Not just the underwear but the hair items, too.
In my personal story I am introduced to a living dwarf; so there are still some alive. I would love to play one; in fact, if they would also introduce a new profession, I’d buy another character slot.
I was very dismayed to find out that once Tixx hit Lion’s Arch, that I no longer got a choice of stuffing or glue. I thought he was suppose to give you opportunties to recieve this items you missed. Very disappointed that the only way to get 250 stuffing is thru the Trading Post. Even your vendor does not have an exchange rate for those items with socks/hats/sweaters. This needs to be more customer friendly for a holiday event.
Hmmm my defination of winning in GW2 is making it to 80 the slow way. I’ve taken my time, and my main only made 80 a week ago. I have enjoyed the game so much because I’ve explored and found all kinds of surprises and nooks and crannies. Some great dialog if you listen to some of the NPCs around you. Enjoying the journey is the real win in the game. Since my main made 80, I’ve started on another toon, and doing different areas enhances the experience with new personal stories and areas. I think those who rush to 80 are missing a wonder gaming experience. “Savoy the moment”
The one that drives me crazy is when in the Norm city Trading Post and you have to listen to that drunk female saying “come here and gimme a kiss” etc. I really liked in EQ2 you had the option to hear NPC callouts just once in an area.
Custom chat channels are the way to go and many games support them. I would much rather have those.
You would think that any who contributed to the success would share in it.
Clipping issues in Preview?!! It’s preview…I can’t believe there was enough complaints to make such a drastic change. Please bring it back, it was one of the best features in the game.
Titles are pretty much worthless in this game. I can’t see my own name, let alone display any titles I’ve earned, so what’s the point?
Really wish we could see our own names and what guild we are representing, let alone being able to pick a title we’ve earned to display.
If we could wear the costume items as appearence items while fighting you might have a sale on your hands, but as long as it’s town clothes only, I’m not buying.
Totally agree with this post. I’ve tried World a few times, and it’s just not my cup of tea. Making World part of the completion is non-sensical because it’s not PvE.
The title pretty much says it. I would like a link to Patch Notes and Updates on the Launch Pad so I can see what changes have been made before I enter the game. I like to be an informed player if possible, and to make getting to info quick and efficient.
OMG!! I LOVED the way the preview feature was before you changed it. Being able to see what items looked like that you might want for alts was one of the BEST features this game had. Please change it back, and also make this available thru the Trading Post.
I thought that the waypoint prices were based on how distant the waypoints were, and was very dismayed to find that the prices went up with your levels. If waypoints were based strickly on distance, it wouldn’t be so bad. I also think that teleporting back to your home city should be free.
I find the amount of “immunity” in water mobs to be frustrating.
I would appreciate an option that EQ2 has in it’s settings, was to hear NPC calls outs only once.
I, too, keep feeling like I’m stuck reviving. Moving away seems to be the only thing that works, but intutively I would l think clicking another target and pushing a button would do the trick, but it doesn’t.
I bet he really meant buy gold.
Thanks, CapN Biku, I’ll look for those.
I would like to be able to send /feedback in game in which I can say if I like or not something that is going on and also make suggestions on the spot. Many times I have what I think is a good idea and would be great to just submit it.
Also there are things in game that I come across and want to express appreciation. “I really like how animals are animated; they behave so realisticly.”
Just want to be able to do this in game, on the spot.
Good point. I haven’t been able to find or discover or come across a lens that covers one eye like my starter engineer armor for my female asura…lots of masks and scarves, but goggles none of any sort.
Don’t need level cap increased, that’s why you have alts.
As one who will go out of my way to rez, and waits to be rezzed as long as I deem reasonable; I would love this option in the game. One reason is there is no way to tell how many people are in the region you are playing in, or where anyone is located to see if a rez could be possible. There could be a 100 people near me or no one in the zone at all. Please make this possible.
I guess you could say this is one of the biggest Dislikes I have about GW2, is defeated camera. Please just disable it, and let us have normal views. People hate being dead as it is without this annoyance.
I agree that the respawn rate in the game in general could be slowed down a bit to give the players a little breathing room.
It would make the map so much nicer to use to have the functionality.
As a Norm, I have real problems in tight spaces not being able to go into first person view. I support this suggestion.
I, too, have been experiencing this problem for past few days. It’s madening. It seems to happen in blocks of time for about half an hour and then stablizes for few hours. Last night I got a white screen after selecting to play from the character screen and the only way I could get out was to turn the computer off, come back in safe mode; restart and when I got back into game experienced DC issues for about 10 minutes, then it stablized.
I learned about the Sylvari glow in Beta, but I don’t know what the Assura eyes are.
I agree with this listed improvements and add some improvements I would like to see:
- Being able to see my Name and Guild over my head as an option
- /afk working and shows up by name/guild that I am AFK for myself and others to see (think of those complaining of rezzing AFK toons)
I use FB but none of the other sites like Twitter or Reddit, and it really grieves me that the Official GW2 website does not post its important information there. I want to be able to go the “official” site and get ALL the news about the game. Sure wish they would use their website to greater advantage and use all the other social websites as “out reach”.
In Divinity’s Reach in the home district, there is a house that is also a Point of Interest. I take it, this is probably considered my home. It’s lovely, but I have a few problems with it. First of all there is a bed which you cannot lie upon and chairs which you cannot sit. As far as I know there is no way to interact with the structure or have it change or update according to your accomplishments in the game. This is disappointing.
As far as other main cities with other races, everything seems communial and there is no place that is “home” to reflect your toon as an individual that is a space to call as your own.
I sure hope there are plans to give our characters houses that we can personalize.
I thought rezzing was suppose to give the same experience as killing especially in a DE. I haven’t been paying attention, but I am disappointed that it doesn’t have equal weight in figuring contribution.
I would like there to be karma/experienc given for each rez regardless of player character or NPC; even if it were only one per rez.
I would still rez anyway, that’s just the kind of person I am, but I think a small reward or equal weight in events should be in the game mechanics.
i see the top about avg. thought id give ya some info

I’m not very computer savvy, and I find the posted instructions very intemidating. What baffles me is that on the first beta I had no problems; but after that I had to disable AVG to use GW2. So something happened between BWE1 and BWE2.
