratings distance themselves. I’d like to note that I don’t really think it will. I actually think the only way for the deviation to go down is if the ratings come closer together. And even if we do reach some stability point, there is nothing to break this stability in place if any server’s activity increases at some point.

WULD
This does have a few advantages on the mobility aspect and breaking stability than pure glicko. But the main problem of this system is that there is no way to keep balanced matches. No balanced match is played twice in a row. So at least 50% of the time, matches will probably not be balanced.

Mobility Glicko
This is the system I propose for match-ups. It’s based on the glicko score but it should provide mobility whenever any server is unbalanced in it’s tier. So we keep servers on their glicko rating like in the pure glicko but we can momentarily move a server to a different tier if it’s not balanced in that tier. To define this extra movement, I need to define when a server overpowers another. When server s1 and s2 play in a week, we say that s1 overpowers s2 if s2’s score is less than 80% of s1’s score, i.e., if score(s2) < 0.8 * score(s1).

The matches that need to be broken are the matches in which one server overpowers both other servers (much stronger) or the matches in which a server is overpowered by both other servers (much weaker). One way to increase mobility is to move up a server that is much stronger than the others or to move down a server that is much weaker than the others. Moving a server up means moving it to the higher tier dropping the server with the lowest glicko score in the tier it’s entering. This will break the glicko order just for one week. If in the next week its score went up enough for it to stay in the higher tier, then it stays. Otherwise, it will go back to wherever it should be based on it’s glicko score. We can define moving down similarly by taking the server with the highest glicko score in the tier below to move up.

Although this is an improvement over the WULD approach to keep balanced tiers in place once they get there, I would actually recommend a server moves up only if it’s much stronger or much weaker for two weeks in a row to avoid moving servers in an odd vacation week.

They treat the turret like pets from other classes. I only play engie so I don’t really know how the other classes worked in terms of pet cooldowns. Looking at the necro and the ranger on the wiki, it seems their cooldowns to resummon only start after they die. I think this is a mistake to treat the turret as one because the turrets effectiveness is completely negated by moving out of its range unlike pets who can move.

Turrets still have problems to become viable. But this problem with the healing turret is worst than with the other turrets. Average healing with a 35s cooldown is not viable by any measure in this game. And even if they fix the cooldown, it would still need a survivability boost to be viable. Their hitting box is still bugged as previously reported and still not fixed. They are also destroyed way too easily.

Granted I only play wvw, but the turret is the most amazing heal considering that it creates a water field that you can use blast for AOE heal up to 3 times. With no/little healing power at all you can get a 8k-10k hp heal almost instantly, that is pretty hard to beat. Plus you can use a blast on the cleansing blast for an additional aoe heal.

It’s true, it is a nice heal still. But the intended use, which is to be used as a turret, is not there.

Other than that, I would mention it still needs to have it’kitten box reduced significantly as it’s huge right now. It also needs to be much more survivable for it to be useful as a turret. Maybe turrets should recieve damage and have life proportional to siege weapons.

The condition is not removed by the necromacer healing skill “consume conditions” either.

I thought about Elixir C also. Didn´t know necros had the same problem. I posted this in the warrior section but thought that maybe other professions had this problem so I came back and posted it here.

It’s because their burn isn’t “burn”, it’s a different condition. Stacks intensity, not duration. So unlike every other condition, it has no counterpart that it would convert to. A mild oversight by ANet, I suppose.

It can still be removed with other measures though.

Correct. It’s designed to incentivize being either picked up or detonated .5 seconds after deployment.

Whether if it’s now ‘working as intended’ by developers, I don’t know if I think it is. I feel like it was intended to be a viable option if left deployed.

Only time will tell.

If I remember correctly, the developers stated the changes to the healing turret were to see if they would actually be used as a turret. But leaving it as a turret is probably the worst healing in the game because of this bug. I call it a bug as I don´t think this long cooldown was intended.

I´ve complained about this before but the post was long and not straight to the point. No changes were made by Anet. I´m hoping a cleaner post will help bring this to their attention. I do want to use the healing turret as a turret. It´s just not usable like this currently.

If the healing turret is destroyed, then whatever timer there was left on the Cleansing Burst overcharge is lost. The main problem is that if you deploy your turret and then overcharge and the turret is destroyed when the overcharge has 0,1 second left, then you have to wait 20 more seconds to use it again. This is the longest cooldown for a healing skill in the game (35 seconds).

This has to change and I see two solutions for it.

Solution 1: Make the healing turret indestructible.

