Here’s an idea: why don’t you actually play the game regularly and you will never miss out on content? I’m pretty sure that’s what Anet is shooting for…

You want to be able to reap the same benefits as people who had the commitment to play, but not actually have to play yourself. God people can be so entitled.

if they would ADD all the living story content as Perm now it would be basically a Big content Update to the game.

did you watched all the dev speak whats in the game ? the combat break out gameplay ? the housing that have a porpose not just cosmetic ? the different type of PvP activities ? most of the mmos don’t offer anything else then raids or BGs.

GW2 only has WvW spvp and Instances I don’t count living story as content that you can do whenever you want. WoW has BGs Arenas aaaaand raids nothing else also.

Devs can say all they want, it doesn’t mean that’s what the game’s actually going to be like. The devs of this game showed us how pre-patch Tequatl had a million different features but it turned out to be just a 1-spam until they revamped him.

I don’t see this being different with Wildstar, especially when they showed that level 20 dragon boss’s mechanics and the tank was just literally staying still and soaking up all the damage from everything.

btw Put ANY mmo together with any Other MMO it would be a Blast if it doesen’t have Asian MMO in it.

1. Make the living Story Replayable
2. Make them Perm content with the Zones Always Open or almost always
3.Temporal content like this TOTALY kills people of that want to come back and found out that how much they lost and the world didn’t gained anything Temporal content wont make people that want to come back happy.

what about new players ? they come here start the game and after they start the living story the 1st thing that hits them is how many of game content they never can play again NEVER again and if they need to leave for a few month how many things will they miss out that they NEVER be able to do ever again.

i Agree there are sooo many useless Traits some of them should be added to some abilities as effects when you use the ability as baseline and give some worthy traits instead of them.

This made me think of an achievements book where artwork of each goal would appear for its achievement, finishing in a full digital artbook of GW2’s Bestiary, JPs, etc.

Excellent example of a game design aspect playing to the games inherent strengths, the artwork in GW2 is and always has been beautiful.
