I wanted that achievement. I couldn’t get it because we were getting camped. So I got my guildy group and spread the word throughout the server that we would be taking back Sanctum? And guess what? After 30 minutes of hard fighting, we did.

That’s a hard fought achievement.

I missed my chance when my server held 90% of eb, so now with all the campers there it felt really hopeless for me but oh well i won’t give up that easily too!

Hello,
played a pally healer / tank so I’m used to having some sort of oh kitten button or some kind of heals. Any ideas what we can do to be able to survive dungeons?

I soloed the whole ac story with my 80 guardian having only slight difficulty with mesmer duo, thus i can say that if you seek ‘’something that can survive dungeons’’ and pally like – roll a guardian =3

I dont play wvw, if i do than rarely but somehow i managed to get about 150 in like 9months i played the game, but now that these chests came out with the pretty ridicilous amount of badges i think this part becomes a joke for anyone willing to go for legendary since they literally flood invetory now. 500 for non wvw player becomes cakewalk from the hell like road it was before.

I’ve leveled my thief to 60lvl just by doing ac storys and some expl after he hit 30lvl whenever i felt like doing them. Must say tho that half of these runs i used my guardian and switched to him at the very end for exp bonuss. Took about month or more because i wasn’t taking them as chores and did them pretty occasionally but yeah its possible if you’re not in a big rush

Lag, lag that’s what it is. Not everyone got a chance to play with decent enough pc that would actually give us a chance to fight in massive fights, not just watch a slideshow of how we are miserably killed with close to no option for resistence.

Been playing this setup since i leveld my guardian to 80 months ago and i agree it is God-mode-like build. Now i play with 0/0/30/30/10 cuz of newly changed mace trait and access for AH tho.

The way I want to play my thief is full zerker, shadowstep in and go down immediately, dish out tons of damage thanks to + 50% damage while downed and then die a hero.

Your armour repairing bills doesn’t aprove this >:3

CoE all paths are 4warrior/mesmer friendly and much much more easliy and faster done with that setup and i see people do them quite a lot too.

As a guardian i really enjoyed this. 0/0/30/30/10 with mace+shield/hammer, over 1k healing power and pure voice, i made last boss fight laughable all the runs, both tanking her(making sure she focus on me), healing whole party, and constantly saving people lifes if they had troubles . No healers in this game? I disagree

It’s not really a ‘major’ fail but by god does it happen a lot. AC when trying to stack the Spider Queen and someone mucks up causing her to drop poison, I hightail it outta there and purge that ungodly poison as soon as I’m clear, usually healing straight after. Only to turn around and find the rest of my team defeated. Are you guys serious? Did the enormous red rings, green clouds and the insane amount of damage you started taking not ring any bells!?. This has happened on at least 5 different occasions….
I only hope that it’s attacking someone on the brink if death so I can run past her and (not get incinerated by torches) leg it back to where the first burrow usually spawns.

I always melee that spider with my guardian and pretty much always if its a pug they go like (da)kitten you doing, than they all die and eventually shut their traps as i solo her >;3

I bought the heavy set but only use just the boot skin. While i don’t like the armour skin as set, i think some pieces are really well done and cool.

Totally worth it, was’nt it? C;

Multi-classing

A great way to have fun and get exp rather easily is to go sightseeing on higher level maps: collecting wp and poi and possibly skill poi too while trying to stay alive

Guardian. Stand your ground, Wall of reflection, Save yourselves and few others

with my build i found myself irreplacable for party keeping them alive and taking pressure all the time while still helping with ok dps.. well we gave up near end anyways – had no warriors, no mesmers no other guardians for our defence
Still it was nice standing out all the time, being ’’immortal’’ as they described me

As far as I have seen the closest there is, is the Vigil Guild Armor that you only get from joining the Guild. My highest warrior is only in mid 20’s.