Solution 2 (better solution): Make the cooldown for the healing turret start from moment you use it and have it restart it everytime the overcharge is used. So if you used your overcharge 13 seconds ago (2 seconds left to use again) and the turret is destroyed, then you´ll have to wait 7 seconds for your next heal instead of 20 seconds.

It´s unusable as a turret in this current state.

As a warrior, I cannot remove this condition by using a warhorn with the trait quick breathing. All my other condition removal skills work normally. Does anyone else know of another condition removal skills that works like the quick breathing trait? It changes the condition into a boon. Since this condition has a different name than the burning condition, it doesn´t work properly.

It does not remove the burning condition given by instigators in Southsun event. All my other condition removal skills work and quick breathing works by removing any other condition except for this one. Please fix this.

It should have good stuff inside, and be open for wvw fighting, but only realm with
highest tick has access…I think that would lead to some interesting dynamic in wvw

Wouldn’t that fill up with pve players only while the WvW players would continue on the battlefield?

That is definitely too high after the nerf.

From the wiki, the formula for retaliation is 198.45 + (0.075 * Power)

If it actually is nerfed by 50%, then it should deal 750 before the nerf. This is only achieved with someone having 7354 power, which I don’t think it’s even close to possible.

Funny thing is, I’ve seen those retaliation numbers also on myself.

sooo…. many.. HOD you where zerging ever Bls at the same time, while keeping up the numbers to block attacks on your own…. and out numbering our Ferg zerg in EB. Fun, but discouraging.

It will go down during the week. HoD’s first night is intense. During the weekend we’re still quite strong. When monday comes, our numbers have a big drop. I’m wondering who will win this week. I’m sure that, like last week, we’ll have at least one moment from each server in which it’s ahead.

I really don’t intend to rub salt in HoD wounds here, but I’m actually glad the situation is like it is now. There were so many hounds barking at our T8 threads and tbh SF even did not have such a jolly time when they first arrived. They got a good influx just before the free transfer timer ran out… GoM proved their worth but now they are gaining the upper hand in T7 so I imagine that they deserved winning T8 but it was certainly not a stomping or a walk in the park for them.

All those T8 threads (threats) are now unfounded and I’m glad FC and ET kept on fighting through all the tough times.

I am also glad. I’m also glad we’re not winning every week.

Fun story: When we were in T7 before the recent free transfers, there was a time we started to get more organized and started winning again. Not every week, but with a lot of effort, we could win. I was so addicted back then. I came home from work and would play WvW every day for long periods of time. I noticed my efforts were paying off. Everything I did was quite meaningful because the fights were so close.

Then the free transfers came and HoD got a lot of those. I would check WvW scores during the day and we were always winning. If I didn’t log on, my effort would not make such a big difference as we would still win. WvW was still fun, but it was much less fun than before. No one wants easy fights.

So now we drop to tier 8 and win 2 weeks in a row. There I was, missing the time I was battling for every last point I could get. But now with FC winning and ET doing so much better, I’m more motivated to log in every single day to get our points back. This is actually nice for me. Hope this becomes a great tier.

I’ll sign onto this. I sometimes end up retrying a skill 4 or 5 times just because I’m moving and the terrain isn’t flat where I’m aiming.

That is also another case that messes things up. That uneven terrain screws targeting for me also.

I’ve been one to say that feeling double teamed happens a lot in WvW. But yesterday night was way too weird for me. I felt there was something quite odd.

EDIT2: There were also many times there was no activity in BLs except for camps and still nothing changed colors in EB. Only from and to green.

Last night? I wasn’t on for long, but it was all about fergies where I ended up:

- We had our keep in EB flipped by fergs (waypoint! nooo)
- Ferg zerg swarmed over our BL and tried to take garrison
- Back in EB, we tried to assault durios, bravost and quentin, and got pushed back
- My baby lvl 17 ele got rolled by a ferg 5-6 man trying to take Ogrewatch lmao. They got in, but reinforcements drove them out before they could cap

As the replies suggest the battles were happening elsewhere, I guess I got the wrong impression. The fights were amazing anyways. Hope double teams do not happen, and if it was not happening, I’m sorry for the doubts.

Being an engineer and using rifle/grenades, I have some issues when I want to target something close to max range. If I move my mouse just a bit further, then I will get a message stating that the position I targeted was beyond my max range and the skill is not used at all. While this is not so bad for the grenades, since they have long range, the same is not true for my rifle 5 skill. Since the range is quite short, many times I cannot use the skill because I could not target it properly. The main problem is that in WvW, I have to make my decisions quickly and these misclicks become more common.

