I’ve gotten blocked for excessive messaging, when I hadn’t said anything in any chat for hours. It seems very arbitrary.
NO, I don’t think there is a need to raise the level cap.
O, that is fab! I’d never noticed that gear before….many thanks!
I miss having this “essential” imo emotes. Sure wish they would impliment them.
I would like a way to order my dyes by same color threads. All the colors, say like browns, together by color value. That way I can see the distinction in hue values. Being scattered all over the place makes it harder to see how they are different. You can keep the rarity groups, but have them ordered by color groups and hues.
I don’t mind the pets evolving, but I definately want to keep all mine small, the smaller the better, so they don’t interfer with sight lines.
I’m deeply disappointed that healing and rezzes don’t count; in the Manifesto one is lead to believe that it was equal to dealing damage and you would be equally rewarded. Surely Areanet could find a way to put this in their formula, because it is easy to just let other players die and stay dead so you get more damage dealt for the loot table; not that my personal ethics would let me.
Please get rid of this feature. I’d like to be able to tell is help is fighting it’s way to me to decide to wait or to release. Plus it just makes me a bit ill.
I’ve been asking for this feature since Beta. I would dearly LOVE to have it.
Cool clothes that could be worn in combat, at least in PvE.
I was running around Divinity Reach and looking at all the houses and building that no one can enter and thought, what a waste. All of these structures would be great for having instanced homes for players. Why don’t you make use of these wonderful structures and let players pick out a home? Unfortunately, DR seems to be the only city other than LA that seems to lend itself to use as player homes and guild halls.
I think this is a wonderful idea; I’ve love to see various fruit and nut tress that were harvestable. Right now, as far as I know, they only ones in game are apples in Queensdale.
I liked the old dailies better because I would just do my usual playing at level zones and if I had any objective not finished when I was winding down for the night, I’d hit a starting zone and finish up. Now, I just do a starting zone till I finish up the dailies. I particulately hate the dogding and I’m guilty of letting NPCs die to rez them. Very counter to the way I had been playing before the change.
I misspoke when I said the roses could not be used outside of cities, they can as long as you are in town clothes. I wish ArenaNet would scrap town clothes altogether and just make armor skins and items like the roses that you could use anytime.
When I clicked on them from the Trading Post it showed the paperdoll in town clothes, so I’m assuming that means you can only use them in towns. It also says the bouquet goes into your “toy” slot, but the write up on the icon says in “main hand”.
Yes, my Assura has a headband, and one of my humans has the ribbions, and I would dearly love to be able to make them match their outfits. I like changing up my colors by seasons and holidays, so I do a lot of dyeing and having the jarring, non-matching color value on my hair accessories is disconcerting.
It would have been lovely to have had any of the 3 seasonal events celebrated this week: Mardi Gras, Lunar New Year, or Valentine’s Day. I miss not having at least one of them in game….think of the costume possibilities.
I was hoping there would be an event; at least special clothing, gem items, etc. Surely they won’t let this holiday pass without giving us gem items.
I’m sure most of time it’s people who think they are helping you out. All you need to do is let them know you are doing your dodges. Yeah, doing dodges as ranger with pet is a headache, so I just look for veterns because if they beat your pet down then they will go after you.
Pretty much says it all. I’m logging out and the character selection freezes and I have to shut down my computer and reboot in safe mode. This has been happening for about a week now. A lot of times I have RaidCall overlay up; but that doesn’t seem to make any difference. Once or twice this has happened when I’ve minimized GW2 window and when I come back it freezes.
I would love having my ground target go off where I have a mob targeted already. It is unweildly to have re-set targets when you use it.
You can meld gear. Just because the look my come from a lower level doesn’t mean the stats are.
I’d like it if the heart giver and scouts had the option to tell you their stories even if you’ve filled the requirements. Many times I’ve completed the requirements before I reach their locations, and then I’m out of luck for any explanations.
I don’t agree with you. Housing has proved to provide higher retention as a feature.
I thought we were suppose to have a choice of 4 out of 6 to do; but I find I HAVE to do 5. This is more than before the change. Dodges/combos ? I think you ought to revert.
Agree, I hope they take out the WvW requirement as it’s definately not PvE.
It would be such a brilliant idea if ArenaNet would design an /afk that would actually show AFK over you head so people would know. Every MMO I’ve ever played had this feature; it just seems strange for GW2 not to have it.
Wish they had a Broker system like EQ2.
Definately have to agree about the female human sitting.
I put on PvE that I do all 3 equally, but I’ve only done 3 dungeons and so really I only wanted to answer that I did exploration and open world equally.
As far as PvP I skipped it; though on rare occasions I try WvW, but that’s about it.
I like having all my pets small so I don’t have them blocking my views and getting in the way.

I like the idea in general and would like to see something hanging off your belt…maybe even have up to 3 trophys hanging.
Yes, and I was disappointed they didn’t show up after exploring, even shifting the level of your views. Definately would like this implemented.
Because they want you to spend gems to get bank access outside the cities.
Actually player housing improves retention. It’s guild houses with too many amenties that made cities seem empty. As long as people need to visit amenties that the city offers you’ll be in good shape. Right now in GW2 there is very little incintive to visit the cities…everyone seems to end up in Lion’s Arch.
Your dailys are account based, so the part the lowbies can’t do have your higher toons do it, once completed switch to your alts and finish the rest. The toon that finishes is the one who is rewarded.
They’d get my gem purchases if there was a closet system and if you could transmute the “city” clothes to your armor….to have the look of city with the stats of armor.
Sometimes I can’t even tell IF I’m even rezzing and having one place to look would be such a big help, especially when there is so much going on around you.
One thing I’ve been trying to remember to suggest because it drives me crazy during gaming is that there is no one spot for the rez bar on screen when you are rezzing a player or NPC. This is especially hard when there is a lot of action and spells going off like a “white rabbit”. I have to search all over the middle of the screen to try to find if I’m rezzing. Could you please make one spot on the screen that I can park and lock so I will know if I am rezzing someone or not.
I think with the attention they are paying to change waypoint usage in dungeons, in addition to not getting credit for rezzing/healing verses damage in events that rezzing needs to be sped up so you are not punished for doing the noble thing by rezzing fallen comrades.
I miss not having this feature in game and would love to see it implemented.
If you bring up your hero window on the top you will see 2 grey icon outlines; click the one on the far right and it will show your personality profile.
If I could transmute town clothes on my armor, I would be much more interested in purchasing “looks” from the gem store. Until that times comes I see no point in having them.
It would be a boon to have more armor styles to choose from. Most sets, especially the racial/dungeon/exotics leave me cold, especially on the female toons. I actually prefer the lower level styles over the end games ones so far.

I could only find Part 1 and couldn’t find part 2. Don’t know why they make finding infor for GW2 so hard and spread all over the internet. You would think they would make better use of their own home page and launch screen.
I really hate to hear that AoEs will be nerfed. It doesn’t seemed over powered for what you are expected to kill for mobs. As mentioned in previous posts, mobs seem to be very numerous and come in groups, and using AoEs seem to take as long to kill the mobs as one on one seems to take.
If ArenaNet doesn’t change their mind, it will be interesting to see what effect the changes make.
I really like dwarves and I’d like to have that race in the game, but if we are not able to have them then I would go with Skritt.
For a new class, my vote would be for a martial arts profession.
I was interested in the Titles that show…I would be so happy if we could display our names/guild/titles over our heads. It would be so much fun to be able to pick what titles you wanted to display also.
I want /hug with animation.
