I would like to know what anet means by this.

Removed the ability to use many karma related items in WvW

No i bought it as i knew there would be no monthly fee.
if i wanted to pay a monthly fee i would play wow.

I can wait,but i would like to see the official patch notes tbh.

Imo i think it’s more to do with the race they play.
for instance i can fly though most if not all on human,asua,sylvari.
but when it comes to the charr or norm,i tend to have probs and takes me much longer to complete the jp.

Favourite to level: Guardian
Least favourite to level: Engi/Thief
Favourite at 80: Guardian/Warrior/Ranger
Least favourite at 80: Engi/Ele

I hate the engi at lvl 80 only because the dmg output is just not there.
as for the ele,well i just cannot get my head around changing the elements within a fight to get the best dmg output.

3x tonight it has crashed in la for me within 5 mins.
I was lvling up my jewellery but i doubt it’s out to do with that.

Now this is the first time(besides the beta events) gw 2 has crashed for me,so it’s def something to do with the new update.
I cannot send a bug report because it sort of freezes the computer besides the mouse,i have to end gw 2 processes to be able to carry on,but the send bug disappears doing that.

I’m just lvling my last lvl 80 then i have all 8 lvl 80,and it happens to be an eng.
i’m almost lvl 80 and tbh the dmg just suxs.

Even though i have the same lvl gold weapon,i still cannot do as much dmg as my other 7 chars when they was at that lvl.
The eng def needs some sort of buff imo.

Easy way is to find a deer.
learn the dodge with them but don’t kill them.
also you can get two dodges in,when they rear up to kick you.

we are a strong server.
last week we came sec in t1,but because of a server dropping out in t2 it messed up the points that put us in 4th.

Suxs going to 4th place when we was sec in t1.
oh well after next week who knows where we will be because of the point reset.
(if we don’t do well in t1)
But i’m sure we will hit t1 again sooner or later as always.

Culling is much better. I hope ANet is careful about the feedback they get in here. I think some of those saying it isn’t better were in fact those abusing it and are hoping to get it reverted back.

I have a i7 very good computer tbh.
I don’t abuse culling because i hate it myself.
Also i don’t want it reverted back,I want it fixed.

when your 10 feet away and they all disappear,when it did not happen before you know something is wrong.

Hmm i have a powerful computer so i know it not my comp.
but this is what i’v noticed so far.

We sent 6 golems to enemys keep door now why i was stood next to them i could see all 6.
but take around 10 steps backwards they disappear.

This has never happened before.
so tec unless things are around 5 foot in front of me,i cannot see them.

Did they remove the rich orri node from south shore?

I would like to be able to turn it off as well.
for my lad his res is only 1600 so that as well as the quest clutter his right side screen.
we can always just press H and look ourselfs we don’t need it forced in out faces.

I thought right i’ll do the daily to get rid of it,did it then the monthly pops up,now i cannot get rid of that as i don’t do dungeons.

I used to like doing my dailys.
But the Combo thing i just don’t understand.

why am i forced to have help from other players when i like doing my own thing?
i lost out on a daily because of that combo thing.
also ppl with slower connections wont stand a chance because the ppl with super fast connections can fin the enemy off with the flag combo before you even get a chance.

I don’t mind most of the new dailys but this combo thing needs to be sorted out.
it no fun when ppl can beat you to the post.
after 1 hour in wvw i got zero even though i fin them with the combo flag

tbh this game is becoming less fun with every patch imo.

Hmm don’t the bank hold the money back for 3-10 working days even though the payment had failed?

Also you can get one from the order of whispers,it’s not the same but it’s a hood.
(as long as you picked that faction)

i think this one is a bug as well,as a few ppl are getting it.
Just glad it’s not my graphics card.

My idea of guesting was able to play say usa time zone when my time zone is sleeping and same with usa.
Atm gusting is mostly useless then.

Oh well hopefully in the future we can guest usa servers.

The easiest way to get to la is goto pvp or wvw then enter the portal gate to la.

Just got a powerful computer now and set the shaders to high,yet in wvw eb some textures just show a plain white,if i put it back on med its ok.

for instance umberglade wood,the mill is white when settings set on high,but if i put it back to med it’s ok.

nvidia drivers 310.90 so i’m not sure if this is driver related as these are the latest and it’s a new computer,So I don’t want to mess about putting older drivers in as these drivers runs great with all my other games.

I’v not notice the white bug in the pve side yet only in wvw.

I took a gamble and bought 450 presents inc the 150 i had.
596 mouse clicks later i got the unbreakable bell.

Now i’m not to sure to sell it now,or wait untill the event is over as it might go higher in price.
I would have kept it,but i’m skint and need to cash to armour up my chars.

I would love to have the option to pick heros for dungeons only.
I hate grouping with pugs simply because,if things go wrong they look to blame someone within the group,then kick them,or they just quit.
or they just want to rush the dungeon,i’v not seen any of the movies yet,because they more or less say watch movie kicked.

Also the low lvl dungeons ect ect,no one ever does them nowadays,there all for la dungeon mostly.
So heros would help ppl there as well.

tbh i would like the option to turn them off so i don’t see them in pve.
Also i would like the option to turn off certain commanders in wvw as well tbh.

As there is one or two commanders in wvw that don’t have a clue,as causes ppl to get confused,also takes away the resources from the better commanders.
money should not buy the commander title tbh,it has to be earned.

Anyway commander icons in pve should not be there imo.
or only show up if your in there group.

Never seen one drop yet in the many hours i’v played.
I got a few from story line but never a random mob drop.

New culling patch isnt working. It lags us out and isnt rendering the enemies like it’s supposed to.
I say revert to old way and start over.

on top of that its crashing more as well now,and stuck on the loading screen a lot.