My suggestion would be for an option in which, if you use a targeted area of effect skill and you click beyond the max range, then the skill will be used on max range instead. Even better would be if your mouse could go farther than your max range when targeting but the area circle would get stuck on max range (in the same direction as my mouse is pointing) so I could target properly. This would help out engineers and maybe some other professions too.

Hope I made myself clear on my issue. Also hope this could be implemented.

It’s not a conspiracy, after last night it was clear FC and ET were not attacking one another.

Not true, I was on last night (GMT +2) and we made a serious push on ET keep twice and lost.
In between all the madness we just did our best to ensure that HoD don’t get their foot in the door. I was not online when HoD keep was conquered but I know that ET fought tooth and nail to hang on to theirs and as a result could hang on to the surrounding towers much easier.
While most of our attention was holding on to property in EB, ET paid a visit to our BL while HoD BL remained rather unscathed by both ET and FC. So nononono, no conspiracy – just perception at the wrong times of observation. In fact, we we’re just talking last night about the ET/FC alliance that lasted about 30 seconds when SF was keeping all the maps a single uniform green colour.

I certainly need to give a reason for this. I spent the entire day looking at the score from work and thinking HoD had given up. When I come online, we had low numbers, that was true. So I joined HoD BL until we captured all of it. Then I move to EB and the numbers are quite big there. HOD had 2 big zergs running around to attack at 2 locations at the same time since the defense was quite strong.

So HoD kept a huge zerg for hours attacking and defending. And we were met with one or two big zergs from FC. Note that the whole time, we were attacking FC only. Their numbers were very very high and they would never leave. Nothing really wrong with that. The weird part was looking at the remainder of the map and not seeing anything change colors at all. Even though we had such huge numbers and kept a huge number of FC busy, it didn’t seem ET made any attempt at taking anything from FC for a few hours?

Thanks everyone who came out it was a lot of fun. Let me know if there is anything I could do improve it next time.

Carry a shield in your inventory. When you want to enter a tower that’s being sieged, switch the longbow for a shield offhand so you have sword+warhorn and sword+shield. That should make it easier for you to come back to the tower.

You also kept calling towers as keeps. Try to use the correct wording for people that are learning to follow your example.

Other than that, I thought it was an amazing video. Liked it very much! Thank you!

Give Bomb Kit skills the ability to Detonate.

Mine kit used to work with detonation according to wiki, apparently was so OP that it was turned into one skill. Maybe return the mine kit with a bit more diversity? http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mine_Kit

Would like to see something done to make the bomb kit a bit more accessible though. Melee classes can immediatly hit something close after pressing a button, but engineers have to anticipate a delay before his bombs explode.

That is the main problem I have with the bomb kit. I think the best way you could buff the bomb kit for me to use it on targets that are running away (in thich the bomb kit becomes useless) would be at least for the auto-attack skill to work similar to Timed Charge where it would stick to the target and blow up after its delay. Make it a melee atack in which you plant a bomb on the target, and not plant a bomb on the ground. I guess the other skills could be like they are right now since they would still work as area control.

1) I do not have the time right now to compare all of the healing skills in the game. But if you ask me hard enough, one day, I just might. However, I can tell you this: All professions are not created equal. So, erase the concept of “fairness” from your mind in terms of balance. It’s not about fairness, it’s about effectiveness. Not many healing skills can grant you 7K HP, Fury, Swiftness, and Cleanse a Condition without Healing Power. Nor can they Heal you for 5k, your team for 2.5k, and then remove 2 conditions from up to 5 people in range, while providing a Water Field for additional Combo Finisher abuse. They just don’t. If all you want is simple healing, Elixir H is your best bet. If you want Condition Cleansing attached, then you’re going to have to either trait or use something with a bit more effort (i.e. The other two Healing Skills) That’s the give and take of being an Engineer.

If it’s your only option, why would you need to press 3 buttons to do your normal heal? Sure you get used to it, but isn’t it even a bit weird?

1) I do not have the time right now to compare all of the healing skills in the game. But if you ask me hard enough, one day, I just might. However, I can tell you this: All professions are not created equal. So, erase the concept of “fairness” from your mind in terms of balance. It’s not about fairness, it’s about effectiveness. Not many healing skills can grant you 7K HP, Fury, Swiftness, and Cleanse a Condition without Healing Power. 2) With 20p in Tools, you can throw the contents of the Med Kit. I’ve never used it myself because it felt like extra work, but there was someone who said that it was perfect for their build because they can Throw Antidote right where they stood and cleanse immobilize.

