Glass cannon with 0 armor against glass cannon that only has his burst and nothing else.. I would think less of the game if he did not 1shot you
Also.. Congratz for speccing into health instead of either toughness or dmg for yourself.. See that worked out fine
Ps.. I run ele staff but they will have to kill me if i ever use the standard tankbuild hey run now. Nothing worse then people copying specs

This has already been suggesed many times, but we havent heard Anet about this yet.

Remove blue and red… You can make a smaller difference between teams, but other suggestions already made it clear that even if everyone wore the same gear with the same dyes.. It would not affect the performance. So please in the name of god.. Make the spvp autodyeing an option instead of making it even harder to feel the difference between rank 1 and rank 100

Superior Sigil of Battle is no longer granting 3 stacks of might on attunment swap. Using a D/D build and it doesn’t matter if the sigil on in my main hand or my off hand. I am also aware of the ICD on sigils and have confirmed it to not grant any might at all.
Yust want to add some information.. this indeed doesnt always work well when using daggers, focus or scepter combinations. With staff however this always tends to work fine

I run staff ele, i kill thiefs.. /shrug .. they are harder then most classes but if you know how to dodge perfectly, make sure you have at least 2 cantrips ready and know where to place your CC… its quite easy and yust a matter of time before the Thief dies.

Since paid tournaments don’t differ that much from free tournaments… why would it be too early?
Also as already said: the balance is pretty ok. Not perfect, but good enough to be enjoyable.

Meh, the above statement (the one about adjusting professiona) is something i hope they will change… Maybe i can live with teams switching professions between maps.. Maybe. (in my opinion you pick a eam and your stuck with it… No changing because some things work better on some maps then on other)..
Something that goes to far though is switching while in the games already.. Ow they dont have ant condition dmg, lets change to our bunker team. Ow, they have hose professions, lets counter them wih this..
Its ridicilous in my opinion… Why not yust give us a button which changes us to the profession most usefull at that time.
I say dont let people switch after they made the roster.. Make them pick characters which hey feel will do good in all maps instead of basing some tactics as bunkering, mesmer portals etc. On certain maps.

Nope, Thief is quite easy if you know when to avoid the burst.. combine that with alot of dodging, place down areas and keeping him slowed with the earth and water spells.. its quite easy.

God.. everytime i have people ask me about a certain build they run. If we come to the conclusion that i cant figure out what he should improve except his pvp skills .. 60% of the time they say something that gets them on my blocked list..

Meh, in my opinion this is yust subjective opinion. I play 2 character in pvp, elementalist and mesmer.. and after a couple of tournaments etc. after the patch i can say phantasm/illusion mesmer not only still is more then viable, but because of it we now also see a couple more mesmers more relying on their own dmg and survivability.
I think the nerf was a good thing, it made people adjust, creating more viable builds while still maintaining the viability of the illusion/phantasm mesmer.
and thats not the ele-part speaking.. since as staff ele i never had trouble taking out phantasms and illusions anyway :P

arcane wave 1355 dmg
arcane blast 1359 dmg
well… clearly something is wrong since the description says 1100 for arcane blast and 1700 for arcane wave… meaning you should see a nice difference between them… no difference to see here.. so i think the numbers in the coding (coding, not description) are yust not as they should be

I only stick with elementalist because that character is the guild master and i do a lot of WvW. I hear a lot of comments like “i chew through mobs now” and “this is so much easier” and i know they arent coming back to their ele’s unless major changes are made.

Good players have logical sense and know when something is broken or unbalance, that its yust time to look at the numbers, look up the facts and present them to the devs or yust find an counter for it.
Bad players rage why noone has been nerfed yet even though even the developers dont have all the facts yet and its mostly based on people not able to look further then their own character.

Tbh, in my opinion capture the points is not an great esport choice anyway. I think things like team deathmatch or perhaps even capture the flag (given the fact that you would lose the flag if you used things like portal/teleport and such.). But capture the bases yust gives an edge to certain proffesions in my opinion.

Well… The thing is you can never say an profession is underpowered. Cause according to gw2, any proff can be any role. For example
Offensive guardians should be buffed, normal dfensivebased guardians are quite nice, guardians 100% made to survive anything and to troll people in an 5 man guardian team with 100% winratio due to pointholding should be smashed into the ground..Can you imagine esports if any team with 5 guardians yust wins anyway…
(dont say you have an counter.. Cause if you can counter it as it is atm its due to the guardians being inexperienced)

How i wish it was: bunker = balanced = burst
How it is: good bunker = undefeatable even with 3 burst = win because of pointholder even though noone died in the whole match..
And if you dont agree with that you have never fought 5 guardians which all were 100% specced in defense and healing which cant be 1v3d because they can stand still and take all hits while suviving

i think its a must… sadly it does require some training since whenever you move the screen using ur mouse buttons, your mouse disappears, thus its hard to see where exactly the area lands. At the other hand without it, it would require aiming and certainly an double click instead of yust 1..
i do think they need to change how the mouse disappears when turning though..

Quite some proffesions have nice bugs in their skills and traits. For easier balancing it would be better to make sure everything works as it should be before changing anything, cause some characters strenghts/weaknesses can lie in bugged traits or spells
Dont forget to bring some good boots though cause squashing bugs can be a nasty job

I have seen greatsword work out quite well with an power build, 1 thing you do need to watch is know when to switch back to your bow.. cause i have seen some rangers who were so stuck to their sword that they could be kited around since they were to reluctant to switch
atm longbow still looks cooler to me, but that could be the whole Legolas/Sniper feel that gets me :P

Guardians can tank better, the healing is not to write to home about and you do lose a nice amount of dmg….
I think they will watch this spec yust to keep it the same but slightly buff the other elementalist roles. Cause if they would nerf such an build it would probably make sure noone will try to become either tank/healer or support anymore