I enjoy wvw my only grip is two things.

1. it’s a number game if your server don’t have the number in wvw game over.
2. costs not many ppl upgrade the keeps or garrisons as the cost are to high.
I alone spent over 1 gold within an hour upgrading yet i made 4- 7 silver in the same hour. down 93 silver plus sieges.
that’s not even counting the karma as well.

We need to get better rewards. also prices for upgrading needs to be a lot lower.
otherwise most ppl wont upgrade and just leech what they can.

I’m happy about this.
Invisible & invulnerable players can no longer contest capture points in WvW.

Also i agree the loot drop is poor,and the gems have sky rocketed.
Not seen a gold item drop in weeks.i don’t use mf gear but still would be nice to get a few gold and exotic drops now and then.

The only exotic drop i ever got was from two things,mk jp and the lost shores event.

hmm i would have thought soon as you log in with your new password the other person would have been kicked.
only thing you can do then is contact support.

reset your password asap.
that would be the first thing i would have tried tbh.

I tend to make more than i lose tbh.
my only grip is the kill bags,nothing worst than killing a few enemys there bags drop,but then get jumped by 4 more before you can loot them.

We should be able to auto loot them,ppl lose a lot of items they can sell for copper or even rares and badges because of that tbh.

This one seems to happen to me all the time.

If I goto wvw fight for 10-20 mins or so then goto the jp,stuck on loading screen.
(does it every time)
yet if i enter wvw and go straight to the jp i’m ok.

anet more or less said there will be other ways to get them besides fractals dungeons.

This is the reply i got off support when i asked the same question.
Also i did it to my lads account so i know it works.

Gail did say that it was on the cards,but no time frame though.
but tbh at lvl 20 i would just re-start again,as getting to lvl 20 don’t take long anyway.
you could possibly do that within a day or two in wvw if you follow a zerg group.

I only go there for the ori tbh.
not much else to do there maybe the jp as well.

I did see an npc there,that takes this crafting mat they can drop for a good ring.
( i think its like the one you got from the event)
but the amount you need to get for the ring.it would take you months of farming.

Tbh they could easily add more stuff in the cash shop to make money,for instance more costumes,custom weapon skins ect ect.
They would def make more money that way.

The new gear will prob be to prepare us for the new expansion.
i just hope there are other means to get it besides dungeons.

I have real fast net,never disconnect on any game wow/rift ect ect.
yet gw 2 i have had a few disconnects,because it is there end that causes it.

So you’re saying because we cannot log in as there login server has messed up,it’s our connection?

I hope we can get the gear besides dungeons.
I hate doing dungeons with pugs,not keen on the dungeons anyway.

As of now it’s hard to get a group to do even lvl 1 as they all want lvl 5-10+.
So the new players are going to be left behind.

I just hope anet sees sense and make the gear doable by other means,even if we have to grind some gold to buy them or able to make them.
otherwise they will lose a lot of players because not many ppl want to run dungeons with elitists.

The elitists wow days are over for me,that’s why i turned to gw 2 to avoid all that.
I really hope anet don’t go down that route and rethinks a way to please everyone.

Also Just look at lost shores now,dead as a door nail,only ppl there are the ones for the ori nodes.
Well that area did not last long now did it.
I know it nothing to do with the armour and stuff,but just shows that anet are doing it all wrong if new places are empty so quick.
This will happen to the game if anet don’t pull there socks up.

Just take the copper and del it,yeah it’s a gold seller.
just a messed up one as he’s forgot to add the rest of the stuff.

anet already stated that’s it’s ok to take the copper,because they do that so you cannot del the mail unless you take it or send it back.

Just get it from the karma guy in the pirate cave in lions arch.

Not sure this will help you but thats what i had to do to change it from a trial to full account.

I think you will find that anet logging server went down as well,so many of us missed out that way.
Disconnected then could not log in for 40 mins or so,by then event was over.

Same two hours+ wasted because of disconnect,loggin server down missed out on chest.

Tbh it would be nice if anet put the chest back up and only the ppl who did not loot it could loot it.
I know some ppl who didn’t even do the event gets to loot it,but it’s still better than us missing out.
Make it so only one account can loot it so ppl don’t log in with other chars.

Impossible anet would not do that.

I’v not logged into my gw account for well over a year now,i just tested it and logged in fine.
anet will not suspend and account for not logging in for a long period of time.
there must be more to this than not just logging in.

As long you both don’t share the same e-mail.of course you can log in different accounts.
you wont get punished for that.

Tbh i would like to have heros return for dungeons tbh.
if the lower dungeons are empty all the time and almost impossible to group,then it would be nice to be able to pick up some heros.

At least we can do dungeons tbh.

I do agree orr needs an overhaul.
different mobs besides the ones that pull you back and forth(seems like there is tones of them),respawn times a little longer.
less mobs with stuns,seems like the stuns go on for ages as well.

Two big areas that just have undead is a bit annoying tbh.

I used to farm for stuff on my ranger,but now i use my guardian simple fact is soon as ppl see a ranger with a bear they auto think its a bot and hit the report button.

So i don’t want to take the risk of account banned for farming mats that i need to lvl up my proff.
it suxs because i kinda like my ranger tbh.

tbh this is not a flame post.

I was not keen on the new island,seems real small.
mobs are a pain but not as bad as orr at least i can move about without 10+ pulling me back and forth.

No quest on the new island as far as i can see,only events.
anyway there are many more places to be unlocked by anet so hopefully they will be better ones.

As for the ascended set i do agree,we should not be forced to do dungeons with random groups just to be on par with armour stats.
