Detha doesn’t begin building traps
- Reproduction: Detha is in combat when going to the trap area?
- Prevention: Kill enemies. Use stealth to skip (don’t get in combat). Get whole team and Detha out of combat before going to the trap area?

Just wanted to add that I had this bug show up yesterday. However, the fix with getting Detha killed doesn’t seem to apply. We tried killing her multiple times, but she still wont trigger the trap building event.
Yeah i didnt think that bug could be fixed outside of restarting the dungeon. :P
IIRC, I have got it work after killing her. The event might be multistepped so depending on when it bugs you may get different results.
Can anyone else confirm this?
They fixed interrupting with paralyzation sigil so im not able to stop pugs from one shotting him anymore :C

It’s all good, he fixed his spreadsheet. It was just amusing that so many people upvoted “evidence” without even understanding it at all.
Today I was playing arah p1 with my brother and some pugs. It was pretty epic. We wiped on Lupicus like 5 times until they wanted a guard to 1 shot it. Two of those wipes happened when Lupicus had less than 10k health. We also wiped on Jotun and half of the team died every skip even though I tried to stealth them. They got constantly revealed for unknown reasons.
Anyways one left and we got a guard for oneshot (I objected). It didn’t go very well and Lupicus lost only like 25% health so it was good that I had used Smoke Screen.
But was fun!

Sure, it’s nice that people upvote stuff but I think it would be better if the spreadsheet wasn’t completely wrong. Luckily the results are almost correct.
For a comparison, my post about weapon strength / attribute caps got 100 upvotes and lots of people telling me that I’m wrong.

Generally speaking “best” is subjective. If you have no one trying to do what you did, it’s not necessarily a very big accomplishment.

There would be no appeal system. Rating system would internally attempt to detect abuse (such as someone getting 50 votes during one day).
A public wall of shame is also an option. Instead of a rating, an evidence video would be needed.

There is an authentication API so it would work like login on this forum.
Yes, on all hostile encounters people would probably just downvote each other. But on average the guy who always participates in those encounters would end up with the worst rating.
If you play normally it should be fairly easy to keep up positive rating even if you sometimes get downvoted, excluding of course coordinated abuse.

This is a brainstorm topic for a possible community rating system. Nothing has been done yet and not exactly sure when I have enough time.
The goal of this system is to reduce negative behavior in dungeons and fractals by adding a consequence. This negative behavior includes:
- Kicking people randomly
- Stealing instances
- Not delivering what promised
- Not reading LFG messages
- Being nasty
The system would contain two components, viewer and rater.
The viewer would allow anyone search the database. The viewer would ask an account or a character name and return his/her rating. Additionally the viewer could show the best or the worst players.
The rater would allow people rate other people. This would require authentication with GW2 account by using the API. After login, the rater would ask for a character name and/or account name. Then it would ask is the person a party member, a buyer or a seller. Then it would ask for the rating.
Rating options for a party member:
- Player was helpful.
- Player was ok.
- Player didn’t meet the LFG criteria.
- Player was rude.
- Player kicked me without a reason.
- Player exploited.
Rating options for a buyer:
- Buyer was good.
- Buyer was ok.
- Buyer didn’t send gold.
- Buyer stole the instance.
Rating options for a seller:
- Service was good.
- Service was ok.
- Seller kicked me after receiving the gold
- Seller used exploits to complete the instance
Additionally the rater would have an option for a video link which can be used to prove negative behavior. Human admins would approve the evidence and give huge negative rating.
The biggest concern is people abusing the system. Bunch of people could easily ruin the whole thing by downvoting reputable people. Some kind of a system to flag suspicious behavior would be needed and real people to verify and ban the people.
All in all, not sure if the whole thing would be really worth of the initial and continuous effort. Feel free to leave your ideas or comments!

Warrior is a banner bot, Thief is a stealth bot and so on. The thing is, none of the roles are very complex.
I’m pretty sure the projectile goes straight but the animation is just weird.
Is that a general bug or only specific to thaumanova?

Apparently there are quite many dungeon halting bugs. Also there are some positive bugs which violate restricted record rules making them harmful in records and tournaments.
Goal of this topic is to collect as much info as possible from these bugs so I can document them on gw2dungeons.net.

Apparently ranging dredge carrier is efficient. Plus stacking behind corner of course. Also no stealth or might stacking.

Rules are what the community wants them to be. They aren’t really following any logic.
I’m pretty the end boss is more dangerous on land than water so it’s allowed to give people a choice. If it can somehow be abused it will be disallowed.
I’m pretty sure most professions can quite safely take the hammer if they have full health and utilities ready.
Heavy armor doesn’t give health.
Just fyi, you aren’t supposed to tank hits in this game.
Anyways on topic. Does a polar bear bow count as a bear bow?

I doubt that. Perhaps 2 or 3 shot. Heavy armor reduces damage like 15% so instead of lasting 2-3 shots you last 2.35 – 3.5 shots.
Sure sure, I get this “elementalist so weak, warrior so strong” hate feels good. But truth is that without active defense you will get blown up and just because someone is a warrior doesn’t mean he is always the best person to run the hammer.
You don’t think “sorry fr” is a good enough communication?
You can have fun while skipping.
Most of the times you are facing elite enemies which take a lot longer to kill than the usual normal enemies on the open world, while still presumably dropping similar loot. By skipping them you save time and get the end reward faster.
Arah p4: if you let the NPC die at the gate with Abomination, the event at Lyssa will not trigger. There is no fix for this bug.
AC p1 (after p2): if you run straight to the boss area before passing the usual cave opening the event will be bugged and not spawn the final boss.
Which NPC? Randall or fake Lyssa?
Reminds me of yesterday’s Arah P4. I’m pretty sure that total damage dealt to bosses from one player was less than 10k since he always ran somewhere and got killed. We finally had to kick him at Simin after spending ~5 minutes watching him to kill a spark.
Obviously we sold his spot to get something out of this misery.

Team won’t be disqualified but their time gets increased based on how long the event took for the other team.
Going full berserker’s is going glass cannon, and you cannot blame the game for “being too hard” when you set yourself up like that, everyone loves pumping out max damage but if you can’t handle it, don’t do it. There are lots of viable gear alternatives for a damage focused role that won’t end with you getting 1 shot from everything.
Because toughness mitigates damage so poorly in this game, many end-game foes will one-shot you regardless of how much toughness you have. This is why damage-centric builds are the most popular in the game: burn them down before they get the chance to one-shot you.
Toughness works fine, it’s not just needed.
I guess all of these would be worth documenting.

At the moment Ravi is doing a general stealth stacking guide and Iris is doing some kind of a might stacking guide.
Stealth stacking is quite simple so I think Ravi’s video will cover it completely. But for might stacking there will probably be multiple videos. For example a general guide and several in-depth guides. But no idea what Iris is doing so we will see how this all works out.

Sometimes it means that they are looking for someone to carry them.
Picking up deals 30% of your maximum health so it doesn’t matter that much who picks it.
What about warrior banners?!
Story mode was only available in Living Story season 1.
IIRC, dormitories open up in scale 30.
