These threads need to stop…the ball is in there court…they know what the community wants…its up to them to implement it. We shall see if they make the changes we want etc…

By team cap i mean instead of 1 person holding the point vs 2 others and being fine make it so majority on the cap wins and starts capping it back for their team etc. This will reduce the need for bunkers and bursts.
TL;DR – They know what we want…less new threads about this stuff. Balls in their court.
In my humble opinion the best quick-fix for the whole problem would be to introduce single/duo queue free tournaments (or just single games) with a strong matchmaking mechanic.

Great post and this part is a great idea. Simple, quick solution while they iron out a good ladder system. This way, queues will still be somewhat quick since many many people queue solo or with 1 other friend, and you won’t have to get throat punched in Khylo anymore!

Think of it this way…kitten and leave the game…post constructively and things don’t work out they don’t change it and you leave the game. Either way the result is you leaving the game…why not go without you coming across as a kittening kitten kitty kat kitten … At least option 2 makes you look less like a tool AND has the potential to see changes.

Make the capping mechanic team based aka more players = cap in your direction less you lose it etc…yes.yes.yes…dare i say it…similar to wow. I’m terribly sorry to have to mention that piece of kitten of a game…and yes i said kitten myself =P….but make it so you don’t count towards the cap if your cc’d…similar to stealth etc. That way cc / bunker classes remain in some kind of use. to hold off for a small amount of time like they were intended i believe. /shrug.
Next. I believe yes a matchmaking system is required and ideally along with changing normal spvp to 5v5 as well.
Lastly…don’t change anything more with classes UNTIL please note UNTIL…you have fixed all the bugs that plague most classes…I am of the strong opinion if you do those three things…you will see a massive turn around in tPvP…i shall add a bolded tldr at end and beginning. Thanks for reading =)
TL;DR – Matchmaking, change to team cap not 1 person can hold a node. ( more people cap goes in your favour…that will change the bunker and burst issue imo ), Balance classes AFTER!!!! you fix bugs that each class has.
Plan to make more videos once the custom bought private PvP servers come out…dueling videos / custom ran 3v3 tournaments etc.

Elite dynamic events like we have but instanced so you can take however many, and whoever you want in… No need to provide anything other than aesthetic rewards like cosmetic upgrades and titles etc. Can take as many guildies as you can for that night have the instanced EDE’s.
Gem store item to change the position of where your weapons hang / hilt when sheathed. I would like to change the sheathing position of my axes from by my side where I can’t see them and they clip into my leg piece to having the crossing over my back…looking all awesome n shiz.
Let me know your thoughts. Anet dev’s how likely?

Protesting WvW. After the tier-1 SBI/BG fiasco there is really no point in participating in such a poorly designed and exploitable feature. They also patched the ability to switch to town clothes and not have to pay repair costs, which is another reason I’m not playing WvW this week.
How unbalanced and broken WvW is is proven by this week’s match. A sub-par and lousy server like SoS should be in second or even last place. Mass transfers and server-hopping give otherwise terrible servers insane advantages.
The bad thing about WvW is that once a server gets a measly 4-5k points ahead its pretty much over. Morale is crushed and nobody can really be bothered with it. After all, there are no rewards to winning WvW and it’s a total loss (repair costs, spending gold on siege, etc).

What I find as funny…is that last week vs’ing crystal desert and sanctum of rall…SoS were down 40-50k points at one stage to SoR with about 24-32 hours remaining…And we won…Are we still a kittenerver? Do people still give up after 6k points behind? =S
well personally I play warrior archetypes in most games / MMO’s as dps…I’m honestly losing more and more faith in warriors damage capabilities in tournament settings…/shrug just me though. Might have to explore some alts.
My biggest frustration is what I feel is a very very very limited use in Tournament…NOT STRUCTURED…but tournament PvP…
I mean sure if warriors out there are finding a nice tournament PvP build then share it…but I so far I see few teams taking a warrior.
I would love to see a paid thing through the gem store where you change the hilt positions for weapons…i love axes but hate how the sit at the side of the body hanging down….i’d willing pay 10 bucks to have my axes on my back crossing over etc…could use that to change hilt positions and holding positions of characters…aka change how you hold axes greatswords etc etc.
I dunno personally i feel this is an amazing idea…what do you guys think?
yea fair call Ive only just hit 80 and I have heard a lot of guildies frustrated about the DR issues. Makes sense still annoying though haha
Hi anet devs and everyone else…with anets impressive record on keeping up to date and being very quick to identify and let us know when they are aware of bugs how come it feels I haven’t heard anything on the bugged skill points that came with this latest patch.
I have many skill points around the place that are bugged out wont work…including ones I have already completed now showing up as undone etc. I curious if its my own ignorance or if nothing has been mentioned of this yet…its not just me either many in my guild and on server have mentioned " i just need 4 more skill points til world explored, waiting on anet to fix bugged skill points " etc.

Loving the class so far…I do feel we need a little love for tPvP viable builds but that being said I am well aware not every build has really been discovered by the masses yet. As for some tips.

1. Custom level adjustment (only downwards tho)
2. Camera mode. A first person mode that’ll allow you to move the camera freely around. Change DOF, FOV, even freeze time, Change daytime and lighting options. (Like pitch black with a single light lighting the players in frame) This could also be used as a spectator view.And map notes to remember interesting locations(oh crap that was 3)

Hey guys and hello arenanet devs if you read this =).
As I’m sure we can all understand arena net presumably are still ironing out some bugs from launch and most probably will have their plate full for a few weeks still helping people with their accounts all that jazz. Once the dust settles I am curious to know what arena nets first plans are. What takes the top priority once everything has been smoothed over regarding launch.
Personally I believe the game is brilliant I can’t wait for whats around the corner…as I understand it there was a dev post regarding Orr and launch stating that a lot of Orr content had been pulled for launch to ensure a smoother launch so they can focus on those issues before introducing the bulk of the PvE from Orr. Likewise we understand arena net are alongside players, crossing fingers that GW2 pushes into the e-sport scene. I definitely see the potential but I beleive the first hurdle for that is a really solid spectator mode.
I can appreciate you guys probably have heard this a lot but my personal top 2 priorities for " the next step " once bugs and accounts etc have been sorted is getting Orr and spectator mode crankin.
With that I’d love to know what others think the next 2 priorities for arena net should be regarding gw2. Keep in mind this is assuming all bugs and accounts hacking has been rectified. ( Bugs like higher level zones DE’s bugging out etc etc, assume all that fixed ).
I have noticed this today in starter zone for humans queensdale…2 second + ability delay. Its first real major issue ive noticed…but really appreciate a fix…its not my internet i have browse download and play all other games fine…i have turned off and configured and re configured my antivirus software its only gw2.
I know some may know about this already some may find this useful but I made a video specifically looking at the strength trait line and how to get the most out of dodging on your warriors etc