3)Hey, I made that chart! But no, it doesn’t take that into account. It’s really just raw data without any assumptions on your situation. Immobilize can kill the timing of your full heal of Med Kit, Boon Removal can cripple the benefits that HT and Elixir H give you. But the chart can’t predict your future. That’s up to you and your opponents.

4)You don’t have to. You can go Elixir H and have everything simple.

5) Don’t neglect the fact that the untraited Elixir H in question is granting you regeneration every single time, and that only wins by 50. If it becomes Swiftness or Protection even once, you aren’t healing as much. But you’re right, those are perfect, ideal conditions that aren’t necessarily feasible. Leaving out the Healing Turret assumes that it stays out and doesn’t die for a full 60s.

6)AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHA.. ha.. ahem. Yes, that’s absolutely unfortunate. And that’s the same reason why everyone believes that picking up your kit immediately after overcharge is better than leaving it out. It’s less susceptible to damage while also being a stronger heal for you in the long run. Also, you left out the 0.5s cast time that it takes to drop the turret, so it’s really 35.5s

7)Who knows? You would have to play them and see.

8)The options we have are pretty good and fit a variety of playstyles. What we really need is a buff to turret armor and HP. Especially the Healing Turret which has the least amount of health of them all.

Thanks for the reply and you’re right that Med Kit has many advantages. I just came back to using it instead of the healing turret. I could have posted just the problem with the Healing Turret itself, but I ended up posting about other complaints I have. The Med Kit one is something that does bother me in combat, but it does bring a lot to the table. Maybe I should have just written about the Healing Turret since it’s the main focus of this thread.

About the Healing Turret, Anet stated that they wanted for it to stay out and for it to be used as a turret, and not for it to be blown up right after you use it. The main topic of this thread (which is what I put into the TL;DR) is the Healing Turret viability to be used as a turret and to stay out. It’s just not viable at all. Actually, even if it had much more armor and much more health, the moment it’s destroyed, it can greatly increase the cooldown between your heals. 35.5s is just too much. Seems broken to me.

I would have to agree. Viable builds {In WvW} Consist of a version of HGH or a version of SD, and they seem to be aiming at HGH for now atleast.

On Healing and why Healing Turret is bugged

Since this is a long post explaining my opinion on Engineer healing together with how I found the healing turret bug, I’ll put the TL;DR here on top.

TL;DR: As long as the healing turret is able to die in any way, shape or form, don’t ever use the healing turret as a turret. Press 3 buttons to drop, overcharge and pick up or detonate. This is also quite unfair as no profession needs to press 3 buttons to get a heal.

My story including how I found this bug goes here:

Up until now, I have been using the Med Kit instead of the Healing Turret. Two main problems bugged me by using the Med Kit. The first one is that I cannot remove immobilize from myself since Drop Antidote is not consumed until I can walk into it, which I cannot do while immobilized. The second problem is that it takes way too long for me to do a full heal with the Med Kit. I have to use Bandage Self and then 3 uses of Drop Bandages which takes me away from combat for far too long. Sure it heals really well if it’s all you do as shown here, but that does not take into account the amount of time you are out of combat.

So I wanted a change and had to decide between Elixir H or Healing Turret. Since I was not going to trait for Cleaning Formula 409 and I would have no option to remove conditions, I decided to try out Healing Turret. So I read the changes Anet has done to it and how they mentioned the changes should make it be more compeling to keep it out instead destroying it or picking it back up right away. So I start using it this way and I noticed I started dying a lot more in WvW. I never had my heal available I started to think I was playing really bad. I even thought that I was just not used to the new timing for the turret.

So at this point I start to watch some people playing with the Healing Turrent and they always blow it up right away. I started doing so and I started to do much better. The main problem is that I’m back to the very cumbersome heal of dropping the turret, overcharging it and then either picking it up or detonating it. Why should I press 3 buttons every time I need to heal (and lose time doing so) when no other profession in the game has to do this?

So I found the reason why you should never, Ever, EVER leave the Turret out.

Even if we disconsider that leaving the healing turret out is the worst heal the engineer could do as reported here, this chart considers ideal conditions which are really hard to obtain. First of all, we know that turrets die way too easy because of their lack of armor and hitpoints. We also know that the hitbox is bugged, which makes it even more likely for it to be destroyed as reported here. Now for the icing in the cake. Consider the following situation. You drop your healing turret and overcharge. Now you have a 15 second delay to be able to overcharge again. Now say that the healing turret dies exactly 14.99 seconds after you used overcharge (I noticed because I was looking at it waiting to use the overcharge again and it happened to me). So now, after the 15 second wait to use your healing skill, the healing turret cooldown is reset and you’ll have to wait 20 extra seconds to use it again. This made the total cooldown on using your lackluster healing to 35 seconds total (14.99 seconds waiting for the overcharge cooldown + 20 seconds of the healint turret cooldown).