Pit Fighter set + vigil + Barbaric pieces should do the trick i think. Anyways in mysts the spvp map you can find lockers to preview all the armour

I’d say my guardian is pretty kitten op when it comes to survability.. honestly, i can solo pretty much any champs out there while still keeping neeT dps and taking any number of adds with ease

Dunno about the exact armour you’re looking for and can hope you only find the right one but from my own experience i can say that in order to properly cosplay something, finding the right dyes is as important and not always the expensive ones are better and some cheap dyes on some armour can look just as good or give color close of what youre looking for.
Here’s my old cosplay for Genesis from FF7 on preview(it’s even better now but i havn’t made any screens lately) so anyways try not to give up on your Xena’s cosplay and best of luck since it’s one of those little things that can spice up the game!

Aye, i runed instance with my zerker warrior and even i was surprised of how long it took to take him down.. on the other hand i don’t think i was even once knocked though o.o

i got my holographic wings from the 3rd holo i activated, but thats just luck

For my experience either mesmer or thief too. Thief was more fun while mesmer was… sadly almost always more usefull.

If they made new hairstyles and good ones on top of that.. i wouldnt really mind spending most of my money whatever the old>gem price would be.

Can get armour from dungeons the guys listed above but Trinkets were craftable i think… i think

Used to be one of my most used utilitys mainly because i also used runes of lyssa so it fit perfectly(not that it benefit from it) and it had a nice short cd. Guess some random protection boons or such did save my butt couple of times too. Condi part was always meh

I run with quite low end computer and lowest graphics yet the frames im getting after recent patch makes it totally unenjoyable 2 play anymore.. before that i didnt really ever had any problems with frames.. well except in wv3

My guardian in the middle but i was actually just trying to take some screenshots of the mesmer on the left as it was the most kittening coolest mesmer ive ever seen! The only screenshot i ended up doing before he/she run off tho T.T and yh my graphic card sucks xd

I got base 12%crit chance and 23%crit dmg but with the gs its 18%+5%(sigil) and 32%crit dmg so infact i feel quite powerful actually

Ill share my support build. Its 0/0/10/30/30 with 70% base boon duration, ~2700ish thougness, about 800+on healing p and it works really really wonderfull. With recent experimenting with gear parts it actually does pretty neat dmg too. Honor grandmaster trait line is really the core for it, giving pure voice for neat condi removal and by adding some changes can make hammer really shine with its auto-attack. It all works really great for me and im never having any problems, heck i even not so long ago finished spider queen with her remaining ~40%hp in ac expl when all my party members died .Oh and i always carry all the weapon types available for my guardian(which is sometimes a bit annoying but always rewarding).Hope i helped you somehow by sharing my experience

So what? I told him a suggestion for story mode because it works pretty much fine there too. Another tip for doing so would be luring the lieutenant to troll as thats easier and that troll tends to lose agro sometimes if the disntance is too far.

I fully 1v1 killed veteren flying medusa thingy with my guardian on Solid Ocean Fractal while being downed 100% of the fight. When i go downed with my necro i usually go down for good in next second most of the time.. however i dont play with my necro anymore ^^

I still hope to believe that what really matters is the actual players skill and knowledge about class but so far on the contrary of my naive believe this is the setup i find that makes stuff real easy and smooth for everyone:

4zerker warriors(kill everything ASAP, banners)
1guardian with maximum support(me) helping them to stay alive and protected(pure voice, extra boon durations etc)

Im not trying to offend anyone and im really sorry if i did, just reflecting the current state of the game maybe by sharing this experience.

But as for what the topic suggests, what would be your perfect party setup for doing any dungeon run?

In game series called monster hunter you dont even have such things as visable health bar for monsters, can you imagine that? Also If it would apply for world bosses than same would need to apply for everything.. which would question balance i think

Thought protection one was the priory too.. maybe just not the best party

Aye, when i was making my guardian i really wanted to make my own brand new ‘’burning guardian’’ build with the idea focusing around on both condi dmg and some extra healing pow as well as just enough prec. Hanvnt made it yet but still not giving up on a idea so i wish you success with yours. I also thought about using flame legion runes and another thing id suggest you to use rare veggie pizza as nourishment as it gives 40%condi duration and 70condi dmg. A bit pricey it is tho