So there you have it. Don’t ever leave the healing turret out. If it gets destroyed (which you know it will), then every second you left it out is a longer cooldown you will have to wait.

So don’t ever leave it out. You are only crippling yourself. Now you only have two options to use it. You drop, overcharge and either pick it back up or you detonate it. If you don’t you are only increasing the cooldown in your healing. So again, just like the Med Kit, a single use of a heal with the healing turret must be accomplished with 3 button presses and not being able to move freely if you decide to pick it up. Does any other profession in the game have this problem with healing skills?

Please fix this Anet. We need better healing options…

I don’t think more button presses for the engineer should be appropriate. We already are the profession that needs to press the most buttons to do a simple heal, if we are using the healing turret for example (3 buttons total).

Maybe another idea would be to not have it explode right away. Instead of exploding, it would be set and it will explode when the first target comes in reach. It would also explode after 3-5 seconds if no one entered the area of effect so the engineer would not stack them for a one hit kill. I guess this could work for all bombs, including the Big Ol’Bomb. This change could give some life back to the bomb kit since it’s a bit lackluster in WvW right now.

When I logged into WvW, I couldn’t go to EB because it was queued so I started in HoD BL with my Warrior just to do map completion. You guys had big zergs there and were leading the score. When I finished map completion, changed into my engineer. When I came back, both EB and HoD BL were queued (first time I see that happen), so I checked the score and went for your BL.

Later I checked the score and map and saw that same picture. Even felt bad about it. Sorry for the frustration, but it happens to all of us sometimes.

For the people talking about glass, I guess they have not seen my engineer running around. It was fun running half the map to one of our towers to defend against big zergs. Happened a few times.

I saw your engineer with the flamethrower Nice build you got there.

That’s not me. I run rifle, bombs, tool kit and elixir s running a very tanky build. If you find an engineer that’s really hard to kill bombing around from [CATZ], that might be me.

Too bad I have too much work to do recently and haven’t found enough time to go online. Last time I was online, I was desperately trying to defend a tower in EB by myself against a group of 6-8 FC. Couldn’t do anything at all… But someone from FC added me on party just to say “Turtle much?”. I guess that’s a statement that I’m tanky.

Whether you want it or not, Mesmers are OP and they should be nerfed. I run confusions myself as an engineer and I’ll also be hit, but I know it’s necessary. It sucks, but it has to be done. Get over it.

Although I don’t find a reset to be a good solution, something has to be done as this current system simply does not work.

I’d also like to say that the servers are not where they should be and the current scoring system takes ages to balance itself.

I am currently waiting out of WvW to see if SF goes up faster but it just takes too long.

being on hod, i can confirm that you are deliberately being double teamed. my hubby has a stash of screenies of various commanders telling people to stop attacking gom because we are apparently working together.

The ONLY way for HoD and GoM to reclaim their merit is to name and shame those commanders which did this.

And GoM please consider the following. you team up with the winning server, higher pop server, which is already on its way to t6… leaving you behind in t7…with us… and i can promise you. It will not be fun for you.

I agree, either post it or it didn’t happen. Quite easy to make up stories like this.

Anyway, I also don’t think it’s a problem to double team a server in the lead. Even if it’s set up. If two teams are losing and another one is winning, then it makes perfect sense. Just look at tier 8. ET and FC should double team on SF. Although I don’t think it’s a shame for this situation, I think it’s not needed at all in T7 after the transfers HoD got.

Currently, if anyone asked me not to attack GoM for an alliance, I would go out of my way to break that and I would keep attacking GoM. It makes no sense for me and I would not agree to it.

But anyway, pics or didn’t happen. So nothing changes.

On a side note, after the reset NSP had a great defense in our BL holding DB for a long time. At some point, I decided to focus only in capping arah and greenvale to cut their supply. I would not let any dolyaks through. Once, a very interesting situation happened. I had just taken greenvale by myself and was about to leave to get a dolyak that had left for DB. When I get outside, there is a GoM thief. Since my main interest is to kill the yak, I see if I can kill the yak while taking his damage. When I notice, he is also attacking the yak. After we kill him, I’m happy he was not trouble so I just wave to him and he leaves. So I also did some double teaming with GoM.
